Came to have remote car starter installed in my car and they did a good job and easy to work with. I called a couple places for a quote and their price was in line with other places. Came here because it was close.

THERES SOMETHING YOU SHOULD KNOW……I consider myself a pretty fair and open- minded person when it comes to reading and writing reviews when it comes to businesses and how they operate. There has been a couple of negative reviews (not left by me) but I’m here to set the record straight!!When I walked in, I was not treated as a gender (either male or female) rather I was treated as a PERSON :) Both the gentlemen were very professional, straightforward, precise and knowledgeable and I’m happy to say did not give me the run-around, try to haggle or increase sales with small talk. Very refreshing!They gave me an estimate after looking at my car and advised they could schedule my car fairly quickly, which is exactly what I was looking for, I didn’t want to have to wait weeks on end for install.After the install, I was expecting the cost to be a bit higher then what was quoted, as I understand sometimes there are situations that can’t be foreseen like extra parts or inaccessibility which creates extra time for labor. I was so shocked to find out that they were spot on with their estimate, and they did not try to charge me more. Fantastic business, amazing install!! Very, very cool people! I would very highly recommend!!!! Will be referring others to this shop :) Thank you!!!

I got a pair of twelve inch subs and a 1,000 watt amp from them as well and 4 new speakers. They worked great but wasn’t the power I was hoping for so I took it back told them what I was looking for and they hooked me up with an amazing set up. They are very well priced and and have excellent service. Any audio work that needs to be done I will strongly recommend this place to anyone!

Sold me an Amp, which I immediately had problems with. Went in to the store to ask about the Return policy after 4 days of messing with the connections.1st the guy at the desk was high as a kite on some kind of amphetamines, just stared blankly at me when I explained the problem I was having and finally told me to wait for his manager. Came back about an hour later to talk with the manager, was met with 4 incredibly high employees, manager included. He spent 20 minutes trying to convince me to keep his broken equipment before agreeing to the Return.Would not recommend.

I had them install subwoofers in my Volkswagen back in October of 2020. they mounted my amp to the subwoofer box and that didnt impress me very much since the vibrations from the box will mess with the amp. and the internals of it. 6 months later they just stopped working. I took it back into them to have them fixed. The way they did it was not very impressive. they drilled through the speaker terminal and wired them straight to the subs. they said that the speaker terminal melted. I dont know why they didnt just replace the terminal instead of doing all of that. when I was driving home from getting them fixed the speakers started popping it made songs unlistenable. they also accused me of tuning the amp and if I do it again my warranty will be voided. Ive read over the paper countless times and never once does it say anything about tuning your amp will void your warranty. I would never recommend this place to anyone! they have very questionable business ethics and are not very friendly people. I asked if there was anything I can do to prevent rattles and their response was what do you expect subs make vibrations nothing you can do please save your money and do not come to them for any audio upgrades. you will regret it in the long run like I am.

DONT RECOMMENDED- Called a day before to make a apt, 40 min away. Said yes come in the next day at 12. On the phone I told him what I needed and said yes we can definitely do that for you. Once I walked in he had me show him my subwoofer/ amp I had. He then said give him a min to speak with his boss came out and said nope we cannot do that for you, DONT RECOMMENDED, No good customer service.

Scheduled 3 weeks in advance and they lied about the price. I was quoted $125 for install and i showed up and it was $150. This was not including any additional parts. Just the labor. The man inside was rude from the moment i met him.

I had them put in a dashcam for me and they got me in and out in the time they said, oh, the cam was front and back, less than an hour. Im going there for my remote start, Ill keep you posted.

They got me right in at my appt time! No wait and they got right to work! They were amazing! Great fast work and they got me out way sooner than anticipated. He walked me out to my car to make sure I knew how to work it and that was super awesome of him to explain everything to me! I would definitely choose to get more work done even though its a bit of a drive.

I have a lot of respect for Drive in Audiosound! I was having trouble with a sound system someone had installed improperly on a car I bought. I went to multiple other car audio places before going to DIA. All of the other car audio places dragged their heels while trying to charge me outrageous fees just to glance at it briefly. DIA wasted no time and thoroughly checked out what was wrong free of charge and gave me a highly accurate estimate on the cost to fix my sound system. They worked fast, efficiently and used quality products. I highly recommend using DIA for your car audio needs! I will not take my business anywhere else now. 5/5

James installed a new stereo and speakers in my 74 Bronco and did an outstanding job. He had to mount the speakers with particle board and vinyl and it turned out great. Like someone else mentioned dont let the place scare you off, James does excellent work and I highly recommend him.

Just bought a used Ram truck and wanted Bluetooth and hands free talking. Checked around at a couple other shops before going in to Drive In Audiosound. James answered all my questions.. and there were many and he was less money than they other shops I had quotes from. Scheduled my appointment right then. I came back for my appointment and he took my truck right in. Called me not long afterwards letting me know it was ready to go The installation looked fantastic, the stereo and hands free calling work perfectly. Took stereo in for diagnosis. They did a partial fix and didnt inform me of what the fix would be or what it would cost. It was a bit pricey. Done recommend this place.

The best example I have of business done right.I had a request. (hardwire a dashcam into my car)I had already bought the dashcam through Amazon and not them, but they didnt care. Oh, and I had an old dashcam on there that I forgot to take off before I brought my car, but they kindly removed that for me.I leave my car there.I go to work.I come back for my car. The dashcam is hardwired.I pay for my service.I drive away with my new dashcam hardwired to my cars electrical system.Bim, bam, boom, the easiest business transaction Ive had to date. 5 stars, couldnt have asked for more efficiency, will definitely be coming back. :)

Do not go here had him install a line drop fried my head unit and burt my speaker wires in my car instead of paying about 40$ turned into a 500$ event was doing things to my vehicle without my permission even took it back tried to reason with him and nothing i got told he didnt have time to do it for hours when i had to be on my way to vegas

I chose Drive-In Audiosound for my Ford Bronco stereo installation after visiting upwards of six or more car audio installation stores here in the Salt Lake Valley last summer. I ended up stopping off at James store last June, and was suitably impressed with his approach...and for the fact that he was the ONLY shop I visited that gave me a printed quote for installation services.So when I received my new Sony MEX-GS810BH AM/FM/HD/CD/BT receiver for my birthday last month, I visited James a few weeks back and made an appointment for Feb 14th.I arrived early and James was all ready for me. He took the Bronco back in the installation bay, and began work. Although he said it would take 3-5 hours, it actually took about 7 hours...but that is OK with me. Id rather he take his time, do it right, and deliver a solid installation.I asked James to: 1.) Install my new Sony head unit (using the Crutchfield-supplied mounting/faceplate kit, and wiring harness), 2.) Install my Kicker DS6.5 2-way over-sized 6.75 front speakers in the doors (replacing my 18 year old factory units), 3.) Double check the installation of my previously installed Kicker DS693 6x9 3-way speakers in the rear factory locations (replacing the Ford factory 6x8 ovals), and 4.) install a new 4-way Rockford Fosgate # PBR300X4 amplifier (75wx4), which I purchased from James.I picked the Bronco up late in the day and it was done perfectly...and sounded great. In fact, James even upgraded my amp as the Rockford Fosgate PBR300X4 would not fit behind the dash. He replaced it with a more expensive Massive Audio BX4 amplifier rated 120wx4. Again, top notch service and a quality product.Solidly recommend Drive-In Audiosound!UPDATE 8-1-2016: On short notice, I scheduled my Bronco in with James to have him fix some off-road lighting issues that had been plaguing my Hella 4000s and Hella 500s for the last few years.James was available to have the Bronco dropped off on Saturday, and in about 7 hours, he found the problematic relays, replaced both with new higher performing models, upgraded the wiring, ran multiple tests, and had it back to me by close of business on Saturday! The lights work like a charm, and no more worries about not having lights off road when I venture up into the mountains above Springville, UT next weekend for some nighttime support of the Katcina Mosa 100K!Thanks James!P.S.: I will be bringing my Bronco back to James later this summer to have him build me an entirely new center console (to house my 2m/440 ham radio, my 10m ham radio, auxiliary power switches, engine gauges, power ports, etc..), a high-performance Ford 3G alternator upgrade to 250+ amps, a big 5 wiring upgrade, a second isolated back-up battery, along with a new subwoofer system (to supplement the Sony/Kicker/Massive system he installed a year ago...) Really looking forward to it!

Drive in audio sound has now installed in my 04 Ford Mustang, two 12 Rockford fosgate subwoofers, Rockford fosgate p1000 amp, capacitor, rear speaker deck and front speakers with sound processors.This bussiness is uncomparable. Service and quality is amazing. I have been toDC custom and California audio in the past, and honestly, there service compared to drive in audio sound is complete garbage. I would highly recommend this bussiness. Thanks drive in audio!
