Couldn’t ask for better service from a hardware/ supply store prompt, friendly, and educated staff make the experience fast and easy to get back to the job site. The only place to stop for in Midlothian/ Ellis county for your hardware/ home supply/ or construction needs.

Welcome at the door and 2 employees asked if I needed help. Everything is well organized and I love the store.

Easy to spot because of the ace hardware sign. Customer service is okay some workers are helpful and other are not (this is why I rated it 3 stars)

Stood in a long line patiently only to be told by Lisa, the girl at the register that we would need to go back and find the prices for the loose bolts and washers we had. When we told her we couldn’t find any pens to do that the other clerk that was helping someone else told her to go ahead and look them up for us, so obviously they are able to do this. She said “ everyone else could find them” OK.... we will just go to McCoys next time. They’re nice there 😊

Markel was very helpful and able to match my paint to the sample I brought into Higginbothams. It was a perfect match.

It was a seamless purchasing experience. I called Aaron and asked if he could do me a favor to have a grill assembled and delivered at a specific day and time, and he didn’t disappoint. I am from out of state, and needed to ensure that I trusted a company that would deliver the goods, I hit gold on this one! Great customer service, I highly recommend this Ace location.

No one here seems to want to be helpful, people were sitting down not asking if they could help find anything, I had a sales person walk past me with out speaking. The girl that took my money didnt say thank you, I dont know why I bother posting, nothing changes, who trains sales people anymore?

I ordered a grill on 10/16/2019. Was promised an assembled and delivered grill on 10/19/2019. Checked in store on 10/19 and was informed by the manager that the grill missed the delivery truck that it would be delivered on 10/26/2019. Checked again today (10/26/2019) Grill is in the building but they are too busy to assemble it. After contacting ACE customer service the grill was assembled and delivered. The gentleman that delivered was quite helpful and very courteous.

I will give them my business from now on. Really good service.

Excellent customer service and always have what I need. Oscar was super helpful when I had to special order paint. Its like Cheers for the everyday handyman lol! I like being remembered and helped according to my needs.

Higginbotham in Midlothian will not disappoint. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Every time I go in there, they greet me and ask how they can help me. As a result, I am a loyal customer. If you are one who prefers a local feel over the big box stores, I enthusiastically recommend Higginbotham.

Weekend staff is helpful but had to stop in to get a special chrome washer as they were one short on Saturday. One of the managers told me the truck would be there on Monday and they would have the bins replenished in the late afternoon. I just stopped in and one of the workers stated that the chrome washer I was looking for comes in small boxes and he couldnt go get one and to stop back in at the end of the week. I guess I will go to another ACE Hardware to see if they can help.

The folks are always kind and helpful. They will always be my first hardware stop.

Friendly folks. Needed some shovels for a job. Looked around a bit and saw it was a really nice local hardware store. In and out quick so next time we have work out there and we need something I will stop by again.

For a small town, small store they dont have the same selection as the box stores do so I cant get everything there that I want. However, they have just about the best customer service you can expect. I have gone on many occasions as we relocated from another State and my husband hadnt joined me yet. I got excellent assistance, advice and information. If they didnt have it the man there was very knowledgeable about where and what to try. So glad we have them in our town!

Higginbotham Brothers in Midlothian is an Ace Hardware affiliate. The parking is good, the store is very clean, well stocked and organized. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was surprised by the selection of RV repair parts. They also refill propane tanks. And since the are affiliated with Ace, they now carry Craftsman brand tools.

Employees were very courteous and helpful. I gave a 1 star rating because the building has an Ace Hardware Logo on it, but when I went in and tried to use a gift card from ACE HARDWARE, I was informed that they did not accept Ace gift cards. Then why have their logo on your building. Rather misleading, dont you think?

Called about a battery for a Stihl chainsaw. Was informed they had one left. I asked them to hold it, gave a name, and told them I was on my way. They said they would. After driving from Seagoville, I was told by Trevor, they just sold it. Unbelievable! Really appreciated the waste of time and fuel. Could have driven to Mesquite where they had 3 and didnt because I specifically asked them to hold it.

I have been shopping here for years. This is a great Small Town hardware store, and their prices are fair for most things. The staff are super friendly and always helpful. Just check their hours, as they open early and close early.

Oscar in the paint department is very knowledgeable.He has great tips on available paints and products. Paint prices are competitive and this Ace carries 3 different name brands including Valspar.

Went to get several bags of mulch and needed help loading. Nobody showed up so I got it loaded myself. Maybe a lazy HS kid in the back for all I know. Really wanted to like this place like the Ace in the town we moved from.

They never have what you need. They rarely honor ACE paint sales. 2 times I have been there the employees didnt know or didnt care. Im done with them. Home depot it is...

Would give zero starts if it were an option. Made a phone call to specifically ask if they had what I was looking for. The girl who answered the phone put me on hold and came back and said yes we have that. Drove up there and couldnt find it, when I asked the response given to me wasSorry. Complete waste of time and a total lack of customer service. Very disappointing.

Im contractor an electrician and this is my first stop before I go anywhere else- Lowes, Home Depot, Elliot electric supplies. No I still want these places but my first stop is always going to be Ace.
