Really expensive exhaust work. I have to go under the car and check the system because I hear leaks. The untouched portion of the exhaust may need some work too. Im hoping its NOT what meineke did because it was VERY expensive. Workers are amazing and polite but the prices are outrageous. I myself have worked as a mechanic in shops for 14yrs, so Ive seen good pricing and over pricing etc. etc.

Had the worst week before coming here, then my car decided to break and start sounding like a AC-130 on a bombing run. I deliver food as a job so I needed this repair fast. I went to a shop and they told me it would be 400+ for the repair. Morale was low. Then I was told to check with Meineke and get a quote from them. Right when I walked in the guy treated me like he was happy to help me, was up front about every single thing, and made it easy and stress free. I got the quote, ended up being 250. That was already great for me, but it got better. The inspection and repair was finished like 3 hours from when I first went to the shop, and the car was ready to get picked up. When I got to the shop, I found out the guy gave me a discount and the price was brought to lower than 200. The car runs better than it ever has since I bought it. They hooked me up, and I have never felt happier and more satisfied with a car repair company, or any service from any company for that matter.. Would absolutely recommend coming here for anything, and will be returning.

Meineke was fast, friendly, and efficient! Realized I had a screw in my tire when I was at the gas station and I had called them that same moment — they were able to accommodate me within 2 hours! I was able to check in and out in about 20 minutes, all for a very affordable fix. Thank you! So appreciated!

Kevin is great! He is much better than the guy they had before. He is here for the customers and never pushes you into doing anything . He tells you what needs to be done on the car in the future and will give you a price but doesn’t pressure you. I will only ever come here for work on my cars

I was politely greeted when I entered the establishment. I was given a fair price for the work and an explanation as to what was included. The work was done expeditiously and to my full satisfaction. I was extremely happy with the service and honesty. As a female, sometimes automobile places try to sell work that isn’t needed. That didn’t happen here. Very friendly and comfortable atmosphere!

I walked in and told him the quote I got from Valvoline for an oil change and not only did he beat the quote by almost $80 I was also discounted so I got an amazing price and outstanding customer service! He told me a few other things that would need to be done in the upcoming months but didn’t push me to do it TODAY like most other places would do. This is one of the best auto shops within a 25min radius (Id say farther, but this is my operating range). They explained the must vs should-gets so that I could make the best choice based on my finances at the time. They also took me into the shop to show exactly why I truly NEEDED to get tires and brakes addressed asap and answered all my questions along the way. Thanks to them I feel much better about my daily commute.

Service manager Kevin and the rest of the team are friendly and helpful, giving the shop a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Went in for brake inspection knowing that my brakes would need work. They had a time-and-price estimate for me within fifteen minutes, which was accurate to the penny and very nearly to the minute. Also got the car washed and vacuumed; they did a great job on that as well, which was much appreciated. Will recommend to friends, and will be going back for oil changes, detailing and other repairs/maintenance as necessary.

After a few iffy to bad experiences at other auto shops it was a refreshing change to walk into a happy and friendly place to get your car worked on! Kevin, at the front is always nice and very generous and will do anything and everything he can to make sure that not only your experience is superb but will try to save you money anyway he can! Amazing amazing customer service! I went into Meineke in Middletown, CT on a Saturday afternoon with my parents old 2001 Subaru Outback. It was making loud clunking sounds and swaying side to side whenever I went over a bump. Their initial estimate was $2,500 so I started to panic. They brought me under the car and showed me all the pieces that were worn out and shopped around for the lowest price parts they could find for me. After over an hour of them helping me and getting the estimate down to $2,000, I told them my parents wanted me to bring the car home so they could deal with it. They didnt charge me for labor or a diagnostic test or anything. Very sweet and understanding of everyday stress and finances.

I scheduled my oil change online (a very easy process) and when I arrived at the store they were ready for me. I was in and out in 45 minutes which was wonderful!! I’ll be back.

This is a place that I feel safe, they diagnose my car before I agree to have any work done.The manager Kevin took the time to take a ride in my car to get a better understanding of the issue I was having. He explained to me his professional opinions. Then he plugged the car it into a device to diagnose the cars internal system. He gave me the codes & wrote down his thoughts & did this all at NO COST!! Meineke in Middletown is a trustworthy reliable business. I went there for transmission and power steering issues they talked me out of things that were not necessary and they fixed what was necessary. The car is great and it cost way less than I thought. Decent people!!!!

Stopped in at Meineke yesterday and was pleased with the service I was provided. Although the service took a little longer than expected (I went in for an oil change) I received a full report on my car which was well worth the wait. The staff was genuine and very knowledgable and I could tell they had my best interest in mind. I worked with Kevin and Alex and I recommend stopping in to see either of them.

Took my wifes new to us 2015 Civic for our 1st oil change only to find out it has to use synthetic oil. So costs $75 not the $15.99 curb sign on street. Not happy with the $75 the dealer forgot to mention that. The Manager at Meineke got it down to $42 with some coupons. Got home made some calls and checked and yes it requires synthetic and the going rate is around $70.

I just took my car to ask some questions and they were very knowledgeable and also took to the time to check over my car and let me decide if I wanted to take care of the issue that they found and recommended what I didnt need to prioritize. That was very refreshing as most mechanics places always want to just take your money for nothing.

Went in for a small muffler repair. Was going to cost $60, but the associate gave me a discount. I only paid $28 and was out in 15 minutes! That was my first time there and I’m SO glad I went. Very friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere.

I went there for a check up on my car, and they figured it out quickly. They change the tires and change the oil and it wasnt expensive. Excellent service.Update: I went the first time only for a tire chance and since then I have spend more than $1000 and be there 4 times, something new happen with my car everytime I go there, maybe is not their fault but my car start vibrating the very next day I change my tires and was $300+ repairing.Then the same day I ask them to repair the AC a lady has a discussion with the guy there that her AC that she ask them to repair start failing and only work for a little bit, I thought it was an isolated issue so I spend $100+ to fix it, but the same happened to me, and Im sure if I go there theyre going to find another issue that is gonna cost a lot of money. Again I dont know if is their fault but I found too many coincidences, so I decided to break the cycle and find another place.

I came in for an oil change a few days. Which coincided with my muffler falling off my car a few days earlier. That asked if and I was getting it fixed. They offered me a great price quote and we made the arrangement to do the repairs. In the few days before my scheduled appointment unbeknownst to me the condition of my car worsened; resulting in my car needing more repair. Currently finishing my undergraduate studies and other aspects of my life being in flux. Frank the manager of this location listened to my predicament with an open heart and rallied his staff to do the additional repairs at no added charge. I know occurrence like this dont happen often, but through generosity and great compassion these guys made a not great situation better. To which I will always remember. The staff at this location will always have my gratitude and businesses as long as I am in this region of Connecticut. Thank you from beyond the depths of my heart.

I had an emergency—my brakes seized at 5pm on a Wednesday, over an hour away from home. Thankfully, Meineke was open until 6pm. The man who answered the phone was kind and told me I could come right in. They looked at my car, found replacement parts, and got the repair done (even though it required them to work past 6pm). The staff were friendly and professional, and made me feel at ease. I am beyond grateful for their willingness to help me when I was worried I had no options.

When my car desperately needed an oil change I tried the Meineke on Washington st. The waiting room was full and I was expecting to be told there was going to be a long wait. I was told I could be the next car in the shop. So I gave them a chance. The waiting room was nicely furnished and the atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. They had free WiFi, coffee, tv, and tasteful music on. It was only about six minutes before a worker grabbed my keys and took my car in. Before I knew it Kevin came to me and nicely explained the things on my car I had been neglecting. I had a exhaust leak and was expecting a costly repair but they were able to repair only the small section of pipe that was leaking. I was there slightly over an hour. I got an oil change at a great price with a coupon and an my car is quiet now!!!!! With service like that I know where I’ll be taking my car.

I have gone to Fast Eddy Salz for all my car needs for the past 8 years. Hes been a mechanic at meineke for almost 1 year and the quality of my car care keeps getting better and better. Meineke is a fast growing business with excellent customer service. They are your neighborhood friends who enjoy fixing peoples cars. They dont try to sell me things I dont need but they also look over my entire car and tell me what I do need during a $20 oil change. Most shops would charge you just for that. Its truly a group of great guys who enjoy providing quality work. They are trustworthy and very loyal to their customers. Theres never a long wait time. I drive a 2000 Honda Civic and one day the catalytic converter disconnected. After searching google for a place to fix it I found positive reviews for this local Middletown Meineke. The reviews weren’t lying. Kevin had my car in within a half hour and went about getting it fixed in not only the best way possible but also the cheapest. I (like many) have had trouble in the past finding a mechanic but had no issues with the guys from this Meineke. They’ll be honest with you and work to find the best solution. I absolutely recommend getting any work done there, big or small.

I have to downgrade what I had originally posted (was a 5). While Kevin works really hard to provide great customer service (and he does), I cant give a 5-star because they installed the wrong lug nuts on my car. He was trying to do a favor and save me some money on replacing bad Ford lug nuts, but they were wrong about using non-OEM parts. It happens, and I cant fault him too much for it, and he worked hard to try and rectify, but ultimately had to go to another place to identify and rectify the problem.

As a student and artist working a part time dead end job I make only enough to skate by. Frank at the front desk really worked with me and knocked the price down to less than half by finding me coupons and taking the labor cost off. Which I could not be more grateful for especially after the holidays. He was extremely friendly and threw in lights and a few things I absolutely needed because they are safety hazards. This is definitely a service my boyfriend and I will be coming back to and send any locals to.

Went in for break service, they found an issue with the caliper that they were able to fix instead of charging me for a full caliper replacement (which they or any other shop could of done). Easy to work with and fast service will return for further work in the future.

These guys are the best i came in with new wheels and they set me up and in great timing they are honest and down to earth people!

After explicitly instructing them what wed like done (and getting a quote), they tried to charge my girlfriend 50% above the quoted price when she went in. Charged her for nearly 3 hours of labor when she was in and out in just over an hour and a half. Untrustworthy business, would strongly discourage patronizing them. Also, be aware, they give customers discounts to write them favorable reviews, so many of the positive comments posted here may be fake.
