Curbside pickup is a joke. Please just go in and order. I sat in the curbside pickup for 20min even though the sign said call if we didnt receive our order after 3 min. The number to call wont even let you talk to an employee. I give it 2 stars because the employee looked genuinely apologetic when I finally walked in to get my order. The employee who helped me out to my car was very nice and polite. Im not one to complain but why offer curbside if you cant adhere to it. Food was good, service bad.
First the app is terrible. There is a menu but doesnt let you order. You have to go to locations then select the location to order from but no prompts from the menu that you have to go to locations. When I finally ordered and went to the location to pick up they didnt have my order and said I must have selected the wrong location. I went to my order history and confirmed I had the correct location. They wouldnt let me order at store. I had to do it through the app. After two trips to location still no order. Waste of time and gas and am severely dissatisfied.
After being rushed to order, me and my friend both received incorrect orders, my bagle sandwhich had bacon on it after I requested no meat and its even printed on the ticket. They also both had incorrect schmears. Our orders were not paid attention to. We paid for what we wanted, not what we got. Such a bummer.
I am not one to write reviews but, this as establishment was unprofessional and extremely disregarding of their mistakes. I went in and ordered one bagel and an orange juice. I waited 30 minutes for my order to come out while multiple people who arrived after me were served. After waiting the 30 minutes I voiced my concerns and let the cashier know I had an appointment I needed to get to in 15 minutes. After 15 minutes my order still had not come out. I then asked for a refund for my food and decided to go elsewhere. The manager Michael Butt came over to process the refund. I let him know I had been waiting for 45 minutes at this point and I was upset with their customer service. He did not say a word nor even offer to make my order real quickly. He took my card out of my hand and said “have a good one.” Such an unprofessional place. I will never be returning to that location.
I like their bagels, but I dont like the wait. I never order sandwiches or anything, its always a dozen bagels, not sliced. I shouldnt be forced to wait for these people ordering their nit-picky custom, slow to produce bagel sandwiches, when all that they have to do for me, is toss some bagels in a bag, and then let me on my way. There should be a separate line for special sandwich and coffee orders. The few times that they did allow me to move ahead of the people waiting for their sandwiches to be cooked, when my order was very quick to fullfil, I recieved all kinds of unwarranted, angry looks, when I moved ahead of the other people in the line. There needs to be some better organization between people like me, and the sandwich people, to keep things moving smoothly.
The service was mixed. When I ordered, they sounded like they had no clue what I was talking about, until I pointed it out on the menu. The Turkey sausage and cheddar was good, the almond butter was great. The mochas were good. The space is a little small and tight, but comfortable enough.
Unbelievable! This place used to be bad at any custom order (even the slightest change from their menu). No theyve regressed. A new manager took over maybe a year ago. Since then its become humorous to see what i get. I dont know why i waste my breath/time/money too tell them what Id like. Theyre going to make it the way they want to. Truly 4 out of my last 5 have been significantly screwed up! I keep trying them less & less. Complaining to management doesnt help. 15 minutes later, they have a reasonable chance of getting it right, but they simply dont change anything to correct their process. So its screwed up again next time. Simple alterations, care enough to get it right!!
The staff was slow, and the bagels were under stocked. Very dissatisfied with my service. I will not be coming back.
First off, kind of illegal to refuse cash payments. Second, I am pretty sure the bagelrito isnt supposed to be frozen in the middle.
The bagel was amazing, the hole to bread ratio was perfect and the spread was even but fair.
Terrible service. Out of almost all the bagels and there are only 2 people working. Both my wife and I had to change our original orders because they ran out of bagels. Waited over 45 min for our 2 sandwiches. I will be sure to drive out of my way to a different store because this store is ridiculous.Update: there were 3 damn hairs in my bagel sandwich. I also had to pull one out of my mouth.Update 2: my wife never got her bagel sandwich so we got a refund and left. Worst experience at a restaurant. Ever.
I didn’t realize they closed at 3, I went in right at 3. The lady who helped me was so kind and still let me order without making me feel like a burden. I know how frustrating it can be when customers come in at the time I did. I wish I had gotten her name- but she had glasses and was very sweet :)
I placed my order at 10:30 for two bagels and coffee. The workers told us that it may take some time as one of their toasters were broke. At 11:15 I finally asked for a refund, because not only were the bagels not ready, they were handing bagels to people who ordered after me, they didnt even get us coffee. While waiting for the refund to go through, the couple in line behind me mentioned they had a 20 min break before they needed to head out. I let them know to expect at least 30 minutes, and they left. Since I informed them of the time wait, the cashier then harshly chided me for turning away customers. This was my first Einstein Bros. Bagels experience, and it will be my last.
I go to lots of Einstein’s Bagel locations and this is the only one that is Slow AF, every time!!
I was hesitant to go here after reading the reviews but Im glad I did. It took a total of 4 minutes to walk in order the Sante Fe (delicious) and walk out. There people that helped me were very friendly and helpful. This was the best experience Ive had at ANY cafe type company.
The ladies here are so dang sweet and my bagels are always so perfect. I come here just about every day and they never dissappoint. Im going to be so sad when i have to move! Stay perfect you guys! -Jess

Employee Jesse I actually think he may be a manager has no class and thinks he’s above the world. He has no idea how to talk to people and instead of training employees to be better he talks down to them. I’ll never go back to this location which sucks because I’m a twice a week 2 bakers dozen customer. And the rest of the employees are so respectful. Those employees deserve to be treated better and I will be calling corporate to complain about this behavior as well. Uncalled for. If the employees won’t step up, I’ll help make their job better because it’s unexceptable and disgusting.
Definitely not the best Einsteins Ive been to. The lady behind the counter kept putting bagels through the slicer and launching them onto the floor and laughing about it. Big waste of food and money for the business. 3 people behind the counter and the service was still meh. Go to the one on Redwood theyre better.
This place is so wonky. The food is pretty good when it comes out as ordered, but usually everybody behind the counter seems confused and dont communicate well with each other. They tend to run out of a lot of stuff and forget your order while making it. Kind of weird. There are a lot of other strange things that seem they should be apparent. The plastic utensils are usually mixed and placed so that the end touching your food are touched by everyone before you. I wish there were more Einsteins close by. The food is good, but its kind of mind blowing how off kilter this place is run.

Worst experience of my life! First I have to wait forever because the girl they are training is the person the chose to run the morning rush order line. But that wasnt even the upsetting part. I get it, people need to learn and that takes time. But then they move her to the payment register and I try to add some cookies and snacks for my dogs. As the trainee was getting my cookies the rude woman who replaced the trainee taking orders good over to take my payment. I wasnt handed my dog treats or my coffee cup that I asked for so I hovered by the counter. Finally I just grabbed my dog treats and asked someone for my coffee cup. Then the rude woman yells out:THE DOG BAGELS?Me - Yes?YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM THEYRE NOT FREE!Me - I thought I did, but ok heres my card.*Rude stare and ridiculous attutude*I finally get my food leave after being embarrassed and notice that the trainee didnt include the dog treats or my coffee into my order before the rude woman rushed in to hurry me out of the line and take my payment. So maybe if you would calm down and breathe your fellow employees could finish an order correctly and then you wouldnt need to embarrass a paying customer who comes to your establishment every weekend over a mistake on the part of the person taking my order. So rude and ridiculous over a simple mistake that wasnt even my fault. I didnt scream at you when you over charged me last weekend. I just calmly asked for a refund. Like a grown up. Then I look at my bagel and its wrong. Huh? I wonder if I should go back at scream at your employees the way they scream at their customers. I will never be back.

Not a great location. Nearly all Einsteins have gone down hill. Cant seem to keep employees and mistakes happen almost everytime we get food here and other locations.
First of all, Have u ever heard of an Einsteins running out of dough? whipped cream?cheese? Only 7 different bagels available! Coffee gross! This is obviously a management issue. If I were corporate I would be looking at these reviews and take action! U have a Starbucks next door. Save ur money for Starbucks or another Einsteins location. This one needs help. Managers just standing around doin nothing here. I visited here around 12:30pm. Oh the music is fine if u were born in the 1940s.
The bagel breakfast sandwich was fresh but not they were not very generous with their ham or egg. The think swiss cheese slice wasnt even melted and the egg was as thin as a pancake. I think they might have put one egg on the two bagel breakfast sandwiches to save themselves time? The whole place was filthy! Almost every table was dirty and the floor needed to be swept and mopped. We were the only people in there so Im not sure what the staff was doing back in the kitchen that was more important than cleaning the place up. Nothing turns me off more than a dirty restaurant. I will not go back here again.
This is the worst place ever. Employee are so dump and everybody charge different prices. It seems they are so angry and forced to work at this place. I ordered and had to leave me order because the kids are ass holes. I do not know how they still in business. Additionally the slowest service. For a basic bagel you would wait 5-10 minutes.

Wish I could give this place negative 10 stars. The employees are rude as hell and you will wait 30+ minutes for a bagel. If your damn toaster is broken then GET ANOTHER ONE- this is basically the only thing you do! Get it together. So ridiculous. I will go to the one in Holladay from now on. Will not be back!

We come here often but things are getting worse and worse. This is supposed to be a coffee place. The last 2 times my decaf as cold. This time there was no decaf nor was there any medium coffee. When I went to the front to tell them, they were talking and playing in the back area and it took several minutes to get their attention. Grrrrr

However, the staff is unfriendly, awkward, and on the verge of being rude.I think I will not be going back to this location.Also, I tried calling the location for several minutes and no one would answer the phone. When I decided to just drive over and order, I found there was hardly in the store - no reason why they werent answering the phone.
They always have tasty bagels and hot coffee. I prefer coming here over Starbucks.

Cottonwood Heights location - This is the slowest location I have ever been to. Weekday mornings are embarassing. I am not speaking of one incident either. I have let this build over a minimum of 10 instances. 7am -830am they have maybe 2 front counter people, this is in the heart of a business disctrict. It is unacceptable that they are unable and incapable of handling the volume that the location receives. If that is not enough clear direction is not handled well. There is at least one young lady that appears as if she has no interest in even being there. Extremely poor service.

Somehow, with twice the staff of other Einsteins (Taylorsville specifically), this location servers a little less than one third the number of customers per minutes. The staff is slow and listless, overall, with one or sometimes two people carrying the load. And I have yet to arrive here and find any coffee left aside from the dark roast and decaf.It is worth it to drive or to the Taylorsville or Brickyard locations. You will save time, have fewer screwups, and a more pleasant experience.

Super slow service. I waited 20 minutes to get one bagel to-go. The next visit they were out of everything (like usual) and the customer service was terrible (again, like usual). The girl taking orders told my husband to move and let others order until he had made up his mind. Then when he was ready she ignored him and kept motioning other people to step up to the counter in front of him. Never coming back to this location. Its worth it to drive to another one.

Einstein used to be my favorite breakfast place and a crucial part of my tribes pre-snowboarding ritual.However, this location has single handedly turned me from a huge fan of Einsteins, to actively sharing my disdain for the company as a whole and especially this horrible location and its incompetent staff.First, I am a vegetarian. I dont eat meat. How hard is it to get a Bacon, Egg, & Spinach Panini without Bacon. I explain to multiple people behind the counter that I dont want bacon. I verify that they put it into the computer as such. . .. . and yet, for the past 5 times in a row, they give me bacon. Not only are they repeatedly unable to get my order right, the price is different almost every time. Some times they charge me extra for making changes. Some times they dont.I would pay $8.00 to get my Panini without Bacon.So. . . I will no longer wait in line, watching incompetent employees scramble to do the most simple of tasks. I will take my business elsewhere and change my pre-snowboarding ritual to include a place that can at minimum give the customer what they pay for.

They close at 3 not 4pm like Google times suggest. Either way we were the only customers in there to order some coffee 20 minutes to close and they said they couldnt sell us any coffee. So we next door to Starbucks where maybe 25 other customers were and got our coffee.

Worst staff ever. They lack the competence of courtesy and often confuse customers orders or get them wrong. They also somehow take longer than 5 minutes to slice and shmear a bagel. With 5 people behind the counter, the provide the workforce of 2. Work ethics do not exist here.

Update - last visit was terrible. We had to wait 15 minutes for bagels to be resupplied..? Then the guy who took the order seemed like he was struggling to stay conscious, and of course messed up our order. No lids, no ice, no label on the mystery peach(?) tea, and the bagel sandwich looked like it was sat on.
Sold fountain drinks they didn’t have. Couldn’t find orders placed online. Very poorly managed
