Drove from Michigan to New York for school and had someone tell us on the road that the wheel was shaking. I called other shops and no one could get us in for HOURS . But called here and they took us in RIGHT AWAY and had the best customer service. Didn’t charge for his diagnostic but said to tip his service man that worked on the car. GREAT BOSS,GREAT PLACE

This fine repair shop SAVED us when we had a flat tire 75 miles into an important 250 mile trip. No one else had the unusual size of tire we needed or wanted to fit us in so close to their closing times. Bryan and his crew cheerfully got us back on the road with the right tire in minutes, even though they were very busy and it was getting late. We could not be more pleased and grateful. Highly recommend you check them out!

We were travelling from Bangor when our car had loss of pressure in one of the run flat tires. We pulled into the shop an hour and a half before the close of the day on Sunday. Realizing that we have over 500 miles to get home, one of the older gentleman had us pull our car inside and was able to patch the tire and we were able to drive back home safely. They did not even charge us anything. Thank you so much.

I wanna say that Bryan Nieder was very sweet and kind and very thoughtful and helpful to me I drove up from Florida and I noticed that I had a problem with my brakes and Byan took me on July 4th 2021 had my dodge Ram 1500 truck all fixed for me i would highly recommend this place and Bryan Neider for his help excellent service 😊

Understaffed and overbooked, then blame the customer for being upset because an inspection takes 2 hours with an appointment.

I was very disappointed as I had made an appointment mid-week to have my inspection done for Saturday. When I walked in no one was at the front desk and I stood there for nearly 10 minutes before I was noticed and greeted. I waited too long to find out that the store had ran out of DMV inspection stickers 1 hour before my 1:00 appointment! An appointment means guaranteed service and a sticker should have been reserved for me. This was a display of poor customer service, organization, record keeping and management. I was unable to find another appointment anywhere for an inspection which is a huge inconvenience for me. Although the mechanic apologized, I will never go back to Dolson Ave Monro Muffler because there was no excuse for this happening.

Tbh this the last place I will go to get anything done on my car. Go in for an oil change next thing I kno everything wrong with my car when simply just wanted a oil change. Anything outside of a inspection sticker i don’t get

My go to place for oil changes! Been going here for a few years and never had a problem. Great staff as well.

I had been going to this location since 2012 without incident until earlier this year. In June I had my brakes replaced and a caliper was not properly installed leading to losing the ability to brake whilst on a major highway. After being reassured that I would be taken care of and having my vehicle towed to a different location(Chester, NY) to be repaired I was assured my brakes were functioning properly, fast forward to my inspection(with a different servicer) and I once again need to have my rear brakes replaced with a rear caliper locked and pads ground down. I am not sure what happened over the last year but the quality of service has severely declined. I will end this review on a higher note and say that district manager Frank was very quick to respond to my complaints and contact me to offer a resolution, however I will say on a store level Middletown and potentially Chester should be reevaluated and if necessary re-staffed to restore previous levels of quality service.

OUTSTANDING! customer service. My tire had to be ordered and I needed my tire delivered TODAY, I drove to this location and it was well worth the trip. The professionalism I received from Kaycee, NO DOUBT was TWO THUMBS WAY UP!. the Tech was equally pleasant. Id like to recognize these employees with LUNCH. Its because of them, Ill be back and will tell ALL my friends and FAMILY.

Everyone at this location was extremely helpful. When I called they were able to get me a next day appointment, and had my car with exhaust issues in and out within 2 hours. I was way over due for a oil change. I walked in and asked if they could fit me in and Kaycee told me that it would be about 15 minutes till they could take me. They checked my tire pressure and rotated my tries for me also! It was quick and painless for me. I would recommend them to anyone that needs anything done to their cars. Had my 2013 Fiesta since 2015. I always keep up with maintenance and oil changes. Last night my oil pan light came on and I was a bit worried. I usually take the car to Leo Kaytes in Warwick where I bought it. Theyre booked til Oct. 17(so they say). I was so anxious to bring the car to a local shop I didnt even call ahead. I got here right as they opened and they took care of me right away. For some reason my oil was just bad before the 3 months or 5000 miles. I blame Ford in Warwick a bit because I always take my car there and this has never happened. I feel like maybe they made an honest mistake or were just negligent. Either way, when I told the woman here at Monro what I think happened she encouraged me to read up on my car and learn about what type of oil change services would be best for my car. She was friendly and helpful and I was taken care of right away. Nice customer service.

Took my daughters car for oil change, had no appointment. There was also issue with exhaust and a pipe had to be replaced. Bryan gave me a fair price and i was out of there in 45 minutes. Been here quite a few times and never had bad experience. But is better to call first

I had a 2000 Honda account went to get fixed and a oil change...they said the break switch would fix the shifting on my car to get outta part it only worked for 5 seconds called them then they said the threw the old part away and couldn’t replace it the stole my money and the bank didn’t accept my claim now I’m screwed to paying something that never worked I worked and trusted this business for years and I never thought they would do this to me charging me for something that never fixed the issue they claimed it would

Ordered tires off of Tire Rack and had them delivered to the store for free, they put them on very quick and did an alignment for a pretty reasonable price. Friendly staff and WiFi, no complaints and will be using them again. Also saw oil changes are 14.99 right now so that’s a plus.

Got an oil change and a New York state inspection for cheap. Oil change is only 14.99! They are honest and dont try to pull one over on you. They let me know everything was good with my car and sent me on my way no issues. Definitely recommend, very friendly too.

I made an appointment for an oil change and my van was taken into the shop almost immediately upon arrival! Wow! The manager, Mark Rajnert, was very courteous, not only to me, but to all other customers calling or stopping in, as well as to the mechanics working there. The mechanic, T. Spears (as per my receipt) was quick and efficient and I was out of there in no time! The price cant be beat, either! Best price Ive seen yet! Highly recommended!! Thanks everybody!

Kept my appointment as scheduled for the NY inspection, unlike the competitor across the street, Dolson Tire, wh I ignores scheduled appointments.This place was timely and courteous and did not try to scam me into getting work done under the pretense of it bring needed for receiving the inspection certificate.You can stop here knowing the wont try to scam you.

A good spot for a quick oil change or inspection. They have good coupons online for some nice discounts. I would never get any major work done as some of the prices seem a bit inflated.

Was in and out in about a half hour 45 minutes for oil change and inspection. Loved that they didnt try and sell a bunch of unnecessary work like other places do. Manager Very friendly too. Oil change was only $14.99, inspection $21-but I had a coupon for that so it only cost $32!

I am very pleased with the service I received at Monro Muffler. I was helped by the Shop manager Khaled, who promptly assisted me with an undercarriage problem and fixed the problem quickly. He also checked the rest of the vehicle to be sure there were no other issues. I wouldnt bring my car to anyone else.

I brought my jeep in for an oil change and tire rotation, the customer service was the best as well as the service on my suv. The service people were top notch and i will recommend all of my family and friends to take there cars to Monro Muffler.Ive said this in the past and I stand by it again. Top notch.

Had a exhaust installed on a 2015 wrx. Few days of driving the exhaust became extremely loud which I suspected a leak. Took the car back to get checked, the car was lifted and it was clear there was a leak from the installation due to the build up of black spots at the joints between the muffler and pipes. The mechanic stated nothing is wrong with it and that my muffler was cheap!! I took the car elsewhere and they found that the old gaskets was not removed, the new gaskets was placed right on top and bolted down causing gaps between the joints.

Pleasant customer service. Excellent car service. I highly recommend!!

Came in for an inspection without an appointment and they were nice enough to squeeze me in, which is why i wont complain about the wait time; but the reason for leaving 3 stars is that, as get in my car, the steering wheel and shifter is all greasy, customer service i believe extends to all aspects of the business not just the front desk.

Fast friendly service, told me what I needed but didnt try to oversell me on things I didnt need. Told me what I can expect down the road and gave me an estimate so I can plan and budget fot the repair.

I have been through significant car trouble when I owned my chevy and through randomly meeting a mechanic he told me to come to his shop in middletown and he would help me. My family has a mechanic theyve trusted for a few years but I decided to take a chance and travel to Middletown. Thank goodness I did. I was treated with so much respect at this location. The shop manager Khaled is kind and patient, giving me honest advice and helping me through every mishap my car threw at me. Now, Im not knowledgable about cars at all and the mechanics at this shop did not play me for a fool. No one lied to me to upsell parts or pretend there was damage when there wasnt. I recommend to all of my friends and family to go because I trust them 100% with any car Ill ever own.

Every time I come here Im being charged an extensive amount. I come for an oil change and I end up paying $600 plus every single time... This is ridiculous and the LAST time Im coming here.

My vehicle was brought in for a standard oil change, tire rotation, etc. listed on the advertiser as $19.99. Upon completion, the bill was higher, with the explanation that the vehicle, a 2007 Acura MDX required 6 quarts of oil, not 5, which is standard. When I brought the car home, I looked in the car-owners manual and determined that the oil capacity listed was 5 quarts. I returned to the store and was given a voucher for 1 quart for my next oil change, which was okay with me.My next oil change also required additional servicing of transmission and other fluids. I authorized this additional work and the car was serviced. I was then presented with a bill of well over $200.00! I was not told of the extraordinary expense before the job was done. I paid the bill and checked with my Acura dealer. The service manager told me that their approximate cost of the total service was $150.00 plus tax. This dealer is in the same town as the Monro store. I feel as though I was overcharged and the failure of the mechanic to warn me of the far greater cost than the expected $19,99 was unethical.In addition, I was unable to rate this Munro dealer as 1 star, because the site wont let me, so I left it as 2 star.
