I am an allied healthcare worker and I teach preschool gymnastics, which leave little time to buy a car. Dave and Jeff went above and beyond to accommodate me. The car I bought was better than the pictures and they took time to explain my loan agreements. I trust them and wouldn’t buy a car anywhere else.
Purchased a Jeep and had a great experience. I met Gary my salesman as soon as I got to the lot. He was very friendly and helpful with the cars I was interested in. I didn’t feel pressured at all and it was very refreshing dealing with this company after all the other terrible dealerships I went too. The cars were priced honestly and I was not hit with thousands of dollars in absurd fees. Definitely recommend and will be heading back when I’m in the market again.
I was very impressed with the purchasing experience from this dealership. I was able to test drive and review the car very quickly as compared to other dealerships. The price was more than fair and they were very forthcoming with the cars history. That being said, the servicing experience was unacceptable. Within 1 month of purchasing the vehicle, the sunroof malfunctioned, which is to be expected with a used vehicle. Covered by the warranty, I called Blasius of Middletown, informed them of the issue and was asked to schedule an appointment a few days later to get it serviced. When I arrived for the appointment, within 10 minutes the service staff told me that I needed to take my car to the Blasius in Waterbury since they dont perform that repair there. This was incredibly infuriating since I had explained the issue when I first called and was instructed to make an appointment. While I understand certain dealerships might not be able to perform certain repairs, it is unacceptable to have a customer schedule an appointment for an issue that your team isnt equipped to repair and wasting their time in the process. I wouldve appreciated to know that upfront when I called so that I could book an appointment at the appropriate place to get it fixed without sacrificing a day off from work.Hopefully this experience can be an opportunity for improvement as I would hate for someone to have this same experience.
Found them on Facebook… went to test drive the car and everything was great.. until.. couple months later finding out the wrong oil filter was put in, and was forcibly put in!!! Then finding a rats nest in the cars engine bay..! Told “everything” was looked at and changed… lies. No filters were ever changed or anything that was told to be “changed”. Never coming to this place again. I do not recommend..
Best car buying experience ever. My salesman was great (Boz Mirsad) helped me through the whole process and didn’t waste a minute of time. Would absolutely recommend buying from here in the future. Thank you to the team at blasius of Middletown.

I went to look at a new vehicle with my son. We met Boz, very nice guy. The deal took a few days to arrange which was ok because we were not in a rush. They addressed the few issues we found on the initial inspection. Then we met the finance guy ( Tony ) another nice guy. My son signed up for a 2018 equinox, got a great deal. As always any experience with a car dealership can be nerve wracking but these guys did a great job!.
Love the car we got from them!Dave Shehu was great. Excellent customer service and follow up. Highly recommend them!
Purchase a Chevy Tahoe a month and a half ago it has been in the shop more then I have drove it. The worse car dealership I have ever seen. The first two weeks it was leaking transmission fluid and they replaced the radiator. Third week the oil pan and seal. I am so angry been told they would look into compensation for the inconvenience can’t never get a straight answer always a run around. The General Manager Jim is a joke. Can’t get anyone to call you everything is being done by text so unprofessional. I
Got best deal for my car...Dave Shehu was great and finance manger Jeffrey was nice guy too..Excellent customer service.Highly recommend this dealership!
Salesman was OK, but he was forced into a tough spot... someone hiked the price of the car $1,000 the day before I got there to test drive the car (but after I paid a deposit) and he had to ask the manager to honor the lower price. Finance guy was inexperienced and pushy - when I produced my own auto loan financing, all of a sudden there was a $750 fee for using outside credit thats only referenced on their website and not on Autotrader, and he tried to negotiate me into a higher interest rate though them to avoid it. Finance guy also tried to talk me into a warranty multiple times after I firmly said no. Also, I had to wait quite a while (over an hour) with a scheduled appointment just to START the paperwork. Dealership is poorly decorated and the only customer amenities were water and an empty coffee pot. Car was poorly detailed outside - wax residue in all the seams, old wiper blades and smudged windows. But for the good price on the car, wouldnt have shopped there.
Blasius of Middletown was fantastic. Dave Shehu from sales was very professional. Dave and Jeff from finance are a great team and the used 2018 Dodge Durango drives like a brand new vehicle. My purchase was an amazing experience. Thanks to both Dave and Jeff I will be purchasing my future vehicles from Blasius. Great job guys!!!Robert PettinicchiBristol Ct
Another great spin off of Loehmann Blasius of Waterbury. Keep up the good work a welcome addition to Middletown
Very easy car buying experience. Boz, the salesman was great! Got a great deal and super customer service
I had a good experience with Lulu who sold me the car. That being said I neglected to ask for a carfax. Everything happened fast and there was never a sit down about learning more about my car. Rookie mistake. two weeks after purchasing my car I notice more scratches from the driver side. ( I work from home so I barely drive) The scratches are located at the same spot the right side bumper ; Their promise was to repaint the scratches before selling me the car. They actually made two promises; repaint the side bumper scratches and replace the missing cap in my trunk. It been almost a month now and I still haven’t received my missing cap from my trunk. The manager Jim is dodging my phones calls and making excuses and not calling me back when promised. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt but several of encounters have occurred. The first day of purchasing the car they gave my plates to another car and I went two days with using a their dealership plate. Not a big deal. The finance guy made an mistake and they went to my home and exchanged them, but a lot of little things.. That being said I still have a missing cap which I mostly upset about and no call back from Jim the manager! Apparently he lives at the auctions and too busy to call back when he promised. Their promises were not meet and I’m still waiting on a carfax . It’s the little things for me . I did refer my sister there cause Lulu is great but I hope she doesn’t get the same experience. Hopefully they give me the 100$ they promise you when you refer someone there and buy a vehicle. Let’s see if that happens..
I purchased a car for my College son who graduating in the spring and we had a very good experience here. Our Salesman Dave Shehu his Finance Manager Tony Coma where great to work with and did a great job getting our Ford Escape ready and meeting our requirements.I would definitely recommend this dealership. They had a large list of Used Vehicles, great prices but more importantly in good shape and clean records.Joe
Highly recommend Blasius of Middletown. Dave, Carman, and Faton were wonderful. They worked with me to get me the best deal on my Subaru for my trade and worked within my finances so I could afford the car I wanted. Thank you!
Really good experience buying a pick up from them. Shout out to salesman Dave for his help.
My experience with Blasius was very complicated, but ended up working out fine in the end. I drove from Massachusetts down to CT to look at a couple great deals I found online. I had a very good experience working with Boz and the financial team at Blasius on the day I bought my 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (~30,000 miles on it). Everyone was very friendly and I had a great experience. When I brought the Jeep to get inspected in Mass, it failed inspection due to all around bad ball joints. This was very frustrating since buying a Jeep was a significant investment for me. The receptionist (I can’t remember her name, I think Kris??) was more than accommodating and we easily figured out a date and time to bring the vehicle back in and get fixed. That Saturday we went down and decided to wait for it to get fixed, it was about a 2 hour drive for us so made more sense to wait instead of drop it off. Long story short, 8 hours later we ended up driving away with a different vehicle because the Jeep still wasn’t done. They fixed the tie-rod, brakes and rotors all around, my windshield wiper motor, and it needed an alignment. This was frustrating because I just spent so much money, waited so long, and all this work needed to be done to it!! Of course everyone was very apologetic, but this was still frustrating.Once the work was completed, Blasius offered to meet me half-way to deliver my Jeep which was awesome since the drive for me was so far. I was super happy with that. I got my Jeep back and it finally passed inspection!! Yay! However, about a week later, I noticed a sweet smell coming from engine and brought it to my local mechanic to check it out. Come to find out, I now needed a new radiator and new ball joints all around (which Blasius told me were fine, said it was really the tie-rod that caused my failed inspection). Again, the receptionist was so so nice and accommodating. I began just directly contacting the general manager at this point, Jimmy. He was also very nice. Blasius offered to come to me and pick up my Jeep, give me a temp vehicle, and then delivery the Jeep back. This was amazing and so very appreciated due to how inconvenient and difficult this whole thing had been already. The radiator was replaced with no problem or push back from them, however, I did have to fight a bit for the bad ball joints to be replaced. There was some back and forth between my local mechanic, me, and Jimmy to try and get this done. I will give Blasius credit, they did ultimately fix the ball joints and drive the Jeep back to me.So overall, everything that needed to be fixed was fixed at no cost to me by the dealership. However, the whole process is very frustrating because you generally expect the vehicle you spend many thousands of dollars on and just purchase, to not have anything wrong with it. I know it’s used and things need replacing, but this was thousands of dollars worth of work needing to be done: upper and lower left and right ball joints, new radiator, all new brakes and rotors, tie rod, windshield wiper motor. Bottom line, I recommend bringing your vehicle to your own mechanic if you can before you make the purchase, or right when you purchase it! Blasius and GM Jimmy, we’re overall friendly and accommodating and did everything that needed to be done, so I thank them for that!
They where amazing to work with. Will definitely tell everyone to go there.
Awesome experience, great service and people are outstanding.
Check engine light and tire indicator light came on within 1 month.
I cannot speak highly enough to truly describe the great experience I had buying my Jeep Compass from Blasius of Middletown. From my outstanding salesman Adam, to the finance department working quickly on approval on a loan and authorizing my purchase, and all the way to the service department for cleaning up the vehicle and preparing it to be picked up with less than a day’s notice. Everyone was incredible throughout the whole process. The dealership has a wide inventory of quality pre-owned vehicles and are patient and flexible to work on the customers’ schedule and based off their preferences. I won’t be in the market for another vehicle for quite some time now but when the time comes Blasius will be the first place I look!
