After doing a driveway install on my 2015 BMW 4 series (new Bilstein B8 struts, shocks and lower H&R springs) I knew I had to get a 4 wheel alignment. My car already pulled to the right from some potholes, so I called several days prior to making an appointment, (decided to drop off and stay) spoke with Ronnie (Cool Dude, knew about what I installed, gave me confidence right there) made the appointment. I wasnt sure if they would adjust an aftermarket setup.. they did.. not only.. but I was given great direction to fill the gas tank fuel, I set the tire pressure to 35 PSI.. they said no worries we will check it, they weighted car 150 lbs, centered steering . Stop in day of (met with Gladys what a sweet heart) I was able to enjoy my coffee and bagel from DOWNTOWN BAGLES (

Gladys and her Husband are so friendly and helpful! I bought a 2014 Mini Cooper Clubman, and a month into owning it the check engine light came on. It needed a whole new coolant system. I had no idea where to take it as most regular mechanics wont touch the Minis. These guys took me in same day, and communicated every step of the way. They even sent pictures and explained what things were and why they were important to fix and the whole system was warrantied in the end! A few weeks later my engine overheated, one of the hoses was leaking coolant. I had it towed back to first class and they completely honored that warranty and didnt charge me a cent! So grateful to have found a trustworthy mechanic! Plus they have a super cute parrot in the shop lol!

I had a wonderful experience with First Class Alignment and Repair. I recently brought a vehicle through Carvana that was making some unusal noises and took it to First Class to have it checked out. Being that it they were about to close, i had to leave the car. fearing that i was going to be stranded because i live about 30 min away, one of the guys at the shop gave me a ride to Enterprise to get a rental. I truly appreciate it. While at the shop, Gladys and her crew took the time to do a complete diagnostic (with pictures and video) of everything good and bad with the car, which was printed out and emailed to me. Gladys also called me to explain everything that was wrong, and the best way to proceed. To me, this was exceptional because unbeknownst to First Class, i took the car to another shop a day prior and i was told the car was fine. I didnt recieve any print out or anything from the other shop, just word of mouth. Being that the car was still under warranty, i didnt have to pay much out of pocket, so that was cool with me. Coming from the city, i will be in need of repair shop (hopefully not to much) that i feel is honest, fair and straightforward, and i belive First Class Auto and Alignment fits the bill. Always love coming here. I feel safe and I trust them with my cars. They never once have steered me wrong and they will not push something that doesnt need to be done. What initially drew me to 1st class was the SUNY orange student discount (i believe it’s 10%) but their professionalism and reliability gained my trust and continued service. Ms. Gladys always accommodates my family and myself when it comes to our vehicle repairs. She always greets us with a smile and she has a level of compassion that is unmatched in comparison to any other repair shop I’ve been to. Ronnie (one of the mechanics) usually greets me with a smile and casual caring conversation. He is very knowledgeable and skilled about repairs and always dedicates himself to finding the solution to any issue. ALL the mechanics that work at 1st class alignment work here because they have a passion for fixing and maintaining vehicles not for a paycheck. Every single time our cars are checked we are given a diagnostic check report (as seen as below) showing current pictures of our vehicles as well as things that are in good standing, upcoming needed repairs, and if need be URGENT repairs. This was my first time coming to this location and it will not be my last. Firstly they took me in even though they were booked for the day but they made it work because they know I was concerned about my car. They were honest about the time frame and I was ok with waiting. They took their time going over the issues and gave me recommendations. No pushing and I felt like I was treated fairly which doesnt happen often as a female going to a mechanic. The lady we dealt with was Gladys and she was both knowledgeable the professional.

I’ve only been in New York for a little under a year and have brought both my vehicles in for maintenance here and have had outstanding service. The first time bringing the vehicle in was on a short phone call notice and they delivered a incredible satisfaction. I’ve worked with Ronald each time and appreciate the hard work he puts in to his customers. He even stayed a little later to fix an issue I had with my truck and answered my phone call immediately after when I had questions. I will go no where else for maintenance I cannot do myself.

I brought in my BMW 335i to have the tiebrod ends replaced. They installed them backwards.I also had an AUDI TT that needed an axle replaced under warranty. The part had to be be replaced 6 times within 2 months then all of a sudden the rack and pinion developed a debelitating leak causing the rack to fail. I had personally inspected the underside of the vehicle prior to returning the vehicle for axle repair and saw no leaks or torn boots.

After a few recommendations and some research, I came to 1st Class Alignment and Repair for the first time earlier this week for some much needed work on my vehicle.From start to finish, 1st Class truly provided service that was true to its name. Ronnie was my point of contact during the whole process and to say he was phenomenal would be an understatement. Not only did he take the time to explain anything I had questions on, he also called with periodic updates on how the work was coming along.Excellent customer service, great work and affordable prices are not something you come by often in this type of industry. Theyre great. Staff is friendly and keeps you updated. They are honest and that is the selling point. They arent trying to sell you something you dont need. Plus i love the bird.

They always make sure to help the customer rather than help their pockets. They do their best to do what’s best for us (whether it be cheaper prices or coming up with a plan to do the things that are more important). It’s genius because I have gained my trust with them to the point where I’ll come here for everything! And if you’re a regular customer, they give a discount for paying in cash.

Great place to get work done to your car. They are extremely knowledgeable. I walked in one day with an issue and the guy there took the time to explain my problem, what needed to be done to fix it and how long it would take. One thing he explained that really impressed me, that I have never seen at another shop is each of his mechanics has a specialty so when that job comes in, it goes to the specialist. Will bring my car back any time.

Took my car in to figure out what that god awful sound was coming from the rear of the vehicle. Handsome redheaded guy at the counter told me I needed to replace my rear wheel bearings, had me out the door in about an hour. Was able to do it on my lunch, no muss no fuss. Great folks there.

This place is full of space cadets. They dont listen to what you tell them. In fact, one of the mechanics drove my car home to try to figure out the problem and let it run out of gas! They were told to fix an issue that they never fixed. After working on the car, they left the hood open and it almost flew up while I was driving! Oh and they also couldnt locate my keys upon my arrival to get the car. If i could give this place 0 stars, I would.

These guys are the most considerate, competent, and economical repair shop in Middletown. I could go on and on about my repeated pleasant experiences with 1st Class Auto, but most recently they found and repaired an issue that nobody else could find and also let me know that my power steering pump was leaking, while it was still under warranty through Honda, which saved me about $600. These guys are kind, compassionate, and always a pleasure to deal with and are particularly sensitive to individuals of limited means. I wish this company continued success and prosperity in Middletown - give them a try!

This shop is on the list of most expensive shops in the area, for the prices they changed, it would have been better to have taken my car to BMW, the work as substandard as I had to return several times for adjustments. This is the first mechanics shop Ive been to that said, we dont know what the problem is, but isnt that your job to figure it out? Seek other options before going here, or youll be sorry.

Im not entirely convinced that they didnt take advantage of my elderly mother when she took her minivan for the taillight to be replaced. Instead, they seemed to find problem after problem where there didnt seem to be before, costing us five times more than expected.

If you do not try to spend $400 to $500 in this store only for the annual inspection, JUST KEEP AWAY FROM HERE. This month I drove here for inspection and they give me more than $400 of quote, when I say I dont need that and I will go, they getting rude and impute the problem on NYS system...but fortunately I spent only $21 in another store, and the technician said the problem is not actually a problem, no need to change the part.
