I would highly recommend this location for any of your Verizon phone needs. Jordan has always been particularly helpful throughout the last year or so with our phone account, servicing etc issues..always pleasant, positive and extremely knowledgeable. Recently, we replaced 4 devices, not all the same and although it was a bit complicated the end result was an easy, pretty seamless swap thanks to Jordan and in his absence Daniel and the rest of the staff. The best part of this store is the fact that no matter who helps you, they all give you their best effort...polite and attentive, they respond to your concerns in a professional and capable way. If you go here, you wont be sorry!

I had been in the previous night and Brian and another co-worker also worked hard at this, sending me off when we were directed to wait for a code that could take 12 hours to arrive. What an unexpected treasure. I went in, expecting to purchase 1 phone and after the most diligent, caring and helpful assistance provide by Brian, I not only was able to purchase new phones for all of my kids with a current rebate through Verizon, he also was able to reduce our monthly bill. He was exceptional at explaining everything and was truly as excited as I was about the overall savings I was able to receive. He took extra time and extra care and you just do not get that anymore, especially during this pandemic where everyone wants to get in and out of commercial places quickly. He was an absolute GEM.

I went in for a Wifi box to buy outright. I was told 3 different prices . I was in need of a new phone too. Bottom line is I paid 130.00 for a phone activation and box activation+ tax and whatever other charges they throw inMy 1st bill was to be 140.00. I get my bill and its 220.09.!! What??? Not happy at all. Supposed to have a promo on the phone as well thats not showing up ither. Not satisfied at all. Feel as they are not transparent or honest. Really thinking about legal action regarding this whole transaction.

TEN Stars!!!!!!!!!!!!This is my 3rd experience in the past year at this store and I am so pleased.I picked up my phone from and online order, the young man put the case and screen protector on without my having to ask and was most helpful with a non tech person like me! Yesterday, i had to bring the phone back because my old phone would not cooperate with the transfer of data. Brian was my tech person and he solved the issue pretty quickly and got my phone to transfer as it should. He spent time with me, so I understood what was going on, and made sure I was all set up and in sync before I left. The store was quiet and very clean, I felt safety was a high concern for the staff. This is now my go to store for all my Verizon needs . Thank you Brian and staff for being so professional and courteous, it goes a long way these days !

I had an amazing experience with Joseph and Jordan, the two were very helpful and delivered as promised “five stars”! I was able to purchase a new phone and upgrade my plan. I am giving the store three stars due to the WIFI speed. What should have been a quick visit turned into an overnight experience :( The wifi was terrible which resulted in my decision to leave my phone(s) in the store overnight to complete the initial setup (shift from old iphone to new iphone) I came in the next morning and the setup was still incomplete… Great customer service, horrible wifi

BEST VERIZON AUTHORIZED RETAILER IN NEW ENGLANDIf you are looking for a new Verizon cellular phone and accessories, this is the store to shop at! I had a ten year old Lancet Android, which was a source of endless frustration and ended up dying. I went into this store with limited expectations, because other Verizon stores would keep me waiting forever, show me the cheapest phone, cash me out and usher me quickly out the door. Since I am not tech savvy, I would end up with a phone I did not know how to properly use, leading to many wasted hours trying to accomplish simple tasks. However, this is NOT the case with this particular store. The moment you enter the door, you are politely and respectfully treated by the staff. You are treated as if you are some type of royalty, The sales consultants will ask very specific questions about what you are looking for in a phone and match you to the proper phone. I had a certain budget, and what I ended up purchasing was a LG V 60 Thin Q phone which was a little more than I expected to pay, but it was well worth it! This new cellular phone does the most amazing things! In addition, the sales consultants will give you private tutorials on how to use your new phone. On one occasion, I was in the store for over eight hours, while the sales consultant worked with me to show me how to download 6,000 photos from my laptop onto my Google photo app on my phone. He even stayed after hours, when the store was officially closed. Another time a sales consultant spent six hours working with me, explaining how to download additional photos to my cell phone and how to correctly use my Clip and Play device, which is totally amazing! I am a musician as well as a music historian so music is very important to me. This phone coupled with this device allows me to select any piece of music by any performing artist, so that I can play it while walking my dog and even in my bathroom while taking a shower or bath because not only is the cell phone waterproof, but the Clip and Play device is as well. If you go to this store, you will receive top rate customer service because if you have any questions, you can return with all of your various devices and they will take the time to personally assist you. I strongly recommend that you ask to speak with Mr. Brian Medley, an exemplary sales consultant or request Mr. Jordan Barboza Simpkins who is a technical genius. I cannot provide this store and its employees with enough accolades. On a scale of one to ten stars I would give them 1,000.

DO NOT TRUST THESE SALES PEOPLE IN THIS STORE. I purchased a phone out of this store and one day my screen broke. I went into the store and asked about repairs. They lied and told me that I can get unlimited screen repairs on my phone for $30. (I got my screen fixed at Walmart that time) So I opted in for the insurance. In case I needed it in the future...which I did. I called the insurance company to file a claim and they tell me the only option I have for repairs is to replace the whole phone for $1oo. I dont need a new phone just a new screen and thats not worth $100!

Went here yesterday to buy a new phone and had the best experience Ive ever had at a Verizon store. The team was genuine, extremely helpful, and only wanted to help me out. René had to stay a while past close to help me and he insisted that it was no problem at all. I felt terrible for keeping him late but he was very polite and professional the whole time. He and the other staff hooked me up with a deal to protect my phone temporarily (for free essentially) and showed that the number one thing on their mind was the customers satisfaction. I had a horrible experience here two weeks ago. My husband and I went to here to buy two iphone 12 and two apple watches. But they didnt have the silver iphone 12 that I wanted. So the service person put a new Verizon sim card into my husbands phone that he used so that I could use it until my silver iphone 12 arrives. He started to set up our phones and apple watches, after that he charged us a set-up fee of $180 which is $45 per each device. He didnt inform us of the cost and didnt even ask us for consent. Here is my complaint, I dont understand why he didnt give me prior notice to the customer for bill of $180. If I knew about the device set-up fee, I would have declined, because I can pair my apple watch on my own. (In fact I did pair my apple watch with my new phone by myself, since he didnt do that when my silver iphone arrived.) I talked with the Verizon service center about how I could resolve this undue charges and then they said The Verizon store do not ask for any device set up fee, but the authorized Verizon retailer has a different policy, so we cant help you in this case. Until this time, I was just going to skip this undue charge, because I didn’t want to complain.7 days later we went to pick up my phone, he charged me a up-grade fee of $40 even though we were already charged for a activation fee (It was $160 which is $40 per each device) a few days ago. And then he said I dont know why Verizon charges you $40 again, so you should call the service center for that. So we had a long phone call with the Verizon service center to solve the issue. Im so disappointed with my experience here. I want to recommend you that get as far away from this retailer as possible and go to an actual Verizon store.

Pleasant staff, nice clean store, no wait the times I have gone in since they opened -- however, be very careful and get a full explanation and understanding of whatever upgrade offers or deals they present. The customer service person did not give us a full picture of our iPhone upgrade nor the impact it would have on our monthly bill. He neglected to inform us of an Upgrade Fee ($40), an Activation Fee ($40) and he stuck Total Mobile Insurance on there ($30/month for two phones) without informing us. He simply said our bill was going up by 29 dollars and change a month. Upon review of my bill, it had more than doubled and I then had to waste 45 minutes on the phone with Verizon to understand the changes and get them fixed. It just felt sneaky and the customer service gentleman omitted a lot of information within the upgrade he recommended.

My wife and just had wanted to say what and amazing experience we had with Brian. We came to the store because my phone became completely unresponsive. The screen kept blacking out and my phone would turn off. Brian looked over our plan and phones. After assessing everything he determined that with a different a plan that would better benefit us, not only was he able to get me into a new phone but he was able to get my wife a new phone as well, while our bill only increased $10.00.As happy as we were with getting new devices and with what Brian did for our bill it was what Brian did for us setting up our new phones and getting all our information transferred, especially on my phone that we were most impressed with. Brian spent well over 4 hours with us because we did not know my gmail address or password and without having that Gmail address and not being able to get my old phone to turn on and stay on he couldnt find that out. Even though we were not able to get my information on my phone we left the store having had one of the best experiences we have had anywhere. But that is where Brian went above and beyond. He said he would keep my phone and try to get it to come on for even the smallest amount of time and try to get to where he could see my Gmail address. Low and behold while we were out to eat Brian called and told us to come back to the store because he was able to get my phone on for just a minute and was able to get my Gmail address. When we got there he was able to reset my password and restore all my contacts and on top of all he already did he said he would continue to try and get my phone on to run a back up on my photos getting them backed up to my new google photos.Brian went way above and beyond great customer service for me and my wife and we highly recommend anyone going to this store to ask for him he will do everything and more to take care of you and your needs!Thank you so much Brian.Craig and Judi Clark

My phone was complete frozen and it was the day of my flight where I would be studying abroad for a year so Brian graciously made the effort to come in early and let my mother and I into the store so he could devote all his attention to fixing my phone. The store normally opens at 9 am but Brian came in at 7:30 to set up the store for half an hour so it was perfect by the time we walked in at 8 so we could have an hour of privacy to really figure out what was wrong. He managed to be able to back up all my photos, music, and contacts rebut my whole phone, add back what I needed and get rid of what I didnt so there would be plenty of storage so the phone would work as swiftly as possible to allow me to be the safest while traveling. My family and I could not have appreciated it more. I would highly recommend this store and if Brian is working I would definitely ask for him by name because you could not be in better hands!

I needed to upgrade two iPhones on our Verizon plan and we are new to the area. I knew of the Cellular Sales location on 11 East Main Rd in Middletown RI and did some research. I was pleasantly surprised that they had great reviews on Google. I typically go directly to a Verizon store, so I was a bit hesitant but decided to give them a try based in the favorable reviews.We arrived and there were 2 other customers in store being helped. As we waited (a short time) we watched and listened as Rene finished helping the customer before us. The customer was elderly and not very “tech” savvy. He didn’t really know how to use his phone (not even to start/end a call or search Google). We watched while Rene soooo patiently and pleasantly helped the elderly customer and we were very impressed.Then it was our turn and we were very lucky to have Rene Sanchez help us - he was GREAT. Friendly, knowledgeable, personable and patient! He helped us select the right phone, reviewed the new plan/payments and transferred all data from our old phones to the new phones. He even helped us with turning in our old phones for a credit which we used to partially pay for some accessories (protectors and cases).Thanks Rene Sanchez! I would urge anyone to go to this location and ask for his help!

I came here in panic because my new phone was completely not working and I was off to Europe the next day on my own needing my phone for safety and travel. Brian and Galen were absolute life savors! They sat down and listen to my concerns, opened up my account, and explained clearly what was going on as well as how to fix it. We went to Verizon in Middletown with questions on our newly purchased phones. We had bought the phones from Manny L.,who was very helpful. He spent about 2 hours with us. We’re not phone savvy and his patience was very much appreciated.. We went back today and had decided we didn’t need quite as much phone as we had bought. Kyle C. and Jeff D, trainee, spent almost 2 hours going Thur things again, refunding the phones bought last week, adding another phone, and explaining things again. Dealing with all 3 men was a very pleasant experience. We will highly recommend Verizon.

Lately Ive been having a problem not receiving messages on my iPhone, so I went over to the Verizon store in Middletown. I was greeted by two of the salesmen- Joe and Bobby. They took their time to figure out what the problem was and resolved it in no time. They even saved me money on my bill! Beware! Brought my phone in and was informed by a very superior sounding man that I had ruined my phone and would need a new one. He then showed me only one type of phone. I told him I preferred to stay with a Samsung and he said no! Brought phone to the Newport location over by walmart and the two delightful young men there had me sorted out in minutes! The brightness on my settings had been turned down way low, probably by me accidentally. They also shoes me multiple options to consider for the future.

Worst service ever, came here at 530pm with a friend who wanted to get a new phone, took them 2 hours and 45 minutes because the customer rep kept leaving to help 2 other people while still trying to finish up with my friend. Then didn’t even get to transfer all the info from one phone to the other because we didn’t want to sit there another minute. I do not recommend ever going into this store and I truly don’t recommend this service because I’ve delt with this numerous times. AT&T still wins my service!!!!

I worked with Dustin in Decembet we purchased a couple iPhones and an iPad. He was very helpful in getting everything we needed and answered all the questions we had. Yesterday my wife was having issues with her phone so I called Dustin btw Im now in Florida and he stood on the phone with me for about an hour working through the issues and the phone is working again. I know sometimes when people say call them anytime and they will help they are usually just saying that to make you feel comfortable about the sale but Dustin has always answered the phone for me everytime and this wasnt the first time he has helped.
