Theres no help when you need it.And its really hard to find someone that knows their craft and lets in the morning and thats only a few people. But I still prefer home depots product over Menards
This is the worst Home Depot in the world!!!! Most of the staff are young and know nothing about home improvement, tools, or where anything is. Its like pulling teeth even locating someone to help! Ive walked in the tool rental with the employee sleeping at back desk, I had to smack the back door to wake him up, he wasnt even wearing a Home Depot shirt! I will admit that most tool rental guys their are awesome, but that one experience, wow! Everything else, 100% facts
Hands down the worst Home Depot I have ever visited. Trim cutting station had not been cleaned off in weeks. Had to move 6 of stacked up trim just to get to the surface. Of course the tape measure was also buried in the cut off which was also full. Multiple attempts to get assistance were pointed to someone else who works that department. I will never return.
Product selections are good, most of the workers DO NOT look motivated. Of course, there are a few like the blue haired rep in the paint department, are really helpful.

Im a contractor and I utilize not only this location, but 124th Street & Grafton as well... a lot. And between the 3, I would have to say this Port Washington location really needs to step up their customer service skills.But overall I am satisfied with the store and what they offer... Especially Mr Stewart 😂 the plumbing God, as I lovingly and jokingly refer to him.If you ever need something for plumbing thats the guy to ask for...🎯👍🏾
My husband and I walked in the store and one of the employees started arguing with another employee. I understand that situations occur and sometimes require immediate attention depending on the situation but that type of behavior was very distasteful in front of customers. Customer service is very important in businesses like home depot because the size of the store alone can be intimidating. Employees should be ready to answer questions and assist their customers instead of arguing with each other.

If I had the option to give them 0 stars I definitely would. I ordered a grill seeing that it was two on hand. I was told hours later that they didnt have the grill on hand. Now I have to go to another store to find it. On top of all that I have to wait for a refund.
I was in Home Depot today to buy Paper towel, as I enter the store I notice a sign for Bonnie Planets, 3 for $12.00, so I put 3 in my cart. When I got to the check out I said to the person checking me out, this is a good deal. The check out person said, the planets are $9.98 each, I said the sign say 3 for $12.After 45 minutes of noise I was told ok, let her have them and get her out the store. What kind of business is this. The person in charge or manager are all unprofessioal.I will never shop at this Home Depot on Port Washington Rd again.
Called tool rental and the woman working on 8/10/21 hung up on me twice while I was asking a question. Overall the store is messy and staff have 50/50 been either helpful or completely indifferent/unknowledgeable.

Not the best Home Depot ever, but certainly not a bad one. But it’s still suffers from the fatal fault of being a big box home improvement store. If only they could figure out how to combine Ace and Home Depot.
As usual, HD has exactly what Im looking for, when I need it! The only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is the lack of assistance from the relatively few associates! Having opened this store, I know what HD service is supposed to be. I certainly have no idea what has happened to their philosophy, but its dissppointing at best. Still, if you know what you need, you should be able to find it here.
Don’t expect any help from any of the employees. Every time I come here and need assistance, I have to find an employee, then they say they’ll call someone to help, and nobody comes. I have to ask multiple people multiple times every time!!!
This particular location is poorly managed and has been for years. Staff are scarce and not especially helpful. Equipment breaks and is never fixed... Last I checked their pipe threading machine had been out of order for years. I still go here all the time because theyre close and they have a great selection, but do not go expecting great service.

Prices have gone up but overall, I am a satisfied customer. Service was especially good during the earlier days of the pandemic. 😉

Okay so we ordered flooring, took about 10 days to arrive at the store. We did a curbside pick up, which was not the best thing to do. Two young girls brought the flooring out in a shopping cart standing on the ends instead of flat. The boxes were too heavy for the shopping cart so of course the cart fell over and when we got home four of the boxes of flooring were broken. We called the store and they are going to order four replacement boxes which will take another week. Needless to say we are not happy campers! Two weeks later still no replacement, then three boxes came in and they never notified us, I had called and the guy said they’ve been there for 3 days but are still waiting for the 4th box. We went to pick up the three so we could at least start installing them. There are broken pieces in the three boxes that we are going to have to return too. As of today still no news on the last box and when it’s coming in. So a month and a half later, still waiting. We will never go to this Home Depot again and I’d advise others not to buy flooring from them.

LOL, the worst home depot ever experienced asking for a tired repair kit. The lady said at 17 automobiles, and she stands right at 17 dont even help me to find where there the tire repair kit. Waste my time for 10 min looking for the tire repair kit. I grab the pad repair without the tools tried to ask nicely can you tell me where I can find the tools to use with these pads? She said probably a different store, lol.
This is an okay store, and to a great extent, a Home Depot is a Home Depot, but the lack of benches outside makes waiting for a ride share awkward and uncomfortable.
Ugh! They didnt have what I needed but that wasnt the problem, its the horrible customer service by these females. She refuses to look up if another location had what I needed. I spent a whole 45 minutes in there trying to get this ghetto talking girl to do her job. It was exhausting. Went to Ace hardware and it was less stressful. Easy breezy, in and out.

Most of the employees at the front end really try to help you. However, the store needs to better train its staff. I bought a washing machine/dryer combo and I was told that I wouldnt need to buy a stacking kit. Guess what? When a team came to my home to do the installation they said they wouldnt install the combo without the kit. Then, I needed to go back to the store, buy the stacking kit and wait another week. Also, an additional part I needed were not correctly placed in the inventory but a staff member was able to find it for me somehow. In a nutshell, the store seems to need better managerial staff and/or IT system and/or training.
By far the worst Home Depot I know. This store is 1.5 miles from my home and so I have been a customer in one form or another for all this time. The store is a mess, the staff are 80% indifferent, the things they sell are often well below expectation. Last two experiences - purchased a brand name front door, wanted to pay for installation (they contract that out) - installer wasnt contacted for two weeks, when they finally contacted me took a bunch of nonsense measurements that no one could decipher. Staff said that they would send a second installer, and I didnt hear anything more from them despite two follow-up calls. Second experience, drop by in early May to get some manure for the garden. Pick up 15 bags and put them on a cart. Check out in garden area is closed. So the expectation is that I would drag the heavy cart from one end of the stor to the other and then all the way back across the carpark (I packed right outside the garden center because I knew the purchase would be heavy). I ask someone in the garden center if I can check out at the garden center - no was the answer youll need to go to the registers at the other end of the store. I insist (nicely), so she sets off to find someone. After 20 mins I go in to find out what is happening. The girl I spoke to is busy with something else. I inquire at the customer service desk and I get a slightly indignant no. I explain that it is Spring and that they have 20 or so customers in the Garden Center and it would make money to prioritize that area. The person at the customer service desk gravitates back to her phone and proceeds to ignore my insights. I walk out vowing never to return.....Its really, really, really a shoddy store run by people who have no interest in the store being a resource for anyone.

This home depot never has what they say will in stock. Sucks driving across town too Lowes but at least I know theyll have what they say they will. Dont waste your time.
Found everything I needed except outside window ac cover
Had to get some snow melt. Plenty in stock. There wasnt any propane but I found some help and she got it out very quickly. Cashier got me out fast. With all this snow, I expected there to be some issues but I am happy to say there were none.

Staff has very little knowledge. They will pass by you without asking if there is anything you need help with. When you do ask youll wait 20 minutes for someone to come. Definitely recommend you go to another Home Depot for your shopping.

Ordered an item and it was canceled because their pickers were unable to get one of the 4 available. When I came in to pick up counter women said we had to go to return counter, return counter said no the pick up counter, lets just say the organization there was non existent. But the return desk guy was able to find my order so that was the saving grace. But if you want to order o line and pick up in store pick a different location.Also just because you bought something online doesnt mean that the pickers will get it for you intime. So if it is important dont count on them having your item in stocks. This goes for all orders.

A lot of their plants were really dry or had diseases. And they were overpriced.I would not recommend going here even for small house plants.
Since the pandemic has been in play, it is nice being able to order online and then just run to the store and pick up the item at customer service, in a locker, or have them bring it to the car. And the prices have been good.
Looking for a washer. Had questions. Six HD employees standing together laughing and joking, not one asked me if I needed something or had questions. Yep, I could have approached them with my questions but not engaging a customer in a high dollar item section of the store is amateur and irresponsible. So I decided to go to Best Buy instead. Don’t know who trains these employees but that person should be fired.
No problems on this trip, most employees are knowledgeable and helpful. Very rarely we get an employee who has know idea where they work..
Facilities was a mess. Staff was not knowledgeable. Very disappointed.

At this location, I am always able to find what Im looking for. Its never too crowded and normally clear in order to navigate through the store. I would say the draw back would be the ability to obtain customer service in certain areas. There seems to never be any available assists on the floor when it comes to needing assistance in the hardware department. I have been to this location for weather stripping, keys, cabinet hardware, and other items you would look for in the hardware department, but always unable to find assistance. I could go to the counter to request help and wait, but if you are on a time crunch you would probably browse aisle to aisle to get in and out. Other than that, this store is great.
Placed a curbside pickup order. About $35 worth of wood was missing from the order. The email said part of my order was ready, so I assumed they needed me to come back again, or were going to ship it. The wood was apparently supposed to be part of the pickup order. Customer service desk did not pick up the phone after calling multiple times over a span of days. Called the main Home Depot hotline, but all they could do is transfer me to the store to listen to the holding song for an hour. So Im out $35 for nothing. The store is probably fine if you want to go inside and get COVID, but given their disregard of curbside pickup Im not visiting this store again. -$35 out of 5 stars
Manager and clerk were very nice and helpful.
Most of the people are friendly, except a blond young lady from flooring. Very unprofessional and apparently select which customer she wants to help. I was standing waiting for her help after she finish with another customer. She gets up and walk away for a while. Returned and I was still there. Still no help. A gentle man from appliances, a young lady and a young man (Antonio) offer to help, find a fork lift, and bring the pallet of ceramic tiles. Hopefully life give her a bad lesson in the near future.
This place is always good wen you actually need something for your house but sometimes they dont have what you need but other than that its good
