They were really nice, did a great job, and a quick turnaround time, too. I really like the app that they utilize to provide you with a Health Status of your car, explaining the issues and providing images for the issues they see. As someone who is not intimately familiar with the inner workings of a car, its helpful to be able to see and understand what the issues are. I look forward to working with them for future services.

Easily the best automotive service company Ive used in my 40 years on this earth. I wasnt a fan of the wait (it took a week to get my car in), but they let me know beforehand so it wasnt a surprise. Definitely worth it, and they even helped me work with my warranty company to get $750 knocked off my bill! I doubt Ill ever take my car anywhere else ever again.

I was stranded by a broken water pump. Triple A towed me to Precision Auto and they had it fixed in one day. Also, another problem revealed itself immediately - a bad bearing. They had that detected and changed it out in moments and I was on my way. And they charged a very reasonable price. They are courteous, honest and professional.I should mention that my car is a beloved 21-year old Jeep Cherokee. Im picky as to who does repair and maintenance work on her. I wouldnt use anyone else if I lived in the area. I faced a 600-mile journey ahead, and Celeste purred like a Rolls Royce all the way. Thank you Precision, Kevin and Terrance. Made a few calls around the valley to get my ac compressor replaced. These guys didn’t try to up sale on repairs that weren’t needed. They also got me in super fast and stayed late to get the repair completed for me. For being a 1st time customer I felt like I had been bringing my vehicle to them for years. And now I will. Prices were fair and I was treated great. Will recommend to anyone needing repairs done in the future.

The AC on my 2018 Chevrolet died just weeks after passing the warranty period. Since I was out of warranty and generally prefer the value that independent auto shops offer, I went on a google search and discovered Precision Automotive. They did a great job in diagnosing the root cause, got me a quote for the repair, and got me taken care of in no time at all. We had to wait over the weekend because we were waiting on some parts, but thats beyond their control. They scheduled me promptly for a follow up and exceeded every deadline and expectation. Not only that, but every single employee is personable, polite, and respectful. I am really happy to have found a good and honest shop that is capable of fixing things properly and backing their repairs with a warranty. I highly recommend them.

My car has been sitting at Preciaion Auto for 3 weeks and they still havent done a diagnostic and called back. Ive called and been made promises that the diagnosis would be done by the middle of the week, 2 weeks ago. Starting to wonder how long its going to take to fix it when they finally decide to work on my car. I will never bring another car to this business ever again.**This is going on week 3 and the car is under someone elses name. I DO have the right business and the car is under someone elses info.**

This is one of the cleanest shops Ive been to and the service was excellent. The pricing was reasonable as well. Id highly recommend this shop for your automotive repair and maintenance needs. I docked a star because even though I had an appointment and I was the only person waiting, it took 80 minutes to do an oil change, along with state inspection/emmissions. Since I was the only one there and was on time for my appointment, I should have been in and out in less than 30 minutes. I worry if you go when theres a crowd you could be there for 3 or 4 hours for a routine service. Otherwise, I left a satisfied customer and will definitely go back.

How patient the staff is. You call and they tell exactly where they are in fixing your vehicle. Even if you call them several times in a day. HAHAHA!!! (Sorry about that)

Brought my car to precision to get a muffler delete. They had the car cool off and had custom piping done in about 3 hours which was amazing. On top of that the car itself sounds so nice.

All around great experience. I had a power steering failure that Chevy wanted over $800 for, PAoU estimated and charged me $628. Kevin, the service rep, was friendly and very easy to work with. Car is running great!LOANER CARS! They have loaner cars for when your vehicle has extended servicing, so nice when we all still have to work, no extra cost, no need for uber or a rental.Also, while waiting for a friend to pick me up after dropping my car off, the crew took lunch and asked me if I wanted some of what they were having. No other mechanic shop has ever been that friendly to me.

My car needed an expensive part and they spent a lot of time finding the best deal and saved me $600 off what they originally quoted. They have plenty of loaner cars, which is super convenient. Needed the bearing preload and backlash checked on my differential before I installed it, they did the job in a timely manner.

I never post reviews, but I know when it comes to mechanics people are typically wary. I certainly am. Thats why it took me a year to get my a/c fixed. I had replaced the compressor myself, but when I went to get the system charged I was told it wouldnt hold a vacuum. I was given an estimated repair cost of $1500-$1700 by both shops I took it to because they would have to take apart the entire system to find what they assumed was a clog or maybe a leak in the line. It sounded like a lot so I held off, but as the summer got hotter I caved and figured it was worth it, whatever the cost. I took it to Precision & they were able to look over the car within 10 minutes. They told me that the fuse for the A/C fan had popped. The 2 other shops were ready to tear apart the entire system, & charge me the labor, over a fuse! The total for the fuse, charging the system & labor was $120. I prefer to work on my own car when I can, but for everything else Im going to these guys.

Great group of people that do a quality job. Took my Pilot in for a (free) inspection and they walked me through any and all issues without any kind of pressure or dishonesty. They fixed my car quickly and offered a free loaner while it was in the shop. Would definitely use them again!

Asked them to replace a part and they did. Efficiently and quickly. Price of labor was excellent but parts were just a little expensive but still acceptable.Only bad thing was that when I pulled up I noticed steam coming from under the hood. I know a thing or two about cars, I am just handicapped now. But I popped the hood and looked around but I couldnt see anything. Fortunately right when I turned away I saw fluid drip from the top left heater hose. So I asked themto look at it please. When they finished changing the parts and zeroed out the module they brought the car back and said that the only leak he saw was a air conditioner line behind the radiator. So I had to take them out andshowthem the top left heaterhose leaking. Far away from the air conditioner line. They said they would order the parts for me and schedule me a time. But I have not heard back. Yet. Nowadays parts are easy because of the internet so I am not sure why they havent called me back or emailed me. I am afraid that its because I told them that I know how to find and price parts. And they make a lot of money on parts. Hopefully they will contact me with a reasonable price and Ill be happy to go back. I dont mind paying extra for parts. But I dont like getting ripped off either.Very friendly. Very professional. Good work. And a all around pleasant experience. The hose deal hopefully wont be a very big problem and no one is perfect. But they try and that is enough for me.Well the next day they had my hose and we set an appointment to get it done. They did a great job at a good price. I have been looking for a competent mechanic for over a month. I tried 5 before I went to Precision. I dont have to look anymore. They are the best place in the salt lake valley and I have lived here for 45 years.Do you want it done right with no hassles? Then this is the place for you. I’ve owned my car almost 3 years, and never had any issues; mechanical or otherwise, but when my steering system started acting up, I took my 2016 GMC Acadia to a number of different places to get looked at- consensus was: power steering pump. Not great, but could be worse, right?! Well, Precision was recommended by a business neighbor, and after speaking to them over the phone to coordinate a look at my vehicle, I was set on having them do the repair (First impression was: friendly, informative, and flexible). I took it in on Monday morning, and by Monday afternoon, I had a full inspection report text to me- long story short, none of the other 8 shops I had look at previously, picked up on the rack and pinion issue, but these guys did. They alerted me of some other issues I had going on, and got working on them. I wasn’t expecting such a disaster to come out of what I thought would be a half-day job, but Craig, Kevin, and Wayne took care of me. I can’t say enough great things about how thorough they were and now the black beauty is running like a spring chicken!! Thanks so much for ALL you did to help me, guys! I’ll be back!! (Hopefully not in the near future 😊)

Right off the bat they made me feel like I was their only customer. They didnt make me feel bad for wanting to do some of the work myself. There was a definite feeling of honest at their shop. Their shop was clean and there were so many little things that they did that really made my experience great. Thank you for being up to date with technology(texting and email). They were so fast. Even though I didnt take advantage of using your loner cars, it was nice to have that option.

These guys are great. Not only do they do quality work on whatever issue you have but they also look at other parts to see if any immediate issues are apparent. They will give suggestions on what maintenance should be done next and list it out in high priority to low. Even though I live on Lehi I will commute to them because I know they will do good work.

The best auto repair shop in the valley. I have been to many auto shops but this place was the only place I didnt feel that they tried to rip me off. They are very accurate about diagnosis and very knowledgeable and honest. Price is reasonable. They also let you drive their car so you dont need to bring 2 cars.

Overall this is a great shop they do great work for great prices and they value their customers by doing free checkups on your car if somethings up but I should say that last time I was at the shop they put in a new radiator on my bmw 330 and everything seemed fine and was until I had a engine light come on telling me there was no coolant in the motor after two days.. which was really frusturating and worrying ! but other than that mishap this shop has been great

Had to replace my AC compressor. Took my car in to get the AC recharged. They were great!! Been coming back ever since. I am always so impressed with this shop. They always take great care of me. Their staff is friendly and knowledgable. Recently I asked if they could do a 100,000-mile inspection which they did at no additional cost to me. They provided a link that allowed me to view the status of fluids, brakes, suspension, etc for my vehicle. They didnt hassle me or try to sell me on anything. They just let me know what will need attention soon and what will need to be replaced in the future and sent me on my way! I appreciate the ease of scheduling, comfortable waiting area, and no pushy salespeople! Thank you Precision!!

Probably the only mechanic place I have gone to that is on time with their appointments! Went there for the first time for an oil change. They didnt try to sell me anything else and gave me a great report on the rest of my vehicle. Really honest guys! I would recommend them to anyone else looking for a place to get work done on their cars. We will probably keep bringing our cars back to them for future work and maintenance.

Have been in a few times with a couple different cars, very friendly staff. They are up front and honest, they don’t charge you for unneeded repairs like a lot of places will. If you have any questions they are happy to help and if they don’t know they actually put in effort to find the correct answer. My last visit I was looking at a pretty pricey repair and in the end they cut the price down more than half of what I was going to pay. They do great work for a very fair price. I will continue to bring my vehicles here.

My fiancee and I were driving up north when we hear a loud scraping noise underneath her car. I quickly pulled off the freeway and found that the plastic undercarriage cover was dragging, but luckily Precision Automotive was right down the street! They took care of us and sent us on our way in less than 10 minutes. Highly recommended!

I had to call 4 shops before I could find one that would be able to take my high-top van, and Precision got me in the next day. When I suggested it might be brakes, they looked into it and determined that the breaks didn’t need to be worked on—knowing I can trust a shop to look after my interests and not take advantage earns all my business going forward. As a cherry on top, they had a loaner car for me to use in the meantime, and helped me with a temporary work-around so I could avoid a $1300 part replacement. I have nothing but great things to say.

I have been bringing my vehicles to Precision for about a year due to a referral from J & G Transmissions. They just fixed the A/C on my truck and did a great job. They treat me right, get me in and out quickly and do quality work. This is a breath of fresh air after a bad experience with my last mechanic.

By far the best customer service I have experienced with car repair. They are honest and fair with their prices. They provide you with a vehicle during the day while your car is being repaired. Finally they take the time to figure out what is wrong with your vehicle even if its a long process.

This is an incredible shop. They are honest, straight forward, transparent, and incredibly helpful. On more than on occasion, I have asked for their opinion on vehicle related questions/opinions, and they spend the time to discuss with me to help me understand. I consulted with them on the purchase of our newest (though used) car with not only the blue star check, but also what are the mostly likely issues with certain vehicles. They are very friendly, and a pleasure to work with.On top of everything else, they have a number of loaner cars that you can take for a repair taking longer. I have often left my car in the morning, and taken a loaner car to work, and then picked up my car that evening. I wish more people ran their businesses this way!!

The employees were very considerate and courteous to me. They made sure I understood everything that it was wrong with my vehicle and what they were going to do to it before they started working on it. And they gave me a loaner car which was fantastic since I had no other means to get back and forth. I also love the fact that they had a finance company called Snap that let me break the payments for the repairs up to help make it easier for me to pay for the work.

Precision Auto was awesome. I took my car in in the morning with no appointment. Kevin took it and told me theyd get it taken care of. Not too much longer they sent me an inspection of my car. That impressed me a lot. Bad news though, now I have more work needed done on my car, thats better then finding out later though. I got my car back later that day running like a champ. The honesty of Precision Automotive is incredible. They were replacing an engine in our car, and called saying the car would be ready the next day. An hour later, they called back to explain an incident had occurred and would make it right. They very well could have lied or been deceptive, but rather kept us informed! We are glad we found them and will keep going to them with all of our car troubles. They know what they’re doing and do it for the best price.

I was looking for a good place to take my car, after reading the reviews I was confident that this would be the place, oh boy I was so wrong, the same day I took it in, for whatever reason they were working on my car on the sidewalk (?), and someone hit my car, they told me that they would take care of it, 3 weeks later they said they didnt know what was wrong with the car and they wouldnt do it, long story short, 3 weeks in and they couldnt even adjust the belt and couldnt figure out the ac, they just crashed my car and it feels they didnt look into it, one star for ownership.
