I have been using Tanner Glass and Hardware for years on our projects. As a custom home builder I appreciate the knowledge and expertise from everyone who works there. Their customer service has always been top notch and fast! I would recommend Tanner Glass and Hardware to anyone!

I could not be happier with the service I received from Tanner Glass. We recently remodeled our master bathroom and used them for a large mirror and our shower door. The company who did our countertops and backsplash screwed up on something that couldnt be fixed and it impacted the mirror in a major way. I worked with Scott at Tanner and he was so fabulous! He did everything he could to minimize the problem caused by the other company and came back to our house multiple times in order to get different measurements because I had to keep changing the design plan due to the backsplash error. He was always so nice and accommodating. The job was definitely complicated and they executed both the mirror and the shower door beautifully. I will definitely be using them again in the future when the need arises. Great service and product.

Visited Tanner Glass & Hardware for the first time on Friday. Was pleasantly surprised at the variety of different products and hardware they carry. Great showroom with lots of examples to get ideas. Oh and they had the special two sided foam tape I needed for my project. Great Job Tanner. I will keep you in mind for my next project!

Beware! Tanner Glass says they will NOT warranty a product unless they installed it. I had the plastic on my shower door sweep separate after just 6 months of light use. Instead of easily replacing the defective part for which I had paid $20, and probably cost 50 cents to manufacture, they had three people come out and stand in a line in front of me and tell me that they would kindly sell me another one for just $20, now that they had raised the price to $25.Wow, for a couple of dollars they could have made a customer happy, instead of one who now tells the whole world on the Internet how Tanner doesnt stand behind what they sell.Additional Comment:The Tanner owner replied to my previous complaint with some interesting comments:I am more than willing to replace the sweep for you if you want but unfortunately, like most glass companies, we have made it a policy to not warranty sweeps as a general rule. Again, my sincerest apologies and I wish you peace and happiness.So because I tell the world about this policy, NOW they say they WILL replace it. But they didnt reach out to me and offer to mail me one. I have to drive back in a third time and pick up a part that costs them so little? Why doesnt a reputable company already warranty sweeps that cost them so little, BEFORE customers complain?They give their sincerest apologies but no action to back up their words. If they really wish their customers peace and happiness as they wrote, dont you think they would warranty such an inexpensive part? So I guess peace and happiness are empty words to just make them sound sincere and contrite.And if this small part fails so much that they dont want to guarantee them, why dont they help their customers be peaceful and happy by designing a more durable part?

The knowledge and expertise of this shop is like no other. Not only do they always have lots of options for what I’m looking for but also make great suggestions on how to maybe do it better. Saving me both time and money in the long run. I really appreciate the lengths they go to to make my job easier with my clients and friends.

I had a small mirror break and brought it in to see what they could do. In 5 minutes they cut a mirror to fit it perfectly - and didnt charge me!! Great customer service!!

I had a shower door installed and my wife and I loved it. There was an issue with some water leakage after installation. Scott A. and the team at Tanner Glass worked on the problem until it was resolved. The shower doors are wonderful and their efforts in resolving the issue was above and beyond.We are doing some additional remodeling at our home and will definitely use Scott and the team at Tanner Glass.

So I called before I drove to their showroom to make sure they had what I was looking for! I said I was looking for knobs that go on glass shower doors! The women who answered the phone said they have SOOOO MANY different styles to shop from! When I got there it was a totally different story! I was shown ONE!!!!! ONE KNOB and the girl said they had none in stock! I thought maybe she misunderstood want I was looking for, not the same exact style. But no she understood she said! Before you drive over make sure you ask the name and position of the person on the phone so you don’t go through what I just had to deal with! Needles to say I was NOT happy! I hate dealing with people that don’t know their product! 😡

This Company did a large custom Store front job for me. I had a huge glass panel fail and break 2 weeks after the install. They replaced the glass quickly and with no extra charge. INTEGRITY and QUALITY workmanship.

Tanner Glass has performed 3 different jobs for me, both personally and professionally. They supplied and installed custom mirrors and a frame less glass tub/shower surround for the en suite master bath in our home and, more recently, Tanner Glass replaced a reflective glass window at our hardwood flooring show room as well as designing, building and performing the custom installation of a store front that created a display suite for our new line of Vintage architectural wood products in a space that was formerly a breezeway between our shop and showroom. Worst costumer serviceThey are not able to give you a time frame for pick up so you can’t plan your self ahead. I called like 3 times to know when and what time would be ready but All they could say is that they will call you when is ready.The 3-5 days. Became a week wait until they could give me a call that it was ready for pick up.If you don’t need the product with any urgency that might be a good place to go. Otherwise I do not recommend going there.

I loved working with Tanner Glass. They did such a good job at my workplace installing glass doors that I called them for replacement windows in my home. They were by far the least expensive bid but did not disappoint on the service they provided. I highly recommend them for glass needs of any kind.

I dd a full house remodel in Salt Lake and used Tanner for doors, shower glass, mirrors, door hardware, windows and closet systems. For 90% of the project they were great. However, on final inspection I was called for windows not meeting egress code (square footage for crawling out the window). The salesman claimed that the builder told him only one window in the basement needed to be egress, which I cant buy. Because it was a full remodel it had to go through city permit, and because of this every window in the basement was dug out, up-sized and new window well poured in concrete to meet egress code. After doing all that I cant believe he then said that only one new window would have to be egress. When the error was found the salesman told me he would work with me on the cost and offered to cover half (because he was still trying to blame the contractor). I paid half to get the windows in and when the job was done I was then told the owner didnt want to allow him to cover the other half and I was asked to pay the full amount. Basically I was stuck buying two sets of windows for the basement because this window company doesnt know codes. I will never be using them again. I remodel and sell about 1 house a year.

I needed a piece of table top glass for a writing desk. When I picked up the glass I was immediately impressed with how beautiful the piece of glass turned out to be, especially with the finely polished edges. I was extremely pleased. Tanner Glass was very professional and gave me a quote and projected day of completion right over the phone. Both were satisfactorily met.

Rhees and Logan put on booties before coming into my home on a snowy day without being asked, which I really appreciated. Without a doubt the worst customer service we have come across in a very long time. Their paperwork is scattered and the office staff is not well trained for the service industry. My wife and I would recommend not doing business with these folks. They were also very condensing to my wife when she was confused about the paperwork, when she didnt understand it, and when we tried to track them down they were defensive, unsympathetic and out to prove that they are right and we are wrong. Pretty unbelievable!

As an interior designer and contractor I use glass shops all the time, but due to terrible customer service, I havent used them since. They couldnt be bothered to put a mirror that I had them cut down for a client, on a delivery with a complete shower surround for the same client. I had to go out of my way to run down to their shop to pick up the mirror. I will never use them again!!!
