I was looking for a Shantung maple to plant in my front yard, but none of my local nurseries stock this tree. The online shopping and checkout process was easy and fast, and I think the tree was fairly priced for its size. When I picked up at the nursery, staff member Devin assisted me with loading and plastic wrapping the branches to protect the leaves from windburn on the drive home. Devin also patiently answered my questions about how to plant the tree since I’ll be doing it myself later this fall after the first frost. I appreciate his assistance and expertise, and it was also great to meet the nursery cats. Thanks for a pleasant first shopping experience.

Lovely selection and atmosphere. Parking was easy and they loaded everything for me. Plants were very healthy and vibrant, and prices were great too! Better variety than any of the hardware stores and knowledgeable staff 😊

I ordered two maple trees and the delivery/install service. Ill be honest, I thought they were just going to dig a couple holes, plop the trees in there and take off.But they didnt, they really took the time to make sure the trees were steady and standing straight. They even staked them down with three stakes each to ensure theyre stable. They also put mulch down and adjusted the tree bubblers that were there for me.Very happy with their service.

Jordan has helped us with several projects at our new property over the past 6 months. Outdoor kitchen, sod, flowerbed/landscape design and now replacement of shrubs and plants that we lost in the winter storm. Earth Tones is such a BEAUTIFUL Nursery ANYTHING you need is there. And JORDAN is AMAZING. He helped us yesterday on the phone and then today when we bought a GREAT TREE! When you go to be sure and ask for JORDAN. He is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable!

Great selection of deciduous and conifer (including palm) trees, shrubs, flowers, herbs, pots, chimineas, fountains, garden decor, benches, swings and more! Beautiful area to just walk around and enjoy nature and rest for a bit in the sun. Looks like they have a grilling patio and indoor bar for better weather. No pressure to purchase, but we will be back soon to beautify our property!

Earth Tones did a beautiful tropical plant bed around my new pool. These guys were efficient and did everything I expected. Jordan (Django) designed the bed and he has wonderful taste. He is professional and respectful from start to finish. They even fixed the sprinkler heads that the pool builder’s staff broke and didn’t come back to fix. Looking forward to hiring these guys again.

The customer service always goes above and beyond, whether helping me figure out what plant will best thrive in a weird spot, taking the remains of a dead tree they replaced for us, or helping me navigate learning to plant in this clay Texas has. They make me excited to get more plants and watch them thrive with confidence.

The two younger high school aged boys were trying their best to help me with a gift card I received as a Birthday gift when checking out. When they asked an older gentleman that worked there about it he said they have a new updated computer system and walked away. Same guy was rude to me earlier as I was looking at plants and he pretty much made it apparent I was in his way. They guy was not only semi rude to his own coworkers but he was highly rude to me. At checkout I said forget the $100 gift card I’ve never used, keep it, paid for a few of my items and left. I felt really bad for the two kids who were trying to help me, they kept apologizing which obviously it wasn’t their fault. I’m all about supporting local businesses but I was really surprised by the horrible customer service by some of the workers.

I thought I could call and actually have a human answer the phone. Goes to voice mail. We went to Ennis and stopped on the way back to Fort Worth. Asked about milkweed and was brushed off and told if they had any, they would be in the herb section. So very helpful and probably doesn’t have a clue what milkweed is. Didn’t offer to ask anyone about it. Left without buying anything and I won’t be back.

I cant say anything about this companies actual landscaping skills... But their driving is totally unsafe! This morning one of their trucks pulled out in front of my husband and I while we were going 55mph down the access road in Kyle causing us to have to slam on our breaks to avoid running into them! Please tell your drivers to be more patient and safe in their driving. Im sure your client would rather them be a few minutes late rather than cause an accident.

I worked with Pat to purchase several large trees and smaller plants. He was very patient and knowledgeable. I had the trees planted by their crew. They did a great job. Its now been about 6 months and all are alive and well! I also like that they send out emails with helpful info.

This is a great local nursery that carries a huge selection of plants, shrubs, and trees that will actually grow in TX. Their prices are fair (probably a little higher than the big boxes, but thats to be expected) and their products are good. I have bought a few things that were quite pot bound, but still the overall quality of their inventory is very good. They also have a good selection of organics. The employees are helpful and knowledgeable. Worth a visit and a good local small business to support.

Very great experience. They are very knowledgeable in plants and flowers and very hospitable workers. They helped me with discarded pots which I re-use for planting my vegetables. Overall they are the best. Highly recommended.

This was our first visit and the kids and I loved it! The staff was so friendly and helpful. We grabbed some of the gold lantana today and cant wait to go home and plant it! We will be back to grab the cute metal bluebonnets we saw!

I bought two pallets of grass that had to be ordered and delivered. The price was good and the delivery was on time. They called when they were going to deliver then put the pallets of grass where I asked. Everyone that I spoke with was friendly and willing to help. Ill be buying more from them soon.

I would love to tell you my experience with EarthTones, but I cant. Heres the problem. I called them back in the fall to see about them doing some landscaping work at my home. I was told a residential landscaper would return my call. That never happened. I was unhappy, but moved on. My husband asked that I call the other day about getting some work possibly done at our home. I didnt want to call because of my past experience, but decided to try again. Talked to a very nice young man who told me someone would call me back in about an hour. Guess what? Nobody called. I dont get it. Its fine that nobody called within the hour, but days have now passed with no phone call, so Im done.

The gentleman who helped me was very knowledgeable and helped me pick out plants that fit the look I wanted, would do well in the area I was planting, and fit my budget. After trying a couple of other nurseries, I was glad to find this one, and will definitely be going back!

I hired Earthtones Greenery to install an irrigation system in my yard, and I couldnt be more impressed with the service we received. The whole process was quick and easy. Jordan Jango was our project manager, and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. After a slight hiccup happened when an unmarked internet line was accidentally damaged, Jango was able to contact AT&T and get a service technician out to repair our internet line a few hours later, without me having to do anything. The crew completed the irrigation system quickly, and adjusted all of the sprinkler heads perfectly to make sure we get excellent water coverage throughout our property. Afterwards, they spent the extra time to show me the different zones, and how to work the control box and entire system.I highly recommend Earthtones Greenery because of their excellent customer service, great value, speed, and ease of the entire process. I am excited to not have to lug around the hose and sprinkler anymore!

EVERYONE WAS VERY SWEET! THE PLANTS I GOT ARE BEAUTIFUL, I CANNOT WAIT TO GET THEM PLANTED.

The trees that I purchased were resold to another customer. Rather than inform me that this had happened they lied saying theyd only been misplaced, but had found them. They brought out different trees and hoped I wouldnt notice the 3 ft height difference (I measured when I picked them out). The trees they brought were infested with spider mites, and sick with blight tip fungus from which they inevitably died. After multiple calls a day for weeks the warranty I bought was finally honored, only to have more sick trees brought out. I Contacted the owner who assured me I was wrong and that none of the above happened. Would not recommend.

I was there one Saturday looking for some trees to be planted at my house. I ended up purchasing 3 and scheduling the planting, and all went well. However, soon after planted, the leaves didnt look so good on my trees, on in particular. I called and they informed me this was normal, just shock, and asked if I was watering per instructions. I told them I never received instructions and they said they would fax. Well, 2 more calls and still no fax, so I researched online and found what I needed. Then about 2 months after planting, one tree just lost its leaves overnight. They turned brown and blew off. I called and the guy initially told me this was healthy. After debating that, seeing as the other 2 trees looked great, he asked for my email and said the lady would email me and get me on the replacement list, but wanted my pics. So almost a week goes by and no email or call, so I call them back and ask what is going on. Of course the person who answers the phone cant tell me anything, she just takes my name and number and says someone will call me back. Guess what, no call!They probably have quality items, but if you have an issue and need customer service, FORGET IT!

I recently wrote a review about Earthtones not returning my call after damaging my sprinkler system two years ago. I posted a review on fb as well and was contacted within hours. I spoke to Kevin who was extremely nice. Within an hour of that call Mike was at my door who fixed the wiring that had been damaged. Apparently the issues since the work was done as far as personnel has been fixed. I was throughly impressed with Kevin and Mike to the point that they have earned my trust and business again!

Ive never used their landscaping services. First interaction with Earthtones was purchasing several trees, rocks and bushes at their auction a couple years ago, all but one tree made it and I have since purchased a huge crape myrtle from Earthtones to replace the dying magnolia. I had the crape myrtle installed by Earthtones and that went smoothly, they showed up on time and were quick. Ive also purchased sod here, got a good deal on some almost dead Bermuda last summer that came back just fine. This past fall I purchased a half cord of firewood and staff helped load it up. I plan to hit them up for some veggies and landscaping plants this spring. All around good experience.

We met with several landscaping companies unsuccessfully before we chose Earthtones. Sherla listened to our ideas and created an amazing landscaping plan especially for our backyard. Earthtones was not only able to provide us better service, but better products and more for our money than any other nursery around. They are extremely professional and truly care about their customers satisfaction. We will definitely use them again in the future and highly recommend them.

Have been waiting 4 days for a return phone call to do more landscaping..They dont awnser the phone during the day, And they dont always return phone calls! When they do its after hours..And if you miss the call then your out of luck! Probably due to poor managment!
