Went here a few times before for starters all with great experiences so naturally when my alternator started to act up I took it in there first thing saturday morning because I needed my truck road worthy by monday to get to work. Dropped it off right when they opened was originally told hour to hour and a half over phone when I arrived I was told by noon left phone number never got a call showed up at 1230 and it was done for who knows how long. Paid 63 dollars for the rebuild great deal go home put it all back together go for test ride later on only to find my previous issue is now worse basically undriveable. So here I am saturday with a worse off alternator and I need my truck to get to work monday so I went out and dropped 200 on a brand new alternator to ensure I can get to work so I crack open the repaired alternator only to find all my inside components corroded and crusty I could be wrong but I believe if not replaced should have atleast been cleaned and a bench test would have showed the issues. Not happy didnt even bother calling dont want excuses just taking the 60 dollar loss as a life lesson to not cheap out next time just buy new.

Alternator didnt work

On time, under budget. Literally saved me about $300 for a rebuild-swap, $600 new, or ≈$2500 to have it done in a shop. And they even cleaned the thing to boot...looks like new!Ive been an auto mechanic. I work in IT, but my passion is electronics. I COULD have done the repair myself, I have the skills, but I lack the facilities. I tested the unit (a Bosch/Mercedes alternator) before taking it in. I tested it again before reinstalling it and its all well within spec. Visual inspection shows that they actually used better-than-factory connection techniques (like soldrring/brazing/welding vs just crimping connections). With a fresh charge on the battery the car starts and runs great. I just wish they fixed batteries now, lol! Im a serious DIY-er, but TBH, Ill be taking all my alternator and starter issues to them from now on. Why wouldnt I?Stop reading reviews and shopping around....youre wasting your time. Just take it to these guys. Thank me later.
