Smith & Bishel: That is another name that has been around for as long as I can remember. At one time they were located at: 246 MAIN STREET. Today, they have a fair selection but, price wise I think that they are a little on the high side. But, as far as I know GOOD SERVICE.

STAY AWAY!! VERBALLY ASSAULTED! Overall my experience was purely horrible and distressing. The service tech belittled me for not being able to describe my lock out, asking why I couldnt find a user manual and figure it out on my own and If i could read and kept making comments over the fact He was brought out here for a waste of time As I felt uncomfortable being around him after his foul language and demeanor I proceeded to walk away and was cursed at and called a derogatory name. Will never do business with this company nor will I recommend to anyone - instead I will ensure everyone I know in Central CT stays away and even contemplating escalating this matter so proper authorities are warned of this encounter.

This is my go to place for keys. I got tired of getting key copies that rarely work. Ive had a couple times that someone tried to break in to my house & they ruined the lock. My son replaced it & then we had to get about 8 keys each time for everybody to have one. 3 years later I have yet to get a key from this guy that does NOT work! He is friendly & very good. Yes, they cost a little more, but spending ANYTHING for something that doesnt work is silly.

Went there and it is closed because they went to do a “lock job” never coming back again.
