Went in and there was no other customers but a lot of staff. everyone was happy and said good morning. it looked like they were having a good time. great service. place to sit outside. I love einsteins.edit: nice black lady called me baby. i feel so loved

Good food, service was fine but no seating available.

There were three staff members on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 12:30. Two of the three were pleasant and willing to treat customers with respect. The other staff member was rude, hostile, belittling, and aggressive. When a large order came through while I was in line, she screamed at me and the five people behind us that we might as well leave because an order came in and they were too busy to help. She accosted a costumer for requesting caramel drizzle on his drink. She yelled at costumers coming through the door that it was going to be a “really really long wait.” They abruptly left, along with several other costumers that entered right before them. It’s safe to say I will be avoiding this place at all costs due to that woman’s unpleasant and out-right aggressive “costumer service.”

This is an okay downtown breakfast spot. The staff are not super friendly or welcoming, reminds me a bit of Boston/NYC personalities, so i’m not super inclined to spend a lot of time waiting there, so i usually put my orders in ahead of time on the app. But they no longer allow order entry on the app for this location and i’m not sure why… but, they’ve lost my business because of it.

Best breakfast sandwich out there is that farmhouse. The service is always good, and fast considering how packed the place is! I highly recommend getting the app, and ordering ahead. Great coffee, too!

So not only does this kid at the front of the store have an attitude, but apparently when you ask for avocado toast he feels the need to sprinkle seeds and salt all over it. I asked for avocado toast not bird feed man. Also do not try to correct someone blatantly, or rudely on pronunciation of a word. To think that you said or however you want to say it I guess. First off your English teacher failed you, and secondly you shouldnt be acting like that to a customer. Especially if you knew what was being said. Clearly you have basic comprehension skills, but failed with using them or manners?

Seating area was a mess we had to ask to have a table cleaned, there were seven or eight behind counter appeared to have manager on laptop in counter seating area. This location was just redone. I asked for a cinnamon crunch bagel toasted wound up with a French toast bagel not toasted. Ordered a fountain drink was charged for coffee. No real reason to go back. This was our favorite location.

Even with minimal interaction, because I ordered ahead, the customer service is outstanding! The woman at the register is very kind and acknowledges everyone coming through. Food is delicious, too.

I am thoroughly disappointed with my most recent shopping experience. I went in to get a dozen bagels and in return I was treated rudely and berated for what bagels I am picking by who I think is the a.m. manager. She decided it was ok for her to tell me that because I was buying certain bagels it would mean that nobody else would be able to buy them. That is generally how buying something goes.Bagels, or any consumer good really, are meant to be sold. It shouldnt matter to whom they are sold as long as they are. I should not be made to feel guilty about the bagels I want and am spending money one. I have never seen anyone else get berated for the bagels they are buying, and I shouldnt have been either. This lady made me feel like I, and my money, are not welcome at their store. It is a shame because they are right around the corner from me and I would go in regularly to get bagels when I have company over. I feel like I should be finding a different bagel place in the city if I am being judged and berated for what I am buying.

Carbs plus fats, plus dairy. All good. Or bad, if you dont do those things.

Love this place!

Really gross. Sandwich was soggy and the avocado was bitter and unripe tasting. Toasted hash brown was smashed flat and crispy to the paper wrap, couldnt eat half of it. Bummed I spent time getting this. Oh and the app is poorly set up, cant review past orders, and cant notify store when out front.

Our visit was good. The cashier ( black woman) didnt get her name was great. After we recieved our food I realized that they forgot the jelly for our sandwhich so I walked back up to the cashier which was now a caucasian woman who appeared to be a supervisor. I asked her if I could have some jelly she never looked up and she walked away from the register, I then said excuse me and as she walked to the back she told a young guy to assist me. I didnt catch her name but it was rude and disrespectful to walk off on a customer and not even say anything. I would have gave 5 stars because everyone else was great but the experience on exiting was unnecessary.

The staff in the coffee area this morning need a lesson on how to behave in a coffee shop. Their extremely loud obnoxious behavior reminds me of middle school girls. A coffee shop should be relaxing and quiet for conversation My group will not be back. Get some professional staff!

Needs staff training. It’s usually slow. One thing I notice is the staff never greets you when you get to the register, so it’s unclear they are even ready to take your order. Sometimes there are a lot of people back behind the counter standing around, but only one person taking orders. I’ve had to wait for two staff to finish their conversation before taking my order. Once I got an iced tea with my bagel sandwich, which is a simple pour, and nobody was told to get it. I had to remind the person by that station to check one of three order screens. It’s so disappointing because the food is good. I know food service can be frustrating and you can’t be on point all day long, but there’s a consistent customer service need at this location in particular.

This location is awesome. We had a mix-up with being overcharged and chatted with the manager -- she was incredibly kind, helpful, and patiently got us a refund and charged the right amount. I love Einstein bagels no matter what, but sometimes service can be iffy at the stores. Not this one -- definitely stop by :)

A couple bad experiences (2 for 2) with the AM manager (I assume) means I probably won’t return. The rest of the staff is lovely.

Caribou Coffee and Einstein Bros. Bagels combined!? How convenient! Stoped for brunch before our small trip today. Busy, but staff was courteous and fast with orders. Coffee was good and so were the bagels. Not to much seating available because it was at a busy time.If you’re looking to get something quick to eat and drink, I would take this to go. Can’t find a good place to dine if it’s at a busy hour.Overall though, it was an enjoyable stop!

Today I tried to add the reward points via the smartphone app as I always do and found nothing added on my account right after the transition was completed. I told the Persian looking server that the points were not added. He said, “yeah, they weren’t.” and kept making my coffee. I appealed again and then he said it’s because I put my phone on the scan bar after he did checked out using my credit. I said, “well, you mean, is this my fault that you can’t fix?”, and he said “well, I can’t, unfortunately.” I was so upset with his rudeness and unprofessionalism. He should have asked me whether I have the app to scan and explained what happened with saying sorry when he found something wrong. Plus, I was holding the phone with the app turned on before I handed in my credit card to him and put my phone several times at the same time I handed in my card to him. I have never failed to scan the barcode while I visited this store hundreds of time.I will not visit this place any longer even though I really like the crews working early in the morning. They might remember me ordering the same menu all the time, large iced latte. Some of new crews made a mistake such as giving me hot latte instead of iced one that I ordered, but they fixed it with apologies, which were acceptable. My 3 stars are all for them.

Just moved and tried this out today....first and only time ill be coming here. Waited over a half hour for literally 2 sandwiches. Customers who got same sandwiches who ordered 10-15mins after us got their order before us. Unless you have the entire morning to wait for one sandwich avoid this place at all cost!

Really fast service. My bagel was hot and fresh and looked just like the pictures. I highly recommend for a quick breakfast or to enjoy in their beautiful dining room! WiFi is Available for those who would like to get a little work done.

Great Einstein location! The staff here are very friendly and even though its usually pretty busy, they are very good at getting everyone through the line quickly. Their everything bagels are my favorite, and I even really like their flavored coffee!

There was a worker there who I wanted to get to know but I couldnt work up the courage to ask. Good bagels there tho.

We stopped in for a coffee break at 3:00 pm. How disappointing to find that the staff were already cleaning the machines for the end of the day. There was no fresh coffee available. The young man at the counter offered to make us a cup. How accommodating! Unfortunately, the coffee was weak and flavorless as well as luke warm. If this eatery is open until 5:00, it should be ready to serve customers until that time. Otherwise, if they are done at 3:00, they should close the restaurant.

10:55 Sunday morning.Stopped for a small coffee and toasted bagel. Place was packed.... and they were out of all three regular coffee offering. In a coffee shop? Seriously?

There is definitely a reason why the Starbucks down the sidewalk is packed and this location is dead. Their staff has not been trained on how to make a simple latte. I worked in a Caribou Coffee for almost 10 years and this was ridiculous. The barista first started pouring espresso shots direct into a plastic cup (that a no-no as it melts the plastic cup, plus I ordered a hot latte, not iced). Then he steamed espresso shots and milk together (again, wrong). At this point, he just gave up and walked in the back room, leaving one staff member in the front of the house with a backlog of drinks and a line at the register. His co-worker then proceeded to make my drink. The order of operations was closer to correct, but still not a good latte worth $5 - Really flat, the espresso machine needed to be calibrated to get the correct color and crema on the espresso shots, no frothed milk, etc. And she dumped the incorrect beverages into the clean water bath where the milk spoons/spatulas go instead of the sink behind her (unsanitary).I will not be returning to this location. Please train your staff appropriately.

Should not be one dollar sign at all! The average amount for there microwaved food for two is about $24 and you never feel like it’s worth it after! Lackluster excuse for college students to stay employed!

Tried to go this morning to get a bagel before work. The door and website said open at 6:00a. it was 6:17a and the door was locked. 2 people inside shaking their heads at me indicating that they are not open. There was another person outside waiting in confusion as well. Unfortunately I will not be going here again. :( This is 1-star performance and a huge no-no!

I have to give this location a 1 star ratings. The website says that they were open, however I arrived today a little befor 7am and there is a hand written note saying, sorry not open yet. However tge staff is clearly in there standing around talking. Many potential customers arrived this morning to a locked door. I was going to purchase many bagels for my ataff this morning. Hopefully this will not happen again.

Horrible. NO COFFEE. They screwed up my order three separate times and the staff was rude about it! Instead of refunding me they gave me a coupon for a free coffee and bagel. So Im gonna come back tomorrow to redeem free coffee you dont even have???? What a joke!

Besides the coffee being cheaper and better quality than the Starbucks next door, and the food being reasonably priced and tasting great, this store has the nicest staff around. Personal favorite for runs on the weekend.

There are typically few people in here so its easy to get a table with power near it. Coffee is fine.

Typically I don’t bother writing negative reviews but today I’m annoyed with this place for the last time.Years and years ago, I used to LOVE coming here for breakfast and coffee but I stopped going a while back because the staff is either loudly gossiping or not paying attention and the person I assume was one of the managers was always being rude.Today I decided to give it another chance, and sadly it hasn’t changed much. The guy running the register was nice enough but another visibly stressed out manager was making the sandwiches and was extremely rude and sour. I won’t bore you with all the details but it would really be nice if any of the staff learned a little bit more about customer service or would at least fake it like they are not completely inconvenienced by their customers. I would much rather not start my day with someone’s crabby attitude so I’ll just continue to skip Einstein’s and get my food somewhere else. First world problems...

Got lox from there twice. Once the bagel was toasted way too much so it was hard. Next time bagel was toasted at all. Very disappointing.

Rude. Look, Ive worked food service before (for several years in fact) and I know how frustrating and exhausting it can be, but really? Nobody...NOBODY had a smile on their face this morning and acted like customers were at fault for them having to work. Wow... After asking me not once, not twice, but THREE times what order I had, they still got it wrong.I have no words for this staff or this establishment but I will be spending my money elsewhere. Far too expensive to put up with peoples attitudes. Lesson learned.

Food was ok, but the price was a bit high for the amount you get and the wait took forever. I understand mornings are probably a busy time, but ten minutes for a bagel with spinach was a bit much.
