Have called a few times, never had what I was looking for, but everyone else was too. So I do t hold that against them. No matter who, they were always courteous. So today we stopped in and called ahead, they had on hand what we needed. Nice they are close by too. And found some wssm rounds too. So we were in and out and got back to loading rounds. Nice store and great staff.

I ship all my FFL items here, the process is smooth and painless. I havent purchased from them before but they do have a robust stock of firearms and parts.

I love these people/this store. Big online store specializing in scopes but have expanded after building a brick and mortar store. Family run business. Knowledgeable friendly helpful staff. Good deals. Also have some used guns. Not a big store but they can get you what you want.

Staff is nice and helpful. Store is clean and well organized. If they dont have it in store they will usually check to see if it can be ordered online for you. At the time of writing (6/11/21) FFL transfer is $25 and I have never had an issue with anything being sent or picking it up.

Honest and fair company. When things are normal they have a top tier selection with great prices. $20 transfers and genuinely good people.

Seems it takes 5 days to ship a package from Midlothian to Conroe yall need to start using FedEx. I always like using SWFA because my package would arrive always within 2 days from the time it leaves the store now its 5 for an approximate 2hr drive. I use yall because of how quickly the orders are processed but now I might as well consider all companys that sell products specific to the gun industry. Sorry SWFA but I think yall can negotiate better shipping time for your instate customers.

That was until today when the broke back looking tall guy with a mustache and goatee assumed I was going to steal ammo because I opened a box of ammo to look at one cartridge. SWFA apparently supports the military by assuming Marines are thiefs...f*ck this place.

I ordered a product 2 months ago and it has shown in stock since I placed the order. Each time I reach out Im given a different reason why they havent sent it along with a passive aggressive response. Very surprised as SWFA generally has good reviews. Very bad customer experience so far

Its a nice store but the customer service is repelling. My husband and I were in there and there were quite a few workers standing around and no one ever greeted us, asked if we needed help, or even made eye contact with us! They probably could have sold us on a few expensive items that my husband was looking at if they only offered assistance and information. When we did finally ask a question, they seemed irritated that we bothered them. The owners of this store should be embarrassed by their complete lack of customer service.

They had a q on door, I dont want to shop at a place that expresses personal opinions or hidden meanings for people to guess that they are involved in q anon conspiracy groups. Plus they no longer carry muzzle loader supplies

Terrible customer service. Ordered a product on May 22nd and keep in mind the item was in stock. Waited about a week and didn’t receive any news on shipping. I called and was told the warehouse where this product was coming from was delayed 10-15 days. So I waited once again and nothing. I called back and was told the warehouse was still delayed. So at this point it’s been about a month and I call back to see what was going on and they decided to tell me that they don’t have the product in stock anymore and don’t know when they will be getting it back in stock. I cancelled my order. Sad part about this... is the manager didn’t even bother to offer to help. All they did was upgrade my shipping, but what is that going to do when they don’t even know when the product is coming back in stock. This is disappointing and I will never order from this place again. I DO NOT recommend ordering from here at all.

Don’t order from here, placed and order waited 2 weeks for a shipping confirmation which I never received. Left a email no response for a week, made a phone call spoke to Andy who was gonna talk to the warehouse and call or email back that never happened. Called 5 days after talking to Andy and was told we can’t ship to you. Almost a month to find that out. They weren’t even going to let me know just take my money. Awful way to run a business and even worse customer service DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

SWFA has an amazing selection of every single firearms related thing you could possibly need. The prices are the best, they can order you just about anything you want, and they even price match! Dont forget about the employees, they are top notch, absolutely some of the best employees Ive ever dealt with in my entire life. They are super helpful, and I definitely recommend going to SWFA for your firearms needs.

Really great place, they have ammo type you can possibly think of. Their weapon selection is up to date everything from AR parts to pistols parts. Pricing is really good and the cheapest place Ive seen so far thatll have weapons shipped to their building.

Swung by SWFA Outdoors for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised how nice the store was set up. Shelves were bare but thats expected since all the panic buying. Not only do they sell firearms and firearm accessories but used firearms and NFA items as well. A nice addition to their store is the electronic fingerprinting via the SilencerCo kiosk for NFA purchases. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and I suspect that Ill be visiting this venue in the near future.

So helpful!I went in with a rough idea of what I needed for home protection, and they showed me a few great possibilities, but not too many to confuse me. Took time explaining and helped me get the right gun for ME. Ended up going with a less expensive one, than what I thought I’d spend. Excellent inventory, of bullets too.

Nice people. I said I had $1000 to spend and the young man with a beard either did not have sales experience or didnt work on commission. I went to Alvarado and met a salesman that was extremely knowledgeable and came home with a custom ar15.

I really like this place. The ammo selection is great!On my first trip I thought it was a little pricey. On second visit I noticed their firearm prices were about average to a little high but ammo and accessories are competitively priced.

I just left there a few hours ago. It was my first time going there. I was treated with respect and found their staff to be great.Only issue I had was they sold the Ruger AR-556 for $200.00 less than I bought it. That is not their fault. But dang it I wish I Knew about them sooner.They had a hard to find Gerber I wanted so I got that too. They are good people with a great selection.

This is a beautiful shop (seriously - best looking shop I think Ive ever seen) with a great selection of guns, ammunition, survival gear and more. I want to thank the staff for their help with an older SWFA SS scope I had to bring in yesterday.The scope was having some issues and the gentleman that helped me could not have made the process easier. No questions asked, didnt try to tell me that I was wrong or that it was my fault, etc. Clearly, they just wanted me to be happy, which is all I could ask for from any customer service. Gave me a brand new scope from off the shelf, even let me look through as many as I wanted until I found one that I liked best. The SWFA scope warranty is absolutely rock solid (although it doesnt look like most people ever need to use it, based on reviews all over the internet). Even gave me a free sunshade for my new scope!The only thing that slowed the process down was that I looked around the shop and bought a few things, due to the awesome selection and prices. :) Otherwise, I would have been in and out in 10 minutes or less.Would highly recommend! A good place for your firearm accessories, ammunition, and though limited, outdoor equipment. The Ryan and the other members or the staff are all VERY knowledgeable, and do their best to answer any and all questions about the firearms and other items that you may have. They also have A wide variety of ammunition to chose from. I VERY HIGHLY recommend dealing with them!

In my opinion, you cant find better on a local basis that isnt a big box type store. I have always been treated well when dealing with the staff, and while not all prices are always the lowest in the area, they are within reason. If you look around in the store or wait for sales, you will find some very good bargains. Just depends on what you are wanting at a particular time, and if you are willing to wait for the discounts. They also have a nice selection of ammo.

I went to this location to purchase a hand gun and I am a first time user and owner. The sales rep who helped me was very knowledgeable and suggested a hand gun for me as a first time user and the funny thing about the purchase was I didnt want to spend a lot of money but he didnt know that and showed me one in my price range. He also made sure I didnt buy things that were not needed when I told him I wanted different items. He took time to show me how stand and hold the weapon in my hand. I give this location 5 stars and will shop there again.

Hands down the easiest buying experience online or in store. If they dont have it in stock (which rarely happens) or posted online, no worries they will get it for you. This place is a Hunters/shooters Paradise... I have bought many items from SWFA and have had the best experience than any other place I shop for outdoor equipment. The only fault I have found is there customer service. They are way to nice and helpful, not just once but EVERY time I have called in my order. With more companies today customer service is not a priority but with SWFA it seems to be at the very top of there list. Keep it up SWFA!!!!!!!!!!

I give them 1 star because of the awesome choice of weapons and accessories. I saw the hand gun that i wanted to purchase. It was the right price but the vibe from the staff was less than welcoming. I will never shop there again and will let my people know that if their not the right shade, dont bother.

I have been an SWFA customer since 1998. In that time, Ive seen them grow and move to new upgraded locations twice, until finally moving into the AWESOME facility they have today! Their product offerings have expanded tremendously since that time as well. One thing has remained constant in the 27 years Ive been buying from SWFA -- they have always treated me right! Their prices are always competitive and they carry a large inventory, but its their people that have made me a loyal customer.

Staff is friendly and somewhat knowledgeable depending on who you are speaking with(3 staff members will get you 3 diff answers)?? good selection of ammo but thats about it, prices are toooooo inflated, the rent on that building is obviously high..... but nice place to look around!!

I can’t stay away from this place. The service is excellent with very knowledgeable and friendly sales people. Shoppers may not realize that the selection in the store is just a representation of the products they have to offer. You can purchase items in the store that they have in their extensive online shop. I’m a sucker for their NFA items.
