Its a small location and therefore it had a small selection. I wanted cross stitch supplies. They only had a very limited selection. Other than that, everyone was nice and the store was neat.

Let me start off by saying that every other previous experience I have ever had here has been great. I live 5 minutes from here and I’m a frequent shopper. On 2/27, my husband and I walked in, we were greeted by the front staff and we proceeded to walk to the foam/cushions isle. We grabbed a long cushion that needed to get cut in half so we decided to stop and ask Ms. Beverly, whom was working the fabric section, if she could cut it for us. This is where my visit experience became irritable. Beverly told us that she could only cut it if we pay for it first. We told her it would be perfectly fine. Beverly then said she would print a ticket and we would need to pay before she is able to cut the cushion. AGAIN, we said that’s fine. Beverly then told us it would be $49 for the cushion. (At this point I was clearly aware of the price and had no issue what so ever paying for the cushion). After she told us the price we communicated to her that the price is fine. Beverly then printed the ticket and told us to go to the front and pay for the cushion so that she can cut it. My husband and I walked to the front and handed the cashier our ticket. The cashier looked confused and asked what we were purchasing. We informed her that we were purchasing cushion and we were told that we needed to pay before it got cut. The cashier looked confused and mentioned that she had never heard of this before.I honestly felt that we were being discriminated against by Beverly. We are Hispanic living in a prominently white town. I don’t know if she felt that we couldn’t afford this, but it sure made me feel that way. I don’t understand why we had to be told so many times that we would need to pay for the cushion before it got cut. I only hope that she doesn’t treat other customers the same way.

Jo-Anns is the best fabric store around here

This location of Joann has incredibly helpful and friendly staff - I always feel comfortable asking questions when it comes to recommendations for my projects and crafts. They make me feel heard without making me feel down about the difficulties Im having with any given project. The location itself is bright and clean with a wide selection of fabrics and accessories.

I am so happy there is a Joanns near my hometown so when I come to visit my mom she and I go here instead of all the way to Arlington.

Loved this store. My 17 yr old is a seamstress and it was easy for her to find what she needed. The staff wasnt that friendly but we are use to it because we are black.

No one around to assist. Much less selection of crafts, even yarn crafts than I would hsve thought.

They have great deals on if you catch them at the right time. I caught a deal where I was able to buy an $800 sewing machine for just $400. They also had buy 3 and get 2 sewing thread bobbins for free. The staff there were kind and professional, despite it being late when I came in. Ill definitely return my business here again in the future.

Good selection of crafting and sewing supplies. Some items are more readily available online though. Often, the in-store associates are not well versed in their stock. Have been able to find items that the associates tell me they dont have.

Great selection. Great customer service. The BEST cricut and vinyl price sales. One of my favorite craft stores to go to. Highly recommend. Also join their app and you are allowed to use double coupons.

If you like/love Joanns then youll like/love this one. Its not the store. However, this location is by far the worse Joanns that I have ever been in. The customer service is worth a 0, but I didnt have that option. Unfortunately, its the only place near me with fabulous fabric options. If Hobby Lobby had more fabric choices I would never visit this Joanns location again. The employees all seem to hate themselves. I literally walked away from the cutting table and left the fabric because the young lady didnt seem to want to be there. Everything from her body language to the lack of words. She didnt even ask me how many yards I wanted....just stared at me.

Everyone know is 10 person limit. And people come with kids. Waiting time. Come on. Be smart. To get in take at least 2hrs

This is a lovely clean store, Beautiful layout, Plenty of room between isles, good selection, the prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and they have great sales. Better yarn selection than local competitors.

At age 58 I got my first sewing machine. Not only do they have a spectacular array of fabrics, they have the knowledge and the desire to share and help. And so do the other customers! Its one huge family of sisters, mothers, aunts, cousins, and a grandma here or thereAnd everybody shares craft ideas too! What a wide variety of crafts!Dont forget to throw in a few aisles of seasonal decorations

This Joanns is much smaller than the ones Im used to visiting, however, it has just about the right amount of almost everything (in smaller quantities) as the big store. I crochet so Im happy with the yarn selections available, but they do not carry a wedding section. Its convenient ly located, thats why I go here. Sometimes the line is long, but just tell them, and theyre happy to get more cashiers on at front.

The folks at the Midlothian store are excellent, I just wish that the Company had made this a full store. If I want more fabric varieties I still have to drive to Arlington, but this store is good for basic needs.

Walked in looking for painting supplies and most were sold out looked through entire store and found nothing I wanted. I will save my trips to go to Michaels or Hobby Lobby until after the pandemic.

I shop here once a year and this location is new. Usually they are consistent but not this time. The fabric was priced at 3.99 regular price not on sale but was ringing up 5.99 and for whatever reason she could not adjust it. Ok, whatever, but I go to check out and the manager was less than friendly. Every one is entitled to a bad day just not on my dime. Ill make the drive to a more selective fabric store next time.

Everyone is always so nice and helpful. Only bad thing and this seems to be everywhere, they have cinnamon pinecones in the entryway so it takes your breath away when you first step in the door.

I had to hunt down an employee to cut my fabric. Then I had to wait until the cashier came back to the register. This is not how my visit goes normally. Both were very nice and apologetic. Just an average customer service experience in retail these days.
