Good luck trying to get someone to fill your prescription here. I used to use Walgreens all the time, until I moved here. But after dealing with this pharmacy I am taking my business elsewhere.Never answers the phone, always a line, and the staff is incompetent. If you have time to waste and hate yourself, this is the place for you.

There is something seriously wrong with the pharmacy at this Walgreens. It’s never without a line ten people deep and it takes ten minutes for the simplest of tasks to be done. Every other customer leaves irate and they never stock anything you need. Can corporate come audit this store? It’s a disaster.

This is the worst pharmacy Ive ever been to. I thought the 3rd st., San Rafael location was bad, but this one is even worse. I recently switched to this pharmacy because it was closer to where I live. They almost always take several days to fill a prescription even though it says it will be ready sooner. Sometimes it doesnt even get filled, it just says pending for days or weeks and I have to call to remind them to fill it. Calling and trying to speak to someone live is awful too, they end up putting me on hold over and over. The drive thru is a nightmare. Ive only used the drive thru a couple times and both times I had to wait over 30 minutes. Several cars in front of me and when it was my turn I was ignored for a very long time. I used to use the Walgreens on Northgate in San Rafael and they are excellent compared to this Walgreens. As a matter of fact, Im going to start using that one again, its worth the drive and better than just sitting in my car waiting for who knows how long.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. There is always a line no matter what time of the day or night and the drive thru is a nightmare as well. Even when I went for a flu shot at my designated appointment time I had to wait 20 minutes. The staff is completely unapologetic about the long wait times. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs!

Truly the worst pharmacy in the Bay Area. Always understaffed. No prescription has ever been filled on time or with the right amounts. If anything is wrong (and it always is), they keep picking up and putting you on hold (FOR AN HOUR). Ive been in the pharmacy where the phone continues to ring while staff mill around. Moving my business to CVS.

Malena, an employee at this location was extremely rude and disrespectful to me today. I cant imagine being so condescending and disrespectful to a customer, especially after they in fact were correct on an issue that I claimed they were wrong about. Im not sure if it boiled down to lack of initiative, not knowing how to use the cash register adequately, or incompetence, but.... she should not be in a public facing position. She represents Walgreens Mill Valley horribly.

Seems to represent what a Walgreens is ….has all the items one need from a convenience store … plenty of parking

Shout out to Christopher at the pharmacy who was a huge help with tracking down my prescription in New York and transferring it over. The other person at the pharmacy was also very kind when I went to pick it up. They are busy but committed and helpful. Thank you for a nice pharmacy experience!

Wow the pharmacy here is a disaster. I’ve never seen an entire team so bumfuzzled.

Unbelievably slow! 30 min to pick up filled prescription. Awful awful. Only one person working at a window to service both line of walk ins and drive through. They are very understaffed.

Super friendly at pharmacy and they try there best to be fast but be prepared because remember they were the only place for a long time to have the vaccine for months in Marin so they expect some delays

They LOST my Covid test sample and results and I’m traveling tomorrow. They weren’t helpful whatsoever and we had to call the lab. Pharmacist was rude and put us on hold every time we tried to ask questions.

Never use this pharmacy for important prescriptions.. when to pick up my post surgery / discharge meds days ahead of my surgery, and they were not able to find the bag with the pills and this not being able to give me my meds and was told I should come days later, which would actually be the day of the surgery to get it - which I obviously I cannot walk to a store after general anesthesia.So even the staff was nice and understanding, I still did not get my pills, due to someone’s negligence

I hate leaving negative reviews but given the nature of the business, it seems important that people know what they’re getting into here. That prescription you need as part of your hospital discharge? Hope you’re okay with not being able to get until 5 days later. Calling doesn’t help, bc whether you’re a patient or the prescribing doctor they just leave you on hold until the line cuts after 10-15 min, over and over again

Worst and rudest customer service ever. I absolutely hate that this is the only pharmacy near me, it is THE WORST. There is no option for no stars otherwise I would have chosen that.

No bathroom. This is a national corporation that has no care in serving the public. Pushing opioid and cigarettes but my little girl cant use their bathroom.

Their bathrooms are closed...theyd rather you urinate on their trees just outside their building.

Only Walgreens for miles...The Cosmetic Dept has been give a face lift and has really extensive selections of all kinds of products - great prices.I was scouring the myriad Cold medicines - daunted by the wide variety of products and the nicest man ( maybe the manager) helped me locate the exact item I need.that was Great!Will admit, we pop in for a pint ice cream- very good selection. And we like all holiday Cards, and misc holiday items.Fact: CVS has the Highest prices - and, Walgreens rocks!

This was an unparalleled 3rd world experience! Cant believe that this is Mill Valley Walgreens. I have Never met such a blunt and disrespectful pharmacist before. His entitled tone of voice was simply unheard of. It was like we, who dont understand his busy and difficult life have to bow down and pray for his services. That was with every client! His graceful manners were slowly crafted by years of disappointment and resentment. For 40 min I had to watch this Circus. There were people with sick kids waiting in line for his attention. He said ”We dont pick up the phone” multiple times. The longer the line the more he was dragging his feet and stumbling like a toddler. No one else in line, I’m the only person at the pharmacy at 8:45 AM and there are 3 staff behind the counter yet I have been here for 30 minutes waiting for them to figure out how to administer a flu shot. Every time I come here it is a horrible experience, the incompetence of the staff is mind boggling.

Sadly, I have to join the crowd on this one. Yesterday, I drove to Walgreens to buy nail polish. There were rows and rows of prices saying $2.49 and $4.29. Hadnt bought any in years, and last I remember, I was paying way below that, so thought this was an okay deal with inflation. Got up to pay in the front and they had one guy. Poor guy. Courteous and helpful but totally overwhelmed. At least 8 people in line, and more being added as we waited. He tried to call for help but the PA wasnt working. Almost 30 minutes later, another person came to help, and she rang me up. What shouldve been about $7 (I had 2) rang up $16! I told her it was wrong and would show her the tags. She walked to the back and then pointed out that only the specific colors were those prices (aka every other one, but not the ones I picked). Seriously? I stood in line for 30 minutes and walked out with nothing. She held up the rest of the people in line rather than just honor the poorly marked items. Very deceptive pricing! Two stars only because of the nice guy working his butt off.

Not only were they slow. It took three tries before my Mom’s prescription was filled correctly. They actually sent her home twice with the wrong meds.

The pharmacy here is terrible. I never have my prescription on time. Even had it under the wrong name before. 2 stars because I live close by and the rest of the store is convenient.

Bought a product here. Opened it and the tube was literally empty. Store refused to give me an exchange. NICE.

Terrible experience. Not very polite people at all. Really disrespectful for a national chain. Called in the prescription in the morning and at 6.30 pm still not ready and they feel like that is not a problem at all and they don’t think they should be questioned at all. Choose some one else.

Sometimes I am in the area and need to stop here. I just wonder what all the motorists are in such a hurry for. DANGEROUS

Service is lame

This is the worst Walgreens Ive ever been to. The pharmacy never has orders ready on time, and almost always messes up my prescriptions. Very frustrating. I wouldnt come here except that there arent any other walgreens in the area. In their defense, I think the pharmacy is really understaffed, but its just ridiculous.

The guy Named Wame was very awesome. So awesome his name should be awesome.

My experiences over the past few months have been poor, both in Mill Valley and Delray Beach. Doctors cannot call in refill requests, pharmacists do not answer their phone, people waiting at the counter are ignored. Tonight added another poor performance. If you go on the website for the Walgreens on Shoreline in Mill Valley CA, you will see in the special box on the right that the closing time is 10 pm. So, when you arrive at 9:45 to pick up a new prescription, you find the pharmacy closed, but the real Walgreens business, the candy and cosmetic shop, open. The counter clerk then tells you the closing hour for the pharmacy is posted on our front door. Very helpful after driving 20 minutes. Walgreens should be more open about the nature of their business, they are a glorified 7-11 with a small drugstore in the back.

In an industry that survives despite being disorganized and that makes the post office look like great communicators, this pharmacy is the WORST. Go anywhere else if you care about your sanity.

The pharmacy workers gab and chew gum. 90 minutes to fill a prescription? Theres no one here? But given no competing pharmacy, this is what happens.
