Great staff, well stocked with tcg, board, and tabletop games. Also well stocked snack and drink selection. Military discount is also a plus. A large area to play the games. Clean and well lit. Overall a great experience.

I love this place. They have just about every game you want, and if they dont, theyll get it for you. They will even let you try most games before buying it. They have a huge playing area and tons of miniatures and painting supplies if thats what your into. Definitely worth your time to check it out

Really nice place. Spoke with the owner for about 20 minutes. Hes a super nice guy. If you are looking for a great place to buy a game go there. Good prices and most games are available for demo in the back. Speaking of the back, they provide a really cool area to play games. I will return to my new favorite LGS.

Stock seemed nice, layout was good, staff seemed sufficiently nerdy.It was nice to see a game store upon moving back to my home town, but upon visiting and looking through their Facebook pics (and reading other reviews), its clear they did not take proper precautions during the pandemic or enforce mask orders. The few times I stopped in, nobody had masks on in the entire store. I wish them well, and am sure they have found a good home among the population of Midlothian, but Im voting with my wallet on this one.

Outstanding owner, very active groups of gamers with a fairly active discord community. Very impressed and excited to play some games in the future.

The store itself is fantastic. Clean, well-stocked and bright. Most of the gaming clientele will not wear masks, which is especially bothersome as social distancing cannot always be followed if participating in a game. The staff do not enforce mask usage, either. As long as you have it on when you enter, that’s all they require.

Most amazing card shop around.They have built a genuine community and atmosphere. From the moment you walk in you are greeted and treated like a friend. If you are looking to get into a new hobby i highly recommend stopping in here. They will to out of their way to help you learn the hobby. There are tons of organized events and tons of room to just come in with friends and play games of any sort.

This place is awesome! The staff is super friendly. The other customers are very welcoming. You can find someone to play just about any type of tabletop game you are interested in. Board games, roleplaying games, miniature games, you name it. I cant recommend this place enough.

Uhm I LOVE this place! I remember this store as a hole in the wall the owner is so chill and nice and he has created such a great community in Midlothian. He sells such a variety for tabletop games and even some Manga and Gundam model kits. Best place south of Dallas.

It’s a great shot good Pokémon good area for testing board games

Have been visiting this shop since our lgs closed down. Went today for a few 550 boxes which previously had been $.75 each, today the price had gone up to $1 each. I have no problem with the price going up but all the boxes were still marked $.75. I asked about it and guy at the counter gave serious attitude about it, again its not that the price went up, its that they were still marked the cheaper price. That combined with the attitude will make me question if making the drive is worth it.

This has been my #1 place to go for over a year now. A little bit of everything. Magic the Gathering, Warhammer 40k, Dungeon and Dragons, a literal wall of board games and so much more. If they dont have it talk to Ryan, more than likely he can get it for you.Family friendly and casual. A great atmosphere and good people all around. Plenty of tables to sit down and play. Stop by and say hi sometime. Come learn a new game or rediscover an old one. Either way it is defiantly worth a visit.

I have been going to this shop for a couple years for D&D books and supplies. I have always received great customer service. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable about his stock as well as what he can order. He even sat me down and showed me how to paint minis. Thanks! Also there are always games of some sort going on inside. My fiance and I went into this shop and boy, we were impressed! The owner and his father were so knowledgeable and polite! They took the time to go over multiple board games, figures and dice with us. We both felt welcome and everything was just so wonderful and genuine. If they dont have dice or games you want? I just got back into Warhawk we 40k, and this is my closest store.The owner was super friendly, and talked with me and my son at length about getting into the hobby, and was awesome.Then, when we were ready to purchase and order a few things, he offered a veteran discount (because I served), and then also threw in a gift to get us started.Best experience ever, needs 10 stars, super loyal now!

This place is great, and what makes it great is the customer service. Theyre very friendly and genuinely concerned with being able to help you find what youre looking for, whether it be a new board game or a place to socialize through board gaming. I think this store is going to grow into something more than it is now and I cant wait to see it.

Ive only been a couple times; however, the staff is friendly and engaging. Theyre eager to demonstrate new games or introduce new gamers to the world of gaming, the right formula for any true gaming store. Their shop is small but has a lot going for it. Good selection that caters to most all interests.Updating:After frequenting, I have changed my rating from a 4 star to a 5 star. This is a great shop. There is plenty of playing space. All the players Ive encountered were willing to make space for other gamers and not being the usual gamer elitists. The owner is constantly listening to customer suggestions on inventory and willing to experiment with new game systems. I currently play in a Shadowrun group, that meets at the shop, and everyone is easy to get along with. The shop staff, including the owner, even jump in on occasion.

Ive done a few Magic The Gathering events here and they always have a great turnout and the people that come are fun to be around.They also have several tables set up so you can play games there any time. Excellent location for almost every form of gaming. The staff are very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. I ended up with a super cool board game and I rekindled my interest into Warhammer 40k. Community is really great, cant wait to come back for some pickup games once my models are ready

Games unplugged is something special and has easily become my favorite store. Whether I want to come hang out or play magic everyone always welcomes us to be there. Extraordinary friendly environment, with an amazing owner who goes out of his way to make sure that you get what you need. Even going as far as ordering in board games, tubs or boxes of cards for you. By far the best card shop ive ever been to, and the only one i want to go to.

This is a great, small game store. The staff are very helpful. Ignore the review from Ryan Simpson. He obviously doesnt buy games. The prices are standard retail prices. Think MSRP. The selection is good for a small shop. There is also a good amount of playing space. Everytime I was looking for something the store has helped me and even ordered things for me. If you are a board, war or role-playing game hobbyist that lives south of I-30, this is the place to go.

One of the best play areas I have seen in a game store

Nice little place with areas to hobby, game tables, and a decent selection of games.

I understand that prices at a place like this are going to be higher than normal, due to having employees to pay for, needing to pay rent, and all cost related things, but the prices at this store seem like flat-out extortion. I would only use this place as an absolute Last Resort. Even in that scenario, good luck finding what you need. For a store that is so cluttered, its weird that it seems like theres just absolutely nothing in there at all.

A well located store in Ellis County lots of options when it comes to different types of table top and board games along with a Manga collection and various other gaming supplies, even some game nights which are pretty amazing. A place for sure to check out if in town

This place is amazing if youre a gamer. Its an awesome place to hang out and make friends while having fun. They host large gaming tournaments weekly for Magic, Pokemon, Yugioh, Heroclix and Warhammer, they have a wide selection of these products too along with alot of other interesting and random board games you might want to try.

Was working in the area and stopped in trying to find a simple ultra pro playmat tube for my son. Ordering them online didnt make since do to shipping and we had been unable to find any at our local shops and the didnt want to order them in until the inventory on the other brand they stock got a little lower. I was a little numbed at first when I didnt see them but when I explained to the employee/owner that I had been having a hard time finding them he grabbed a brand new ultra pro matt that came in a tube and asked if that was the one I was looking for. I replied yes but my son already has a matt he said no problem and took the brand new matt out of the tube and handed it to me. Not only did he part it to get me taken care of but he also sold it to me at the regular price didnt try and scalp me knowing I was having trouble finding it. I live about 45 min away but will try and make the effort to come hit up an FMN or something in the future. Thanks alot guys!
