Went in with my husband, we own Ludwig Painting. He needed chalk paint. While he was learning how to use the product by the owner I walked around and fell in love with all the darling painted furniture. Very creative! So I found a piece and bought it. Plus they sell “Malicious Woman” candles and I loaded up for Christmas gifts. Funniest candles and smell amazing! Every time I go in I have a great time. The owner is friendly, fun to talk to and an artist. Can’t wait to go again!

I had a client who wanted her cabinets painted with Annie Sloan chalk paint. The owner took her time and showed me how to use this product in great detail. I felt confident with what I learned. A great store and I even bought furniture my wife wanted. Great experience!

Super fun little chalk paint shop. The owner was patient with me and walked me through everything I needed to know in order to turn my plain white yard sale dresser into something I love. Ill be back the next time I find a killer piece of furniture at a yard sale or thrift shop!

Owner was not wearing a mask in violation of the mandatory masking order. She saw me go back to my car for a mask and told me I didnt need to go back for a mask. I said that I really do need the mask because my mother has cancer and I dont want to kill her by giving her COVID-19. No apology from the owner who remained unmasked the whole time I was in the tiny store. I love Annie Sloan Chalk paint but Ill be purchasing elsewhere from now on. Its not worth the stress or the threat to my life and that of my loved ones.

Such a cute store. Megan is very knowledgeable and friendly. I look forward to having her do a custom piece for me! I enjoyed taking a painting class from her and learned several different techniques with the different kinds of chalk paint and wax.

Have a piece of furniture you want painted, but you dont want to do it yourself, this is the place. Their work is quality and creative!

She talked me through what I needed to do on the phone, then she even did a tutorial and emailed it to me since I couldnt come into her store. I feel like she did everything she could to make sure I was a success, in addition to having the paint and brushes that I needed. Seriously cant say enough about how great they are!

I come here to buy paint and gel stain. The Annie Sloan chalk paint is a high quality, versatile product for refinishing furniture or other craft/paint projects. The General Finishes products are also easy to use and wear well. The Annie Sloan paint brushes are pricey, but if you care for them, they last for many projects. 4 stars because Ive never bought home goods here; I find the selection for those items to be niche and limited.

Megan was very helpful and the examples of different pieces and techniques that she has in her shop really made it easy for me to make a decision on how I wanted my project to turn out.

As one of the few retailers selling chalk paint in SLC, I came here about 2 years ago to purchase some. I walked into the store with my young child, hoping to get in and out quickly, but the woman working never bothered to greet us or actually offer any type of help. Instead, she continued quite loudly with a rather personal phone call, leaving us to simply stand there and wait— completely unassisted. After a few minutes of no acknowledgement or assistance, I left empty handed and somewhat annoyed. Today I am, again, in need of chalk paint and when I googled where to buy, this merchant came up again but I’ll definitely take my business and money elsewhere. It’s unfortunate that 2 years have passed, and my experience was so poor I still remember it and feel the need to share it. Good luck getting service here!
