Truck rental process, box & moving purchases all went perfectly at the Verity location in Middletown. Customer Service all 4 times with 3 different people in person were all smooth, friendly, and professional. Thank you for making my moving experience positive. Will be returning.

All the U-Haul in this area is a joke know one wants to answer the phone it rings 5 times and it cuts off and this is the Middletown and Hamilton stores I thout it was my phone but two store different numbers the same thing and I used to work at U-Haul and never had servis that poor

Jake at Middletown UHaul made my appointment for my install of hitch quick and on scheduled time. He was very kind and made sure we were comfortable while we waited. It took them 30 minutes from the time I arrived to checking out and leaving. They did an awesome job!

Poor customer service. Avoid this place. Had gone there to get the trailer hitch installed. But they ended up ruining my entire day. They couldnt accommodate few minutes of delay in the scheduled appointment. They made me drive back and forth never answered phone properly. On the contrary the store in Dayton at 3rd Street was very accommodating. They got the job done in less time and were very professional. I would avoid this particular store at all cost. Just suck up and go to Daytons office for a much better customer service and experience

Upon return the office was not open at the scheduled time it was SUPPOSED TO BE! I had to fumble through checking in on the mobile app. I called customer service to make sure it showed me as checked out. This location still charged me the after hour fee and overcharged me on gas. This was not a good experience and great customer service at this location is lacking. I am a blogger and will be leaving reviews on yelp, yahoo and google. I was not happy about the breakdown in equipment! I had to call for service the night prior to my equipment return. Sadly, I will be searching for another Middletown location to patronize even though the 230 Verity Parkway location is less than a mile from my new residence. My suggestions for a better customer experience would be to open the office on time, if the phone disconnects when talking to a customer, use their number in the reservation and CALL THEM BACK at the least, and lastly slow down and give the right readings (GAS) on the equipment. I was overcharged and unhappy. Note: Every customer service representative I came in contact with (6 different ones in 2-days) was SUPERB!

Make sure you inspect truck before leaving. I rented a 20 foot truck and when I opened up to load it, the cargo bay, I was overwhelmed by the smell of raw garbage. Someone had obviously used it to transport trash. The location did not respond to my complaint. I will no longer use uhaul when I move.

Most people arent wearing masks around here and they wouldnt allow me in to purchase something. What was puzzling was that one employee wasnt wearing one. Also, I asked if I could call them pay for the hitch over the phone and they could leave it outside for me and they wouldnt even do that. I dont understand why that wouldnt of been acceptable, that would of been zero contact but ill glady take my business elsewhere for here on out!

I made a reservation ahead of time and I get a call the day before I go pick up the truck saying that there’s a high volume of people trying to get uhaul and they expect me to drive three hours to pick up a uhaul

Our experience was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They explained to us and helped us load our suv on to the auto transport and made sure that we were good to go for our travel and highlighted all the important information we needed to know. I highly recommend them.

Unbelievable customer service. Extremely helpful and considerable. They assisted me with choosing the truck. I forgot my garage door opener in the truck. They called me and three months later, after I remembered. They still had the opener. The only store I use.

The staff is unprofessional and need more training. They are blatantly rude and if it werent for the fact that this is a small town with very minimal options, I dont think they would have many customers. Regardless, the actual facility is decent, the storage spaces could be better though. Also, I sincerely believe that the people posting pics of the nice trucks work here. Those trucks dont look like that for real. They will rent you a truck that is scratched or rusted and then try to charge you for it. Luckily, they didnt get any extra money from me as I used a prepaid card and only placed the balance needed for the rental. Ive used this service twice and unfortunately both times werent pleasant. Im sure there are some cool ppl that work here though. I just suggest when you go to rent from them, dont use your main bank card. Only have what you need for the rental on your card.

Made a reservation for storage and they didn’t tell me the place closed before the Uhaul location so I almost had no where to put my stuff that night. Luckily Tammy at Secure EZ Storage took care of me and stayed over. Need great customer service go see or call her for storage.

Because we forgot to plan ahead, we ran out of propane for our grill on Easter Sunday. Our normal place was closed and I thought our cookout over before it started. Googled places that sell propane just to see... it said this Uhaul in Middletown did. I took a chance and went there and they were open and DID have a young man working that filled our tanks! Thank you Nathaniel for saving our cookout!

The most ridiculous return process I have ever had to go through. App crashed consistently, web browser wouldn’t accept authorization codes over and over. Process took well over a half an hour with the faulty codes. Would not use this location again..

Rented a storage unit April 15th. Unfortunately did not see the unit prior to renting it... Big mistake. We thought It was a unit where you drive through a gate and pull right up to the garage door. Not so. We Didnt get around to moving stuff until May 17. New month starts on the 15th. We paid Mays rent on May 8. We got to the unit only to find that you walk into a building and have to go thru corridor after corridor of rows of units and upstairs to get to the unit. When we finally arrived there was a small door.. It would have been a nightmare to store all our stuff. We went to close the account and all of they could refund us some money. They said theres a 3 day grace period, but because we paid early, they couldnt refund may

The wait time is super slow however, the staff is great! They know exactly what they are doing! Great management! I have used several locations and this particular location at least 4 times and will always now choose this location. The heat however is out of hand! Had to wait outside so I wouldnt pass out the last time I was there.

Best place to get moving items..tape, boxes and packing wrap. Very friendly!

Horrible customer service! I rented a dolly and was told (when I specifically asked)if I didn’t get it back in 24 hours if they prorated per hour and the young lady said yes but don’t worry if it’s close to the time. I returned it 37 minutes past the time due and was charged for a full day! Jacob Gross, Manager replies that I coukd t have been told that and refused to refund my money.

Double charged me cause no-one bothered to explain to me there was a drop off box for the keys when they was closed. The guy I think was the manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. He actually hung the phone up on me.

The manager Jacob and staff Were very friendly. My fiance and I were in jam during our moving week with several things went wrong outside of our business with uhaul. The manager helped us out so much. We rented a small truck and ended up needing a bigger one they upgraded us at no extra charge. I ended up having to put some of our stuff into storage and he offered a free month storage for us to help out because of our situation Im super thankful because i was running out of options. I have used uhaul before but this was one of the best experiences with them they will continue to get my business. Dont hesitate if your looking for help uhaul is the place. Kiwanda was amazing! Ive never rented a uhaul before and she walked me through the process and different pricing available! And even mentioned I could rent a dolly! ( would have never thought of asking for that)She also let me set up a reservation for the truck with a free cancelation fee if anything changes! Great customer service!!:)

As Usal, The worst store in Ohio. went to rent a truck on 1-26-18 in Miamisburg, got shifted to Middeltown verity store, I asked for another location none available. I stressed to the Uhaul employee that called me that i wanted no part of the store due to their reputation for scamming customers.. so i went there Rented truck, apon return the girl walked around truck got to pass side rear, yelled for her coworker, As he walked to her from behind she asked this wasnt there was it? Before he saw or was even all the way around to get a clear view he said No i walked it this am and checked. And i walked around to see there was a mark top of truck and traces of rust on it. That means PRIOR SCRATCH. so i argued it, The girl called her manager to explain 2 men checked it day before that worked there. Long story short, They charged me 386.00 This is the absolute worst Uhaul store in Ohio. The employees are unprofessional to say the least... CONSUMERS BEWARE. You go here take a video of the truck. If not they rip you off

I came in at 1130ish (the last minute on my time) on Sat and needed a 1-7/8 hitch ball with a long shank/stem and they had it for less than I expected and got right to me saving me a trip to Wal(fkg)Mart or elsewhere and saved me gas AND TIME! Cashiers are easy on the eyes too and friendly

I have been getting my propane tank filled here since they have had the refillable gas....they said they would not fill it cause it was not there tank....???? Strange cause i got it filled two weeks ago so whats the problem now

They will take every penny you have, the general manager Jake is a joke, a flat out coward, he hides from any issue he can, and will NOT return any phone calls, he needs FIRED!!! HORRIBLE manager!!! And dont care if they damage your stuff, you are still responsible for it and then they still charge you for THEM MESSING UP YOUR STUFF, and their insurance is also a joke!!! Just a way to make extra money! Truck was well maintained.

Had a brake controller and plug installed and they done a horrible job and cost me a deposit at the camp ground and a tow truck because the guy had to come out and get my brakes unlocked. Spent $300+ and they gave me $75 bucks back and wouldnt give anymore. Also had to pay $58+$60 and had to keep it in hamilton uhaul the whole next day to get truck fixed. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!

Terrible service! Rented 2 wheel car dolly, it was in rough shape, plus lights didnt work. Customer-service didnt do their job correctly, then charged me for their mistake(s)! I will never use this location again!

They take 15-25 minutes just to make a payment. When you pay by card you risk having to pay extra $ for no reason.

Charged me $171.00 for a $10 tail light on a tow dolly.

I called to get a hitch installed on my car and the lady was rude and hung up on me when I explained I didnt have 4 to 5 business days to wait for the part to come in!
