We were happy to see this store when we moved into the area. Goodbye HEB wont miss you all that much. Kroger reminds us of their sister store Fred Meyer. Not a fan of the online digital coupons, kind of a pain to have to enter as you shop. Big store and busy with shelves being stocked. Clean and friendly staff too.
Great store, always clean. only complaint is that the cashiers always seem short staffed. The check out lines are almost ALWAYS ridiculously backed up
Great for most of your grocery needs. The misses swears by the tomatoes - not at them. The produce and deli sections are quite large. Like any store, you can enjoy savings by joining their rewards program. This in turn can yield savings on gas at the Kroger gas station. It is a super large store for a small town.
The morning staff is not very helpful, this includes what I can only assume is management. 5 employees and counting have left me standing at guest services without helping but saying the person that works this station is at the gas pumps and will return. Normally this store is great
The one register open in the evenings all the time is ridiculous. Going through the one line and having to bag my own groceries is also super annoying. If I have just a few items self check out is fine, but when spending $300 plus it is too much to do that. The store has completely gone down hill since opening. Produce is very often not stock and shelves are empty of things.
I grabbed a last minute cake from the bakery, it was FANTASTIC, and I was assisted by the bakery manager, and she was AMAZING, the cake was delicious, the service 10/10, the young man that helped me at the self service check out Quinton was THE BEST!!! I love our Kroger, I refuse to shop anywhere else! Keep it up yall!!!!
8 lanes for checkout, but only 4 lanes open on a busy Sunday. Lines were all the way down the aisles and it was hard to move. This defeats the purpose of social distancing when everyone is right on top of each other waiting in long lines crowding up aisles. After waiting almost 15 minutes in line I finally got to check out. Then noticed there are no sackers at any of the lanes. I had a lot of groceries and had to bag/sack my own items. If Im going to do this I should be on their payroll, its not my job. There were no employees calling for backup or help, no other lanes were opened. Nobody to help with the control of the excessive amount of traffic that was piling up from the backed up lines. Yet everywhere you look employees were on the floor stocking shelves or scanning items, but no sense of urgency to help out at the register. Everyone was trying to squeeze through and were running into each other. There was no order or organization at all. To top things off, they were out of stock on lots of things.
Yes I shop at this store for convenience, but working there isn’t even suitable for cattle. They expect you to be robots for very little pay. I applauded those who do work there, but with the way management talks to you and the lack of training during orientation, I strongly DO NOT recommend this store for employment.
Visited this store for the first time on Wednesday, Aug 25th (today). Had the worst experience there—with cashier, Tedrick. He was not very friendly, and 70% of the items were charged wrong! We realized 1 item before leaving store and costumer service refunded us the money. However, as we walked to the car we realized there was about 4 more items that were charged at original price and not the ‘sale’ price. We drove 17 min to this place, and will definitely not be coming back. :/
I used to always come here for lunch. I love how you can go to the deli or go get some fresh sushi. And it’s reasonably priced, there’s also a Starbucks in the store. Any time I’m in the area I always have to come here
Great place to shop, theres parking on the side if the lot is full. Management does a great job keeping the store up and products in stock. I love Krogers prices. No complaints about this store.
Lynda over in floral was such a huge help. I need 200 red roses and she was so helpful in ordering those for me. Thanks!
One of the biggest grocery stores around and looks amazing and very well kept. Yes the prices could be a little better but thats my only complaint. Highly recommend for shopping.
Please killer I love the food and the people are nice I actually won $10 on a lottery ticket and I bought nine Gatorade it was amazing
Seafood department steamer never work!! Does not seem they want to invest in getting a new one after 2 years of constantly broke. All other Krogers make it a priority and keep there equipment fixed.
Thank you Kroger for working hard to keep your shelves stocked in this difficult time. The homemade chicken soup is excellent and the prepared meals like Spaghetti and meatballs or the chicken fajita bowls worked out great in a pinch. Appreciate the staff who put the extra effort to make the travel from home in these unprecedented and dangerous driving conditions. Thank you!
I like Kroger. Just learn to stock collard greens at peak holiday times in Mansfield
Great employees! Bagger named Kevin few weeks back showed me to how clip digital coupons and clear my search history, very helpful!
Stop complaining in the reviews about who is or isn’t wearing a mask. That has nothing to do with you and your personal life.Kroger here is a better store I’ve been to than the smaller chains but they do get packed on the weekends
I saw a unicorn cake in the display case at the bakery. I LOVED it. I approached the counter and placed an order a week ago to pick up today that was the same unicorn but had pink and purple hair. The cake I picked up was NOT what I ordered it has blue green pink purple hair and the frosting looks horrible. The lady told me she isn’t the one who made it. That was her answer. I’m so disappointed because I’ve gotten cakes from Kroger before and it never looked this bad. Probably won’t get a Kroger cake again.
After 4 Associates told me where one item was (by the way they were all four wrong) I found my item after 45 minutes. In this visit, I was almost ran over by a vendor for redbull and an actually employee with a trash cart. If I was actually in the way, I would understand but neither made an attempt or even said excuse me. I still will shop at this location because of the convenience. One positive is the experience at the check out. Amorran was nice and had a small conversation with me.
The worlds worst store.I can never find ANYTHING I need.
This is the worst pharmacy ever they are slow they tell your prescription is ready and then it is not and they never contact you back I hate that this is the closest pharmacy to me
I shop Brookshire ( switched from Kroger 8 weeks ago) Better customer service and I still get fuel points. Customer service their downfall on my reason to switch.
I saw at least 8 people in the store without masks on. Please do better at enforcing this. We all want to get ouf this bad dream! The store is always stocked, organized, and clean. Some personnel are rude, thats their issue.
Kroger needs more variety of items but it is okay
Great selection and quick check out. Prices in line w HEB👍🏼
I will not be buying my produce at Kroger. Rotten potatoes and spoiled produce. Ive showed the produce to customer service and the girl was not shocked or concerned.
Has a decent selection for gluten free items.
Went in to get all my CHRISTmas shopping done. I got almost everything I wanted except, they didnt have t shirts. Got everything else. 1 stop shopping. Great.
Great store. Worth the drive from Red Oak. However always check your receipt. Constantly over charged for items and have to go customer service.
I couldn’t figure out how to use my Kroger card so I called an attendant and the guy at self checkout just stood there while my light was blinking and was rude too. Prefer HEB
Well stocked store. Staff were very helpful. Not a good stock in the milk section as I was primarily after skim milk.
Every line is crazy long even self checkout.
Great help from Katrina in the floral department!!
The store itself is very clean and well stocked. But the real review is for the Service Deli. That customer service is awful. It doesnt matter what day or time of day, the workers are extremely slow paced. I wish they had an area where we could place a order for fresh cut meats and cheeses, shop and pick it up and check out like some of the other Krogers. Some of the worker behind the counter have a hard time answering order questions as well. I recently decided to order a sandwich platter from the Mansfield Marketplace over the close by Midlothian store just because of the overall service given in prior visits. Service Deli needs a little more work in customer service area please. Be glad to come back.
Great selection, clean and organized place.
The greatest team at this store! Love this place. Shop here 3x a week.
Give Ben a raise!! Great effort and attitude - heads above the rest!
Great place to shop for your food needs.
One of the nicest grocery stores Ive been in! By the way was just in there and the shelves look nothing like the recent photos above such BS great fresh bread and plenty of it!!! By the way TP to!!!
Man I miss Kroger! We have moved out of Kroger land so it’s always nice to visit when we’re back! Clean, well stocked, helpful staff. This one is new with lots of great food and quick meal options.
A shout of two the two sweet employees that tried to help turn my 2 year old little man’s frown upside down. The woman employee that approached us at the floral counter got us a balloon and while waiting for the balloon the man at the Starbucks counter came and brought him a whipped cream “frapp” thank you both again!
They they have the best cashiers, courteous, helpful and cheerful. My favorite place to shop.
This store is awesome! Had everything.. to automotive, tons of beauty supplies to choose from.Lots of fresh food choices. I found the pet aisle had plenty of pet food and supplies. This is not the average grocery store.Loved it!
Awesome store fresh food and helpful employees! Would give it a 6 star rating if I could!
I has the most unpleasant experience with the most unprofessional kart guy at midlothian kroger. He was very rude. Looks to be white or Hispanic short cut and sunglasses on today. Everything else was great, if I had to bade my experience on future shopping I would not return. Gladly I do not..
Customer service is really important to me, where I spend my money is extremely important that I feel valued. The cashier dont say thank you after I spent $200.00. I dont remember her saying have a good day or anything, I was friendly, I told her how we had moved here about 2 months ago, I told her I liked the store. Its a market place, they have clothes and all kinds of products for the home. The girl on the floor was really helpful, friendly and the store is very clean but I am very disappointed with the service at checkout. The girl at the gas kiosk wished me a blessed day, thats almost as good as a thank you.
I love being able to just go an pick up my groceries!! I just dislike the $5 fee every time I have to do a pickup. At least with Walmart all you have to do is order $30 worth of products, which is easy to do.
Kroger pharmacy is the worst I rather drive 2 miles to Walgreens
I was turned away at 830 pm on Christmas eve when store hours said they closed at 9pm ........my self and many others .........I was unable to get supplies needed for me and my family to enjoy our Christmas............had the store hours would of said they closed at 830 pm I could of made plans to get someone there but store hours said they closed at 9 so I figured I would make it on the way home from work ........ I was very disappointed.........im sure others were as well ........
Mercedes that works at the customer service is racist rude causican lady. She told me that Kroger will not do anything to her because I dont matter and my money doesnt matter either. Kroger is only there for the workers and not for the customers. I have spent over 3,898 dollars there and only being going for about 8 months now but now I will be looking for another Kroger marketplace that will appreciate my money and me as a person.I drive from Baylor Scott and white downtown every Friday to go to this Kroger and for me to be mistreated like I was today was unprofessional.
We just left Krogers and wanted to say that Allison our cashier was kind, bubbly and very helpful. Michael O. bagged our groceries and loaded them into our vehicle. He is one of the most respectful and friendly young man we have met in a long time.
Wouldn’t recommend working here
A variety of items can be bought at the Marketplace chains. The fresh, made to order food are a special treat. I made a salad and tried the potato soup, and will come back another day to try the other goodies. Many grocery items are still costly, thats why I gave it 4 stars.
Love this Kroger. I drive in from another city just for their wonderful fresh organic fruit and vegetables. Love their store brands also.
Do not get cakes her. The girl who works in the bakery department is extremely rude.
Great workers and clean store. But the prices on milk and other things are often times ringing up higher than the price tag. Just not high enough to hold the line up to get them to correct. But it never rings up lower than the tagged price. Hmmmmm.
Prices are cheap! Customer service is EXCELLENT! Very clean! Great produce selections, always fresh! Love this store! Have everything I need! You should DEFINITELY be shopping here!
It is always fun to shop here. This is a huge store with everything from dairy, produce, canned goods, holiday, clothing and shoes, floral, etc. We wish all Kroger stores had what this one has!
First time at this Kroger. Will probably deal with the 30-minute trip to go back regularly. Incredible selection, 65+ aisles of food and merchandise. Sushi. Starbucks. Even Levi jeans! Very impressive.
Aisles too short to offer variety. Especially chip, dairy, and bread offerings. Same problem with Mansfield location and the reason I have to drive to Cedar Hill to find decent selections. EDIT: Add a star. They pay attention to feedback on item availability.
The store is clean, well organized, always fully stocked and the employees are so nice and friendly. The store manager named Jessie went above and beyond to make sure my shopping experience at his store was pleasant, he even took the time to help me locate items. I drive 14 miles and pass by two other Kroger stores just to come to this store.
I like most of their selection but I refuse to go there anymore unless I just need one or two things. Hardly ever have multiple lanes open. Self check out lines are backed up. No space in self checkout for a full cart of groceries. I wait forever if I need to do something at Customer Service. Forget going after 3pm or on a weekend.
Everything is great except for self checkout. Everytime we go to self checkout we have to get an employee to help us because of how sensitive the weighted platform is on the checkout.
Store is always clean! Love how it is laid out. Staff are all friendly and helpful on getting you to something you cannot find.
Absolutely amazing! Its about time Midlothian got such a good store. Prices are affordable, produce is amazing and the selection of all products is excellent. They have plenty of options to choose from and their bakery is outstanding! Best store in the area for sure.
This is a very new facility. I rated it as 4 stars because its too big (if thats possible), but 5 stars would not be unreasonable. They have an excellent selection, the facilities are very clean, the isles are spacious, the employees are helpful. But I dont really need to buy clothes at the grocery store. Do I think 4.5 is a fair score.
Pharmacy is slow and does not care about the customer. Sister had surgery and when we dropped off prescription was told an hour but they would try to hurry since we still had to drive an additional 25 minutes home. Drive up after an hour wait and told 20 more minutes. I explained again (nicely) about driving home still and just being out of surgery and was told dont know what to tell ya, it will be 20 more minutes. Maybe as a pharmacy you should realize 2 very important items: patients pay your bills by giving you business, people are sometimes in pain and are relying on you for help.Would not recommend this pharmacy, very disappointing.
Shame on you Kroger for not having even ONE LANE open last night when we came in and spent almost $400 in groceries. I had to ask for a lane to be opened and he, the cashier, didn’t even have a bagger!!!! We pay too much in our community shopping here for this type of service. You are losing customers to H-E-B which is where we should have gone. Shame on you for subpar service while taking our hard earned money.
Very nice check out host. Very helpful floor people. Nice, clean well stocked store.
Beautiful new store. Prices look comparable to other local grocers. Great beer and wine selection with many local texas brewers. Meat market is well stocked. Vegetables look fresh and ripe.
So much of everything. Some gluten free and diabetic food choices. Would like to see more, but decent selection. Deli, bakery and kitchen aisles awesome! Accommodating employees, too.
Little short girl I believe her name was Shelby was the nicest person, no attitude what so ever when I asked her not once but three times were some items was in the store . She said she was new and was still learning the store so she walked with me and we found it together. Such a sweetheart thank you Shelby
This is a nice store. I shop here regularly and I was very disappointed today. It was very hot! My scalp was wet when I left. The check out lady was not friendly at all. She was in a hurry to take a break. All she said was hi and do you have a Kroger card. She sacked cold items with other stuff and the boxes were wet when I got home. She definitely needs some training! Customer service is a big key for me where I spendy money.
Well worthy of my 25 mile drive to shop. The size of the store is crazy. Produce is beautiful, meat market is quality and the fresh seafood is beautiful and not smelly.
Self check out cashiers are so rude. Specially the young ladies. They just stand in a corner and gossip, every time I ask for help they either shrug or just don’t help. I recently asked the young lady if she could help me and she just said “what’s up?” From a distance. I always say If you don’t like your job then leave it
Excellent establishment. Its HUGE! It is very clean and the staff is the most attentive I think Ive ever encountered at a grocery store! Highly recommend!
Nice New Krogers... But the steamer in the seafood dept. Was down could not get my shrimp stream. Friendly workers..
This is a very nice Kroger that is well organized and their people are super cordial. No smug faces or bad attitudes from anyone. Kroger and HEB are our go-to supermarkets for meats and cheeses. Their quality of meats along with their prices are hard to match.
Friendly cashiers and a great selection. Love it!
Beautiful new store with lots of selection even beyond groceries. I worked in a Kroger over 30 years ago while in college and Im pretty sure we didnt see clothing or sushi back then!
While I call out bad service at businesses when warranted ( there seems to be a lot of that lately ) I will also call out those that are the epitome of good customer service. This morning at Kroger in Midlothian I received such service. The young lady’s name was Mercedes and was very quick ( she was the only staffed lane open ) and pleasant. She did not get rattled at the line that increasingly grew, and made it through without incident. She greeted each customer and engaged them in conversation making it a pleasant experience. With retailers creeping more and more into the automated world I fear that the employees like Mercedes are a dying breed.Kroger should be very proud of their associates like Mercedes and strive to have more like her...
Excellent wine and cheese selection! Friendly and helpful staff. A great new grocery store that is very conveniently located to the burbs!
The employees here are so kind and friendly! This is a big nice store. They even have a big clothing isle with a lot of nice stuff!
Clean store. But I do not like the self check out. Ok if you are buying a few items but not a lot of groceries. Katie checked me out last week. Very polite young lady... the manager needs more check out lines open..... hint hint.....
The Absolute best Kroger in the whole wide world the store is always very very clean and the staff is always very very nice and friendly and always willing to help me with whatever I need if you ever get the chance to shop at this Kroger do it and you’ll see how a Kroger is Supposed to be
This has to be the best Kroger I have ever been to! It was very nice to say the least. I was not prepared and ended up spending 1.5 hours in there! They have Levis, dishes and just about anything else. The employees are just sweethearts. I am very impressed and will gladly make this my store even though its im the next town over.
If you are brave enough to shop here, go inside! The pickup service is terrible! Last week our order wasnt ready until 1 hour and 50 minutes after our scheduled pick up time. This week our order wasnt ready until 1 hour and 20 minutes past our scheduled pickup. Im pretty sure, if they strapped my groceries to a turtles shell, the turtle would have completed the 7 mile journey to my house quicker than my order was ready. If a cast member from the TV show my 600 pound life started a marathon at the same time Kroger started putting my grocery order together, the cast member would complete the 26.2 mile race before my groceries were ready. You get the picture.
Beautiful new store. Great prices and a wonderful selection of meats, produce, cheese and has a deli and a Starbucks inside. Even has a apparel dept, toy dept., and a big floral dept.
I can honestly say there is nothing wrong yet. I pray it stays that way lol cause I loved it they even give you a map!!! 😊
This is just an overall great store... super clean...great prices....all the brands our family loves...friendly atmosphere!
Every employee was friendly and helpful. Excellent selection of all the items I need. A great store!
Nice store, but way overpriced!! I also felt the people working there are not very friendly.
This is a very nice store. They have a lot of stuff here, almost too big to shop. You could spend all day there and probable not see everything.
It was very hot in the store...i feel sorry for the employees. Im just walking around got what I needed... and I was sweating...yes it was 100 out side... but the store was hot... I asked a couple of employees is it always like this... they said yes... some one needs to look into this.... its Texas we need air!!!!!
First time to “try” and use the convenient Clicklist service and will NEVER use this service again. I have been waiting over an hour past my pick up time for my order with three toddlers in the car. I drove from Waxahachie to try this out. Never again.
I definitely make this place my favorite! There are many hard-to-get items I can only get at Kroger. I will never stop go there.
Matt in the bakery - Love Him! He should be teaching customer service technique to the entire store. He made a Kroger customer for life.
