Friendly staff. Good food and big portions. They go above and beyond to satisfy the customer! Good fuel and small parking lot for trucks.

Was there for dinner on fri night. The two young ladies were overwhelmed but were trying their hearts out. I know there were some disappointed customers. We did have to wait a long time for our meals. Guess what, every one was waiting!! My ice tea was excellent. When the kitchen caught up our meals were hot and really tasty. One young lady did call someone to help and was told that no one was going to help. Shame on you who ever was on the phone! I hope you know how lucky you are to have two wonderful employees plus kitchen staff that care for your business. The food was worth the wait and to see these young ladies making sure farmers and truckers were fed is heart warming! We left them a large tip but it wasn’t large enough to match their effort!!! Will look forward to going there again.

Just a warning to fellow truckers, be vigilant when you park at 301 truck plaza Middletown DE, there has been several cases of diesel siphoning by thieves and because you park at your own risk there is nothing they can do about it ( management) rather than just reporting to the police, no cameras at at the parking area. The management needs to do something about this issue. Other than that everything else is great.

Everyone says its out dated but that what we love about the place, the old design of the building and the food is great. Prices are little high but quantity definitely makes up for it. Staff is fantastic, friendly, and not big store stuck up. Plenty of parkin.

Fuel is goodfood is greatshowers 45% out of 100%bring your own towels.water is far from being hot.I had a team driver and he said the same thing about his shower. if you fuel here over 150 gallons, you get 1 free shower. if you have a team driver with you, you have to pay 7$ extra for another shower. other than that its a good truck stop.

Holy cow the meatloaf was delicious. Staff is great. Customers that were there when i came in for a meal were warm and welcoming just as the servers. I would recommend stopping in for a well made comfort meal. Trucker approved!!

The food was fine. Now we arrived at 11:55am, didnt leave until 1:20!! We had to wait forever for our food!! People were leaving because everything was so so slow!! We use to come here a lot. The burgers changed and got much greaser and now the food service was slow!! They kitchen definitely needs help. People wont be coming back.

This place sales more Eagles merch than any PA truck stop Ive been to... They help out truckers too.I think a lot of people in the area are the former working class of NY and NJ; its a real PITA to communicate and get anything done at any of the businesses. A.K.A. honest humans

Arriverd Sunday July 25, 2021 at 10:40 am - Seated at 10:51 am - 11:20 PM someone finally came to wait on our table but said for drinks only - 12:10 Pm finally someone came to take our order - 1:02 PM our order finally arrived at our table and we finished eating at 1:35 PM - asked for our check which finally arrived at 1:50 PM. While we were waiting for our food 5 people at seperate tables who were seated got up and walked out because of service. The couple in front of us complained of the slow service waiting 30 minutes for their order as were the couple across from us. On the way out a couple who was outside the dinner approached us asking us how long we waited I replied too long. They said they would never come back because of the service. I will say the food was very good no complaints there but as for the service it was terrible. The waitress said they were short staffed no one wanted to work I said wrong people want to work if they are paid decent wages so the blame for all of this mess was the owners responsibility not the staff. If you are in a hurry or impatient do not eat here until this mess is fixed. This problem did not ocur in the last month at the Middletown Dinner, Friendlys or Bob Evans.

Stopped in for some coffee ended up getting breakfast fantastic food fantastic food will definitely be back.

Did a 34 hour restart here. Staff is friendly and the food is pretty good. Bathrooms could use an update but clean otherwise.

Went today for Mothers day breakfast and the service was horrible. We were served by the manager and she snapped at me when I asked for the rest of our food. My food order was wrong. I went to her manager and made a complaint before I left.

Cashiers are great and helpful. I stop at least once a week and sometimes more often. Great food and night time buffet is as good as their restaurant. Plenty of truck parking!

Today was my last try at giving this place a fair review so this will be lengthy. I watch other customers interaction at the fuel. Desk as well as my own experiences. . I have been stopping in this Plaza just under 1 yr now. I intentionally avoid buying fuel here or spending any money in the store because of my disappointments. .... 1 st problem no showers. Then they installed showers and no matter how much fuel you purchase, still a 13.00 charge for a shower. Male attendant actually told me they are trying to recover some revenue for the shower addition. There is no logical incentive in buying any amount of fuel and paying 13.00 for a shower and not so much as a complimentary cup of coffee. . 2nd issue their truck parking lot is in serious need of attention. Pot holes so big you cant miss them. 3rd issue Women at the fuel desk are just plain Unattractive, bitter and old . you cant be a 3 out of 3 negative. Get some younger More vibrant women to fill those positions. Its industry standard to have younger and more pleasant woman in a male dominated field providing good customer service. 4th The hot food section and the restaurant almost appears to be on another planet. The Customer service is awesome and the food is great. I like the baked & fried chicken as well as the vegetables. But I wont eat here any longer until there is a change at the fuel desk.

05/08/2018 0800After more than 30 years in the OTR trucking industry, this was my first time here and I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the vegetable omelet l had had for breakfast.Fueling was straightforward and the fuel desk personnel was very professional.Ive held back a star because of the aforementioned potholes in the lot. They really must be addressed even if sone gravel could be dropped in to eliminate most of the severity of them.All in all, yes, I would be back and I wont wait another 30 years.If you like my review, click on the thumbs up to make me feel good that I was helpful.Bon Voyage, fellow traveler.

We always enjoy eating at 301 Diner. The food is quick, tasty and they have great service. My kids love the scrapple! For the price, you cant beat it. Expect to leave with a full belly and money still in your wallet.

Real good food, I have never once thought where is my food because they are on it for good service. I always walk out full. We’ve been going there for many years. It’s part of what Middletown is. We are thinking of going this morning.

No affiliation l have been trucking 6 years and have my own numbers. First visit here l had a 34 hr reset to do before picking up at Johnson Controls. Nice looking stop there is a nice glass and aluminum tower as you pull up. Plenty of parking, numerous trash cans and the lot did not smell. We all know that smell.I went in and they have a whole wall of lights, electrical connectors and l was able to get an extra couple of logbooks. They also have nice gifts like Military pride hats and shot glasses. Smiling, welcoming and friendly service from the man and woman cashiers.Spent the night and decided to get a shower. $13 well spent. Modern, roomy and clean. Had.the same tile in the shower stall l have at home. I loved the dual shower heads with the rainfall shower head above you! Felt like home. No soap provided but l bring my own. A single towel and wash cloth are provided.After the shower l had to get to my appointment so l stopped by the self serve food station. Everything was hot and fresh. I got about 10 mini sized Buffalo wings and three pieces of the fried chicken. The wings were swimming in a nice medium buffalo sauce that tasted homemade. The wings were tender and fresh. The fried chicken was steaming as l opened the container. Tasted homemade! The skin fell right off and the seasoning was perfect.They also have a Colca Cola Freestyle drink machine.I love those as you can pick you own selection from 100 choices! I got the big plate of food, around 12 wings, chicken drumstick and two thighs with a large Fanta Zero for $11. A great value!Overall A+ l will be back.

Looked for place to have breakfast today on memorial day Monday. A lot of restaurants were closed but we came across 301 plaza. We have eaten there before. Large menu to select from and they cook breakfast all day long. They give you a lot of food and it comes out hot and fresh. It is next to a truck stop so you get a lot of truck traffic in and out. Food is always good and prices are reasonable. Next time youre heading towards the beaches from Philly or Jersey swing by 301 plaza and get some breakfast or lunch.You can also fill up your car with gas or diesel.

Was a pleasant surprise. Much nicer inside than you might expect. And the restrooms were very nice. We were very satisfied with our meals. I had liver, onions, bacon and gravy . My associate had open faced turkey sandwich. We both had vegetable side and agreed they were very good(not over cooked). Will be back again. Looking forward to trying their burgers. They looked good and seemed popular.

Food was not as good as usual. Burger not done, scrambled eggs had runny whites. Waitress was very kind and helpful. We like 301 Plaza but cook was having an off day. Usually very good.

Just ate in the restaurant. The best food I’ve had in a very long time. My steak was cooked exactly they way I ordered it. The wait staff were all very friendly. Hope I have the opportunity to to pickup/ deliver more loads in this area because I will stop here to eat EVERY trip!

This is a truck stop/gass station. They sell gasoline and diesel. They have a convenience store, and a restaurant. The convenience store has hot food options from their Food Bar. The convenience store also sells snacks, sodas and other kinds of drinks, coffee, and gifts. They have public restrooms. There is also a restaurant on-site. The restaurant service American comfort food. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner. You can get an alcoholic beverage in the restaurant only. The truck stop is a medium size. The convenience self oil, antifreeze, and other products for truck drivers needs.

Food is good but I usually fuel across the street at Royal Farms...where I don’t have to deal with a rude cashier. The younger cashier(s) seem nice though.

THE FOOD IS GOOD, BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT! K.H. (the cashier) was rude and unprofessional. She does not know how to properly address a customer. As a matter of fact, the person behind me referred to her as a B**** and said she always acts this way. With that said, why would management allow her to represent their business in this way? TWO THUMBS WAY DOWN!

This restaurant is great and all of their meals are well-prepared and homemade. The downside of this establishment is when on Friday nights they close earlier than their 10:00pm time slot without notice. This tends to be jarring and inconvenient for people on the road who want a good meal and are rushing to get to this place on time just to be told their kitchen is closed for the night. This needs to change because soon enough they will lose customers. I came in at 9:30pm only for the waitress to tell me that they are closed for the night and their advertised time slot is 10:00pm closing time. This tends to happen every Friday night and there shouldnt be any excuse for closing early when customers are still coming in.

Ive been coming here for years. Im sure glad to have a shower. Just wish it was not cold. The restaurant is now under staffed. Poor service and undercooked food. Because of management. Again under staffed! Not poor staff.

It has good food, good quality and good price fuel but they should give free shower after 75 gallons instead 150. People there are very nice.

We stopped by to get gas. After we got it and left my car started sputtering and was smoking and hot. Later, we found out that instead of gas my car was filled up with diesel fuel. Do not ever come here to get gas!! Other than that, the food is okay. In my experiences we always have to wait for about an hour even if there are only a few people there. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Bought a CB from them got in the truck noticed it was broke they do not accept any Returns on electronics had only had it for 10 minutes do not buy any Electronics from the store

I sat here from Friday evening until Monday morning. I’ve had breakfast 3 times and dinner teice. Breakfast is very good, very large entrees, I never finish but it is delicious and filling whethet you finish or not. Dinner is very good as well. Best part about it is the prices are low and tax free so you pay a flat fee!

The food at the restaurant was excellent! Huge portions. Waitress extremely friendly. Highly recommend this place!!

I purchased 117 gallons of fuel and wanted a shower, but was told I had to pay $13.00 because they are an independent truck stop. I dont fuel anywhere but independent truck stops, and with few exceptions they give you a free shower. I know of quite a few that will give free showers even if you dont buy anything. When I tried to talk to the manager about it she just walked away. I wont be spending another dime in this place

I do not know why people who come to eat at the restaurant at 301 Plaza Truck Stop give a bad review, the service and treatment by the staff is super good, especially the food is unique and very tasty at affordable prices to all budgets, thanks to Jenn for her unique attention and to the cooks thanks for her unique taste, determined to make more stops in this beautiful place

If you dont stop here then you are missing out on the best food ever.Breakfast, lunch or dinner you cant miss. Service is always friendly, drinks are never empty. Leave room for dessert, even for breakfast 😄Homefries come with or without onions, personally Im an onion in my homefries, but friends arent, and its nice to have that option.We drive 45 minutes to an hour just to eat here, its that good.

We stop here a few times a week due to having to travel back and firth to Philly from Maryland !! Always pleasant staff have only dined in 1x and food was decent for a truck stop, surprising clean and its the only stop Ill make to let my daughter and I use the rest rooms !!

Took forever for the waitress to take our order. Other people that were seated after us were taken care of before us. However, the food was very good.

Bathroom no longer kept clean, 2 toilets out of order, food decent at best. Walmart and movie theater right up the road only good thing.

Service and food are great. Not much parking so if your in for your 10 hours get there by 16:00. Also very clean and restrooms also very clean.

Omelette was good. The waitress had a big discussion about scrapple. Its gotta be nice and extra crispy. I was hesitant but she convinced me. Sure enough it was a 3.50 slab of mush. She took it off the tab but if your gunna back up your good make sure its on point. Ill go back, but wont order scrapple there ever again. Yuck
