I love this place. I cant wait until they open the one on route 40. I always purchase my salmon from here because they have the best bargains.

Less fresh baking goods missing the German creme swirls, Kaiser rolls, fitness rolls (with seeds), German Reyes and multi grain breads. Also the cheese variety is going down....no the good mini camemberts or chesty other European cheeses. In the yogurt aisle are the Skyr (Quark) is missing.For our needs its less and less since they opened ....too much cheap not healthy stuff ....which you can get anywhere else.

I usually shop at their Exton location. This one was bigger and strangely stocked. Chicken was almost completely sold out. We kept hearing registers closing. By the time we were ready to check out, very few registers were open. I thought they were leaving. They werent. They were racing to restock the store.

The best part about this grocery store is not the groceries but the cool items youll find for camping and the appliances that are in the overstock aisle. I recently purchased a hiking/camping bag that would normally cost you over $150 but there it was $80. Very quality stuff.The groceries themselves arent very spectacular which is why I only gave them four stars but the candies and foreign goods are amazing. They have terrific breads as well. Its a great place to go to when youre looking for something but you just dont know what it is until you see it and then you go oh thats amazing.

Less choice, great quality and lower prices. There are also unique b rd ands not found anywhere else. Love bakery and produce selections.

I love Lidl!! The store in Middletown De. Needs major work on the upkeep of their yard. They have beautiful roses growing in front of the handicap parking with ugly weeds mixed in. Such a shame to have a nice store inside and such a wreck outside. Consider getting a company to help keep your landscaping in tact.

I love this place, its kind of high-tech too. Theyve got a lot of items and are very similar to Aldi with the exception of the bakery thats in Lidl. I can usually find some good flowers here and really good selections of Frozen items, as well as house goods. However, there are some key items like sugar-free peanut butter, certain types of chips, and a couple other things I cant remember that they never have, I dont think they stock and is the reason I cant make them my only grocer.

I buy Almond milk here cheapest around, along with a few other things, I pay almost half than at even a Walmart. Cant find everything I need here but definitely a good portion. Worth making more than one stop.

The prices are amazing. I just wish they could resolve their distribution problems and get their 12-grain bread back! We recommend their pork rolls and Korean dumplings.UPDATE: 12-grain bread is back! Yay!

I love Lidl, always find my my favorites & some surprises too..

Definitely some interesting brands. Some that I havent seen since I was a kid. I dont love the check out process because if something rings up incorrectly you have to wait back through the line again.

Clean store, polite cashier, love the baking area, nice selection of food. I like the fact that they also have small shopping cards beside the regular ones

I just had the worst experience ever. I was verbally attacked by an associate I had asked him to move a pallet that was loaded a blocking a whole area, when there was room to move it so people can get by. He had an attitude as he said no. When I asked someone else to speak to a manager, I hear him say he does not give an F. Some who was not the store manager came over and moved the pallet. As I was continuing to shop he verbally started to attack me. Asking what I did for a living and he was going to come and complain, he kept saying he has a 6 figure job and he doesnt give an f. I walked away shaking and finally got a store manager. She apologized and said she wold speak to the associate. I any of my sales people spoke to a customer like he did they would have been written up and sent home. But, no he was now on a register like nothing happened. I am a loyal customer who spends a fair amount monthly and will think twice about going there again.

Used to go to Lidl in Europe and was pleasently surprised to find out they are now in the US. Great products at pocket friendly prices. Only problems are not enough cashiers and weekly specials are not always available on time.

We liked the store and the prices are very good. Got the things on our shopping list and saved a good amount of money.

I’m a huge fan of Lidl. It’s very simplistic - you won’t find multiple brands of chicken, and you have to be OK with store brands - but you can’t beat their prices. We love the store brands of cereal, cheese, chips - honestly found a product we didn’t like.

They are priced higher then a regular Foidlion or Acme & it suppose to bea bargain store

I shop here regularly, and I really want to like this place. The problem is I used to REALLY LIKE this place, and now they only deserve 3 stars, and at the rate theyre going, they might lose more. Quality and pricing is very good. The selection is good.... when and if they have inventory. But checking out is almost always what takes the stars away. One register is open at most all times, creating a long line of customers trying to shop and get out. Their express, check-yourself-out registers only take credit cards, so if you want a hand full of items, and you want to pay cash, youre out of luck.

Fair prices. Wish the baked goods were fully stocked.

Nice, big and open. Plenty of good quality food. Only a few name brand products but the store brand is great. Prices are reasonable and produce is pretty fresh. Does have a bag your own register. But checkout is usually very fast. Did not meet too much of the staff but cashier was friendly.

Ordinarily I would not post a review on a place of business as my opinions are subjective. However, on more than one occasion LIDL has locked its doors prior to 8pm. On one occasion it was as early as half an hour until closing. I understand the need for a business to lock its doors to conduct after hours work. But it should be that, after hours.I gave this 1 star as opposed to 2 because not only were they closed early, the manager was a little rude about it..

It was my first time ever there and I liked it. Good prices and clean store.

Bring your own bags - but you can find great food and great prices. It took us a bit to get used to food that was not brand name, but now we wont go back. The only thing we didnt like here was diapers for my son - but that was a personal preference.

Best prices around! I love, in the days of Covid, that they have lots of cleaning options for your cart, hand sanitizer, and gloves!

Prices are great some of the staff is rude but every place has that. What I do not like is that they force you thru the line to fast and ur basically standing right next to the person trying to get all your things off a belt. With the pandemic going on they need to give people time to gather up there things and move the distance that is suppose to be by cdc rules. They do not sanatze between people using the registers or anything to help out I feel here. The only thing that I see that they have done is provide wipes for the cart. So in all prices good customer service ok helping with cdc regulations horrible.

This Lidl store used to be clean and well kept. Unfortunately it has gone down hill. The bathrooms are filthy, trash cans overflowing, dirt and debris on the checkout belts and throughout the store. The checkout lines are long due to under staffing. The same people who stock the shelves have to run up to man a cash register when they get busy. Theres no express checkout dedicated to people with just a few things like the supermarkets. Ive been in line with a couple of items behind someone with a full cart. Not very considerate. Aldi, across the street, is much more organized and rarely had to wait long in the checkout line and the store is much cleaner.

Great customer service. The lady at check out saw that the sweet peppers I had werent the best. So she had someone go and get some fresher ones!

When reviewing my receipt I became aware that I had been inadvertently charged for three items, of a product of which I only bought two. I went back into the store and found the cashier (he had taken me into his line although his red light was on...), who had already closed his register and was helping with another task out in the shop. He immediately asked me to come back to the front, re-opened his register and refunded my money back onto my card. Mind you; there were extensive queues of people in multiple other lines. So, I did not have to wait in one of those lines for someone to correct this error. That is customer service! Thank you!!

It was great...they were giving out free ice cream (ice pops, ice cream bars and sandwiches)to the kids to celebrate their last day of school. The store is clean,the staff is friendly and helpful. The bakery is amazing and their prices are fairly low. Dont forget to bring your own bags!

Great grocer store! Lowest prices in town and their own generic brand is higher quality than most other generics. The fresh baked goods are lovely and the employees have always been pleasant. Just remember that it is not an exotic grocer that carries a huge selection like ACME or Whole Foods. Perfect store for the basics and a bit more!

As a confessed bread addict I have to say their bakery is awesome. Great prices on their produce. They do carry some unusual items sometimes but have a hands down better stock of items than their direct competition (across the street). Very friendly and helpful staff.

Lidl is a good one. They have about 65% of their stuff as their own products, but it’s good to try new things. They do special occasions, such as giving popsicles to students to celebrate their last day of school from what I heard, and the bakery donuts are my favorite item.

Clean store every-time . I used to go to Aldi, however the selection here is much greater and price point is great . I now go here about every week .

Was very happy we found this store. We are used to shopping at Lidl in Europe. The prices are similar if not better compared to the bigger market shops. Location is not really ideal off the highway but was worth the drive to pick up some European style small items. The W5 product line are great for the price.
