You have made my day. The lift you installed to replace stairs at my back door works beautifully. Not only does it work instead of stairs, but also for my wheelchair access. I am more than pleased at how clean your workman left the area, and the short amount of time it took to install. He was very knowledgeable about the lift, and especially good at teaching us how to use it. I would recommend western chairlift without hesitation.
Kevin was a peach to work with! He was quick to respond to inquiries and was willing to drive quite a way to measure my home for stair lifts. We opted for refurbished stair lifts, they were almost like new (just over a year old and still well under warranty). In 24 hours he came and installed the lifts and then coached us how to operate both of them and stay safe. He was kind, considerate, and fast. Kevin even took time to give us ideas on transferring to the lifts from a wheel chair and options of other mobility access products which might help. It should be noted that NEVER once did he say “rent or buy this other product from me.” On the contrary, he gave us ideas of where we could find quality products cheaply on line or at other venues which might work for us. Kevin made it possible for me to find freedom while my leg heals. Thank YOU!
Thank you Kevin for your help and expertise in creating a way to put a stair lift on my garage steps. Other companies said it could not be done but you were able to build what was needed. You were very professional and personal in your work and I am so grateful I phoned your company. You worked hard installing the lift and it works great. I will be sure to pass the good word along and I will recommend you to all. You run an up scale business. If you need me as a referral, please feel free to have anyone phone me with their questions about your service.
The most amazing customer service and problem solving skills. We had a situation that would have thrown any other company into a tailspin. Western Stairlifts solves the problem, did it with a smile, and obits less then the competition. I could not recommend this company more. I am not one to leave reviews but they hands down deserve all the accolades possible! Highly recommended
When a dear friend was in need of a walk in tub as a requirement to return home following an extended hospital and rehab stay, Kevin and Western Stairlifts came to the rescue. Within one week, Kevins son took care of removing the old tub, installed the necessary plumbing/electrical, new framing, new tile, everything needed for my friend to have a beautiful new walk in tub with jets. The new tub allowed my friend to relax and relieve back pain that was a constant companion. Unfortunately, she has now passed away. Her last weeks were greatly eased by using the tub. Do not hesitate to call Keith when you need help with equipment that will allow someone you love to stay living at home. Investing in equipment to ease someones suffering or improve independence is always a good investment, no matter how long it gets used. Many thanks to Keith and son for a wonderful job. I will not hesitate to refer friends or use your services in the future.
I purchased a Go Go Cart from Mr. Hill June 20, 2016 that previously belonged to his father. Ive had problems with it. The second man who serviced it charged us $313.00 for changing the battery but the cart still doesnt work. My husband and I called him about the failed repair and he initially promised to help, but he didnt and now he wont accept our calls. I feel badly that he wont take his fathers cart back and give us at least a partial refund because Ive had it nearly 3 years. I need the money the repairman charged us so I can pay someone else to fix it. Im handicapped now and need the cart to get around. I am very disappointed about my experience and want others to be forewarned when dealing with him!
My grandma has had too many problems with this companies service. Her stairlift constantly breaks, they will come out and fix it then in breaks again in a month or two. Each time they come out they charge her $95 even for the one time that they just had to flip a switch which they could have had her do over the phone. She now has a broken stairlift and is stuck upstairs and we are trying to find someone that can actually fix it.Kevin did come out the next day and fixed the stairlift. I will evaluate this review in a couple of months if the lift continues to work as she has had it working 1-2 months before.Update - The stairlift has been working well now and Kevin keeps checking to make sure everything is still going great.
I had purchased a used Harmar stair lift from a friend who had it in the home theyd purchased.I sold it at cost to a friend who needed it in their home, but I had lost one of the white nylon runners that the chair used to climb. I installed it, but it was not safe to operate as it could fall off the track.I contacted Harmar, who would not sell me the piece. I contacted the distributors listed on their website and none of them claimed to carry Harmar products. Finally after emailing and calling a few people, Western Stairlifts returned my call and offered to give me the part that I needed. If I paid for shipping, they would mail it to me. I was driving down to SLC the following day, so the man I spoke with left it out front for me.It was just what I needed, and he did not need to do that at all. He didnt even charge me for it.What honorable folks. I dont have a need for their services, but I will definitely refer others to them who do.
