My husband and I have been looking for a use car for our son. The car market today is crazy. Everything is marked up. We called a friend who’s well versed in car dealerships and he suggested Bill Kay Ford.We hung up the phone with our friend at 11a, and went right over to Bill Kay Ford! By 1:30p we were pulling up in our driveway in our son’s new/used car.The experience at Bill Kay was AMAZING! We told Abe our rep what we’re looking for and he knew exactly what to show us. The car had all our requirements and items we didn’t even think about. We were sold! Then we met with the General Manager Daniel, he asked where we wanted to be with monthly payments….he ran the numbers Voila Magic we’re purchasing a car!! Just traded in my F150 and purchased a new one from Bill Kay. Abe was awesome to work with. With limited inventory, finding what I was looking for involved some calling around. Other dealerships were reluctant to discuss trade in and sale numbers over the phone, or if they did too forever. Abe was ON IT. He came back to me with a fair trade on my truck and negotiated a fair deal. All from a call at 8 at night. Would recommend

I purchased my new 2020 ford escape here a few months back after visiting few dealers in the area who were mostly bait with their online prices. This is a comparatively smaller dealership but they were true to their online price listing. We reached the dealership after noon and Mena helped us in the purchase - test drive, credit check, loan, forms. We were able to leave with the new car the same evening. I love my Escape and would like to thank Bill Kay Ford and Mena.

Let me tell you first that I LOVED my 2016 Platinum Explorer with especially with the modifications I did on it, but COVID has changed the landscape quite a bit with my job as I have inherited 3 more states so now I will be covering 14 states in the Midwest.I am fortunate that I work for a company that assists me with my travels and will gladly pay for my work flights but I travel with 3 - 4 huge samples bags plus my own personal baggage and trade show materials that its easier for me to drive rather than navigating through an airport, shipping materials only to get lost, car rentals... well, its easier to make a road trip and work my territory weeks at a time.With that said, I needed more room and wanted a more comfortable ride and thanks to Kevin Mello Fondren at Bill Kay Ford in Midlohthian, IL, he reached out to me about a week ago and he got me a deal that I couldnt walk away from for what I needed.I test drove the Tahoe and Yukon but fell in love with the Expedition with this trim. I have a few more payments again but my company compensates me with a monthly stipend for a vehicle plus gas so that helps a lot.Thanks again to Kevin for reaching out to me and listening and finding what I needed but mostly wanted and more importantly, making it work. This place is a joke and extremely unprofessional. I spoke to 5 different people in an hour. I confirmed with all 5 that the two vehicles I wanted to see were actual there on the lot. All 5 people confirmed they were indeed there and available to test drive and purchase. I drove 45 min to get there to have the “VIP Manager” say that neither of the vehicles I asked about were there, even though 5 people confirmed it. What a waste of time and a scam. He wanted to talk price though on vehicles he didn’t have or foresee having in the next month. Unorganized, untrustworthy and unprofessional. Never will I buy a car from them

NO SAFETY INSPECTIONS DONE ON USED VEHICLES. STAY AWAY! This could literally save your life!I just purchased a used 2017 Expedition. I flew in, and drove home over 5 hours.The vehicle checked every box I was looking for.A couple days later the brakes are thumping and hardly stopping. So i take it in. And the rotors are so warn they are below the legal 3mm thickness thats allowed. So the shop legally could not.ley me drive away with brakes in that condition!!3 days after my purchase, I have to spend 750.00 on all new brakes and rotors.In addition to that. Once the mechanics are doing the brakes, they see the front strut bolts are literally hanging out. Remember, I flew in and drove over 5 hours home for this vehicle.This could have been prevented if this dealership had done a proper safety check prior to selling a used vehicle with 40k miles.I have kept my old pads and rotors, I will post pictures if possible.Just a few extras to point out. Oil was black and due for change. Air filter was black and needed to be changed, wipers were absolutely horrible.And I had a quarter tank of gas when leaving the dealership.Do yourself a favor. And do not buy used vehicles here. It could literally save your life.

Bought a used 2019 Ford Escape from Jeff Dunn. I have a 2 year old that was going to be tagging along so I wanted to get as much or all negotiating and leg work done over the phone. Allie (who was equally delightful and helpful) in customer care gladly got me over to Jeff who understood where I wanted to be on both the car and trade in and worked quickly and hard to get me a great deal on a great car quickly. Go see Jeff and the whole crew at Bill Kay Ford and enjoy your new car!! Bill the business manager was super efficient with the paperwork as well was in and out of his office within 10-15 minutes no pushy last minute sales tactics at all. They didn’t even mind when my little man honked all the horns and ran laps around the cars.

3rd awful experience. Never returning. I get my tires rotated by the mechanic department. I got a flat tire today… they put the incorrect size of lug nuts on my tires so the tool that came with my spare tire was unable to help me. Talk about a half hour ordeal turning into an all day issue thanks to their negligence.

By far the worst dealership I’ve ever been to and seen. From dirty Ceiling tiles to bad customer service I’d steer clear away from this dealership. I live 6+ Hours away from the dealership. Drove there overnight on false pretenses of a deal that was worked out before I got there. Upon arrival they’re changing the deal and threatening to send me 6 hours back home. After I prove myself and force on the deal they committed to I finally took the car home. Then they call me asking for more money to sweeten then deal on there end a few days later. If possible. Steer clear stay away. Drive the extra hour to get your car happily in a good dealership.

My husband and I were calling to inquire on a vehicle from another state. The hours advertised on the website show there were three hours until closing. We wanted to drive down and complete the purchase first thing tomorrow morning. After waiting on hold for twenty minutes without an answer, or even general greeting from a receptionist, the system hung up on us. Severely dissatisfied and disappointed. Customer service is a key indicator to the experience you are buying into. Not much else to say regarding that.

Bought a 2020 F150 on Labor Day. Called ahead in the morning, knew exactly which truck I wanted. They confirmed they had it, I told them I would be there in the afternoon and to get it cleaned up. Got there and the truck was parked up front, ready to go. We test drove it then got down to business. No BS. No games. Fair offer for the trade. Good price for the truck. In and out in a couple of hours and my salesman even helped me transfer a hardware component from my old car to the truck. Definitely recommend if you just want a simple sale without any games.

On Saturday I made an offer on a Jeep Cherokee and, since I was located out of town, I offered to make a deposit until I could wire transfer funds the following Monday. The offer was accepted (I have written proof of their acceptance) and I forwarded all my information so they could prepare the paperwork. On Monday I contacted the dealership to finalize the paperwork. My salesman, Juan, responded that they had sold the car later in the day on Saturday. I told him I had already made a deal and the dealership had accepted my offer. His response was we got more money for it (I have written proof of this comment as well).Obviously the dealership and staff do not honor their word and lack integrity. I highly recommend you avoid them.

I was greeted at the door by Mark the used car manager instead of telling me where service was he actually walked me back there and introduced me to the service department.I spoke to a guy named PJ that was very informative and very friendly. There used to be a guy named Mike Jackson hat worked here. Real classy guy, if you ask me. He helped me and my wife find a car that was perfect for our family a few years ago. But when I came back for servicing, he wasnt there so I asked to talk with the manager - his name was Mark or something close to it. The guy was coked out of his mind, barely stringing together sentences as I asked him about what oil would be best for my car. By the end of the conversation his eyes looked blood shot and ready to pop out of his head, and he was sweating profusely. For those looking for a new car, DONT GO TO BILL KAY!

Was on my way to another Ford dealer when I drove by here. Figured Id stop in and see if they could match the price of where I was heading. Found out that the price shown at the other dealer included rebates that I wouldnt even be eligible for (First Responder, Veteran, etc.). Bill Kay Ford still had all the other manufacturer and ford rebates that I was eligible for taken off the MSRP. It wouldve cost me more at the other dealer. It was a seemingly smooth process. Mike D was on his game. He walked me throught the entire process effortlessly. Id highly recommend anybody to go buy a car from Mike. He also got the service department to look at my current car and give me a great price on my trade in, way more than I thought it was worth. I couldnt have asked for a better car buying experience. Be careful with the people form this dealer. If they will tell u how much is going to be to repair your car tell them to give u in writing. I didn’t and the difference was 1800+$ and They didn’t do all I told them to do I left without oil change because they forgot. So my advice to you use another dealer.They are liars

This dealership is pretty straightforward. You tell them what you need, theyll try their best to meet your expectation. My agent Juan is wonderful in terms of customer service. When it comes to price, theyll give you the best price they can. I am happy with the price I am paying. However, I am from out of state and have some special scenario. I have to go back and forth to work with Mark for the paperwork. Overall, they did a wonderful job to serve their customers. I highly recommend this dealership.

We have always bought our vehicles here and only had one bad experience. This experience on Saturday was handsdown the best. My mom at 77 needed a car. ( We went to Chevy dealership the day before. And it sucked). Our salesperson at Kaye just listened carefully about what she needed and how much she could afford. Finance and our salesman totally did it unlike Webb Chevy. She left very satisfied. They let her drive the car twice to be sure it was what she wanted. Even finance was amazing. Thank you again for making this experience a good one.

Stay away. They will not honor the prices listed online and will treat you with no respect. Typical Ford dealership where salesmen are trained to deceive customers so they pay more. If you would like to lose your respect, this is the place to be. I heard the big sales manager saying to a customer “you should feel lucky you are still here”. I don’t know if any salesman should say something like that to a customer.

Set up an appointment to test drive and then purchase a car during Covid. When we arrived, wearing masks, some random people were sitting in the car we were about to test drive, without masks. No sales people, including the manager, were wearing masks. No desks were spread out and no hand sanitizer to be found. Absolutely no social distancing. On several occasions I told our salesman to back away. He told us he really didn’t believe in doing any of that...apparently neither did anyone in the showroom. This was during Phase 2. Masks required. Social distancing required.

Went to the dealership today to look at a used car on the lot. I was told the person I was emailing with wasnt a salesman so Juan took over. Had a bad feeling from the start. He first told me that he had to put my information in the system. We sat down at the desk and without answering my questions or even allowing me to look inside the vehicle he asked if we could close this deal today. I said that wouldnt be possible, that I was interested in making a cash offer and that I wanted to look at all the information and come back. He gave me a sour face and said why not? Maybe he was judging the fact that I walked into the dealership with a t-shirt and jeans on? I then asked for the carfax, he pulled it up on the screen and I asked if he could print it for me. I wasnt about to make a rush decision with this much money. He gave me a hard time and then told me that it costs money to print a carfax, I had to ask him if it costs money to print each carfax to which he replied it cost money in ink to which I was shocked. I then asked if I should ask another salesperson to print it for me. He then said to me I dont think we are seeing eye to eye here. I immediately got up and asked for the sales manager. The next guy that helped printed me a carfax and told me the car was on the lot for 1 month. I asked to see the service record from when they had the car looked at when they bought it from the auction. They had yet to perform this inspection. Its pretty clear that they are in the business of flipping cars for profit without doing any work to them. Not sure how they fairly priced a car that they never even had the service department view. I walked out immediately because I realized this dealership was shady. Now I understand why this dealership has less than a 4 star review average. There are better dealerships in the area, take your time and find one that will care about you and the vehicle they are selling you.

I went there and got an oil change, the werks package, they did not inspect my brakes. Which was part of the package. A few days after I got the job done, I learned that I needed an immediate all around brake job done. Something that they was supposed do! The time before that, I got an oil change, they lost my key to my car! I had to wait a few days before they found it! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THEM FOR ANY WORK THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE ON MY CAR!

I recently had an issue with the hood being jammed on my Ford Taurus. I couldn’t open it to save my life. I took it to the service department at Bill Kay Ford on 4/11/19 and the service techs there were awesome. Special shout-out to journeyman Keith, as well as Christian, Daniel and Brad. Those guys literally spent the better part of an hour troubleshooting the issue. They figured out how to open the hood and found the underlying issue and fixed that as well.Those guys are a credit to that service dept. It should be noted though that in the many times I’ve visited Bill Kay’s service dept in Midlothian, I’ve never had a problem. They’ve always gone above and beyond. But today, those guys really helped me out and I appreciate it. Also, thanks to the friendly guys at the service and parts desk, who made sure I got helped ASAP. They’re always easy to deal with and very helpful.

Warning to all Women: I thought going to a dealership I would receive the best service for the car I took in for service but found out they were charging by the hour for work that was not being performed at all. I guess I was proven wrong by this particular location. It’s sad that a woman can not take a car in and expect you to live up to the honesty written on your walls. Shame on the manager for the way he spoke to me when I simply inquired about my service and services offered. The one star is for the employees who really were there to do their job and I appreciate their time and professionalism, but management in the service Dept needs to be retrained on honesty and integrity. No one likes to be taken advantage of or disrespected and for this to come from the manager!!! Everyone is a person and should be treated as you would like your mother daughter or sister treated. Came in to look at a truck and we didn’t understand the way pricing went. Hence our first time buying a brand new exspensive truck when asked what car note price we were looking for we said 3-4hundred. Our sales men Juan was extremely polite in explaining the process and that we may want to look at something cheaper. After all is said and done the Sales MANAGER Jeremy (JT) is in the corner shocked at the car note price range we were looking at and began making a huge scene. Literally in the corner with his other three employees laughing at us and talking very loud about the price range we were looking into. I can not believe how unprofessional he was. Just disgusting. All in all we were going to return to purchase a Ford Taurus instead of the truck. But he just lost out on a 13,000$ deal. People in customer service should watch the attitude. I called just to ask his name and corporates number and he started snapping off at me so I hung up.

Went to buy a 2006 Chevy Colorado had check in hand. Test drove one last time. Got back to dealership check engine light came on. Got the sales person to have it check out. They told us it a Chevy and has 172k miles on it and is sold as is. Ask to have machine hook up to see what the problem is. They told us they wouldn’t do it because it was a Chevy. We drove from Indiana to buy it. Told us we would have to take it to a Chevy dealer. Couldn’t drive it back home to Indiana with light on. Seems like they didn’t care. Salesman was very nice and truck was what we wanted. Very nice truck. It’s a shame we really wanted it. Would not recommend buying a used vehicle from them.

Set a appointment up for a oil change and rotate so nothing major quick service yet I was in for over a hour and a half service adviser never came and told me when my vehicle was ready and I had to ask about any recommendations as he did not tell me any when I needed tires and brakes but was not told and when I asked about getting my recall done for the air bag rob told me to contact ford and when I asked if he could write me a ticket for parts or what else I needed to do for my recall he told me to call ford even thou they are supposed to set up the recall for you rob was very rude the entire time with horrible service and when I called to talk to the service manager about my experience he said the best he could do to make up for it was a 25 dollar oil change at their cost when their cost is below that I will never set foot back in that dealership after the terrible experience they obviously do not care about the customer because they do not want to resolve any issues service manger I do not recommend going here even if it was free if I could give zero stars I would

Great service!I was concerned about my approval chances because of my two year old closed auto loan reflecting negatively on my credit report. But after speaking with Dustin the GM and working with Stan the sales rep I was reassured. Stan kept me in the loop throughout the entire process 11am-4pm, from start to finish. Mark from finance was great at explaining the terminology to me and provided contact info in case additional questions were thought of at a later time.I really enjoyed the attentiveness and time spent from Bill Kay. Good Job!Oh yeah... I drove off the lot in a truck with a monthly payment similar to my previous car.Ask for STAN... He likes blueberry pancakes!

I stopped by Bill Kay to find a dependable used vehicle for my kid to use at school. We were looking for any one of 4 cars, but it had to be a manual transmission. During our research, we had a challenge locating one of these cars with a stick shift. We spoke with Fred, the general manager, and he asked us if we could give him a week to see what he could locate. Since we had been looking for a few weeks anyway, we agreed. In just 2 days, Fred called me and said that he found a car on our list. We drove down from Bolingbrook and saw a car in great shape with low mileage! Even better, the price for the car was right in line with others that we saw online. After working out the deal, we drove home with the car an hour-and-a-half later. I was so impressed with how we were treated. It was a no pressure sale, and we knew that we got a good price. I will be back down the road, and I recommend Bill Kay Ford.

The entire staff was incredibly honest, helpful, and courteous in selling the Explorer at a more than fair price and giving me a fair price for my trade in vehicle. It was definitely worth the extra hour drive to deal with Bill Kay Ford. I broke the side mirror on my 2017 Ford Fusion. I initially called Sutton Ford in Matteson because it was close to my job. They wanted to over charge me to do a five minute job. I contacted Bill Kay Ford, where I bought the car and was helped by Dean in parts and Robert in service. They helped me with getting the mirror and installation for a fair price. My experience was great as always and this is why I pass two ford dealerships to come to Bill Kay Ford.

Happy with the used vehicle I got at Bill Kay, and their sales staff. My salesman, Daniel Wood, let me browse the lot and was there to be helpful with my questions, didnt try to steer me toward or away from any purchase. Theyd get five stars if they had offered to repair a minor defect in the weatherstripping under a window, but I didnt notice it until days after I purchased. Said to take it to a body shop. Way it goes I guess.

We had been looking for a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee for a while. My current car died and we were in serious need. We had been to a few other Used Car lots with promising cars, and even almost purchased from a dealer by our house, but something just wasnt right. Ill tell you what it was, it was the slimy Used Car Dealers we were working with. They lied to us multiple times and treated me like crap. I told my husband I would not deal with them, so we started our search again. This lead to Bill Kay Ford and their Used Cars. We went and saw this car and bought it the same day! The people we worked with were FANTASTIC. Very nice, very knowledgeable, wonderful people to work with. They got us an AMAZING interest rate, treated us like humans (both of us, not just my husband because hes a man), and we couldnt be happier. Every time we need a car, we are going right to Bill Kay!

There was a slight glitch with the price at the beginning but the salesperson, Paul Degrazia, took care of it. The best experience Ive had buying a car. Started the process online and was contacted immediately with a v.m. and email by Allie. I emailed her 3 cars I was looking at online and went in the next morning where I was greeted at the door by Jeff who had everything ready to go. I chose my car, they gave me a fair price on my trade-in and then Mark H. finished off the financing very quickly and straightforward, explaining things along the way. . The whole process was 3 hours, I never felt pressured and all of my options were explained to me clearly throughout. Jeff also took the time to show me the features on the car and gave me his card for any future questions/needs. Highly recommended!

Dont know about new cars, but I definitely dont recommend buying used cars from them. They either dont check them or they are very sloppy. Bought a truck, had a small coolant leak and squeals like crazy. Brought it back a week later and they fixed the leak and wanted to charge me $300 dollars for it(replaced a collar for a hose). ended up at $60. Checked the break pads and said they were fine. Car still squeals like crazy, they didnt actually care to look for the problem. And in traffic car still overheats. So basically just stay away or be very careful when buying a used car from them

Went to look at a Certified Pre Owned (CPO)2015 Ford Escape which I saw on Car Gurus as a Fair Deal. I had my son take it for a test drive while I was in the passenger seat. Upon stopping the vehicle the front brakes kept making a thumping noise. Ive worked on cars before and know that the rotors were warped. Car was nice so I decided to see if they would fix so I can buy it but I was wrong. Left the dealer very annoyed that a dealership would claim to have a car listed as CPO and need rotors or brakes. Sale Manager came by and tried to tell me that as you drive it it would get better. Left and told him if a car is certified these problems should not exist. This car should not be listed as CPO and what kind of BS are you trying to pull. Will never do business with this dealership.

I recently purchased a brand new 2016 Ford Explorer from Joe Tudela over at Bill Kay Ford. I have read some of the reviews on Google and was skeptical at 1st. They have a completely new staff in place there now and i must say they are SPOT ON!!! I was welcomed to the dealership after i made an appointment to come in and test drive the new Explorer.Prior to the test drive I was given a walk around demonstration of the vehicle highlighting all the main points of the car. It covered under the hood, safety features, and all the little ins and outs of the car!Ive purchased quite a few cars in my time from new to used and i must say Ive never felt better about a purchase in awhile. Not only did they have the best online prices but the entire staff was friendly and willing to help. The finance manager even had coloring books and crayons for my kids to play with while we wrapped up the paper work. This was my best car buying experience and will be doing all my future cars shopping there!!!!!!! Thanks Guys
