Yesterday, we picked up our new X3 m40i. Aside from being incredibly happy with the car, we had a phenomenal experience with BMW of Newport. I made an inquiry by email on the car Thursday evening. Early Friday morning, our salesman, William, responded, and he and I exchanged several text messages on Friday during a busy work day for me, and we had the deal done mid day. I was very impressed by his courtesy and the no nonsense approach in getting the deal done. On Saturday, we drove to the dealership (2 hours from us), traded our car in, signed paperwork, and left in the new car. Could not have been smoother. I had a great experience at BMW of Newport buying a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The sales rep Justin Moniz was so great to work with! Very friendly and professional. I had a few concerns about a small dent and a few chips of paint in the hood and he made sure it was taken care of and fixed within a few days. He even sent me close up picture of the progress throughout the days. It came out great! The price of the Jeep was very fair and they were able to give me what I wanted for my trade in. Been a client from BMW for many years had 3 BMWs and never had a bad customer service like this. Definitely not coming back.Called 3 times the service dept never got a call back, left them a voice mail no reply. Then they come with excuses that they called me and I didn’t answer, there was no calls on my phone, then they said oh actually went straight to voice mail, lie after lie, so I told him I have no voice mail from you, then he changed again your voice mail was full, I had to laugh! My voice mail is not full, after this I’m done. That’s insane.

My mother has overall been pleased with her BMW purchased CPO here three years ago, they make a good all around car as readers here likely already know. However this dealer has been less than cordial and have tried to stick her with charges that are covered by the service plan she purchased and/or warrantee, this has happened more than once. Fortunately she is discerning and pays attention. In our families time owning BMW and Mercedes cars and experience with dealers from here to Texas this one earns low marks on overall treatment of customers.

Servicing my vehicle was a breeze. Vehicle was taken at the time scheduled and returned in a timely manner. Staff was friendly and attentive. Great experience.

Having had my two BMWs serviced at several dealers in CT, RI and FL, this store is simply not up to BMW standards. Problematic scheduling and slow service. In future will drive further to try a different location.

I needed to replace a damaged (run-flat) tire, so I called every tire repair shop nearby and no one stocked that brand/model of tire nor could they have one here until early/mid week. I then tried BMW of Newport, not only did they have it, they were able to service my vehicle that afternoon while I waited. Mindful of my time, they had the courtesy of asking if I wouldn’t mind waiting a bit more to have my car washed afterwards. The wait seemed effortless, while in their customer lounge, both clean, comfortable and convenient.

I bought a bmw 535i a couple months ago so far great car no complaints . Did not really care for the salesman because towards the end of the deal when it came time to signing the final paperwork, the price went up 1,000 dollars after I left a deposit a week prior to lock the price, so I had a bad taste in my mouth due to that . However, the finance manager Anthony was really great and fixed everything for me immediately . I actually wish Anthony was my sales man, he was more straight forward, honest and great personality. He also made sure i understood every detail in what I was signing . I would definitely go back to them however would not go to the salesman I went to .

My original sales guy was only so-so, but Nick Boarman in finance and my new sales guy Jeff Cairo made the buying process so easy which is no easy task when you live over 1,000 miles away. As out-of-state buyers, our recent car buying experience at BMW of Newport couldnt have went smoother. From start to finish, we were in and out of the dealership (who is in compliance with Covid protocols) in around three hours and actually left with our brand new 2021 X3! When I called Newport BMW that morning, Melissa, the Internet Sales Manager, set up our same-day appointment to come into the dealership to look at the models we were interested in. This was my first service appointment and I was surprised and disappointed at the lack of communication on the status of my car and the lack of explanation when I asked how the washer fluid is distributed. I expected it back the same day (so I was told) but ended up with a loaner for 5 days! When my car was finally returned to me, I expected the car to be cleaned inside. I actually had to pull over to clean the inside of the windshield, which was filthy, and had to stop to put gas in my own car just to get home from work. I sincerely hope this is not typical of the service department.

This review is for Nick, the finance manager. Due to an issue with a previous finance manager regarding a warranty, an issue arose on my car that wasn’t covered even though I was previously told it was. Nick went out of his way to correct the issue and put me in a better position than I was before the issue! This man went above and beyond for his customer and his actions earned a customer for life! We had a good experience with the purchase of our 540i. Our salesman was Milton Rogers who managed to get us a good deal. However, it’s been a month since we have the car but we are still waiting on its registration. This is despite multiple calls being made. Would have expected better post-purchase service!

A car buying experience that everyone should enjoy! This is our third vehicle purchased from BMW of Newport. A very fair hassle free car buying experience. The personnel appears to be very consistent through the years. Management has built a great team and they continue to retain them.

From a sales perspective Milton was great, made the first part of the sale very easy, we cut to the chase and pricing for my trade and discount on the car I was purchasing was finalized in minutes. Then comes all the paper work, normally a hard sell to purchase the maintenance packages, tire protection and so on, but not this time, Nick was accommodating. My 11am appointment to sign paper ended up being 12:30, no big deal but could have been a problem if I had other commitments.I never do these ratings, but if this was my company I would want to know what I should change. While waiting, sale reps smoking out the front of the building and throwing their buts wherever just looks bad should be out of the customers view. second, spitting it out at the front of the building, just gross...Clean it up BMW.....Nick who showed me all the functionality of the car was great, we found a very small, and I mean very small tear in the leather on the door handle, while they offered to fix at first this quickly changed to ordering a compete new door panel which was the right thing to do.All in all this was one was good experience, maybe I should give 3 stars, but Miltons no-pressure type sale made it made up for the negatives.

I had a great experience here, from initial contact to sale and Im sure delivery, which hasnt happened yet as I just went there today.The salesman, the managers were all great, I felt entirely comfortable and no pressure at all.I went to look at a specific car, it was there when I got there, they filled the tank, gave me the keys and I had a nice ocean front test drive, no pressure, it was great and I highly recommend this dealership.
