Had a appointment between 12 and 5 spoke with the tech Jason at 1030 or 11 that morning he said he had a cancelation and could come earlier if I was at the office I said no I will be there in a hour he said ok ill call you back after my next appointment lol no call came untill 3 from a man name Dave who said that Jason went home due to weather and would need to reschedule my repair the funny part was as he was telling me it rained all day the sun was out yes that day was rainy in the morning but all afternoon it was cloudy the bottom line is they are very unprofessional and really should get there stories straight before they call there customer who has been waiting all day I will never use this company again

Please save your time and take your business to Nanuet Safelite. I had two gentleman named Andrew and Jared service and replace my windshield on May 19th, when I went to pick it up the glass was defected with a huge glare on the driver’s side and 2 lights were lit up on my dash indicating all of my safety features were off, my brake assist, lane assist, every safety feature that’s controlled by the front camera was off and not working. When I called the next morning to address the issues they did not seem to care or want to look at the issue and told me to take it to another safelite location. I took my car over to Nanuet and thankfully was able to get an appointment the following week. They replaced my windshield due to the defect and recalibrated the camera correctly. They did not let me leave the parking lot until they went over all the work they did and made sure I was happy and my camera was working again until I left the lot. Please take your vehicle to a place that values their work and doesn’t do the bare minimum. I have children and I had to drive around with disconnected safety features due to Middletown’s negligence. Nanuet is the way to go!

Worst experience ever. Made an appointment..the wait till literally a minute before my scheduled appointment as I arrived at the establishment to call and tell me that they dont have my windshield and it would be four more days till they can reorder it. They charged the most for installation 379...so you would think it would mean speedy service smh. Went to a neighboring window place in middletown ny and got the same service for 280 with fast service and prompt texts to inform me when they were ready. If you can find another window service do that and avoid safelite.

They had replaced my windshield due to poor install the first time . From this poor install I had water damage and my interior head liner was falling down. They payed for the repairs of the rust and paint as they should have because they messed up, but when I brought up about the headliner they told me it was caused by the age of my car which is ridiculous because there was no issue until the leak, i showed them water stains and all and still said they aren’t fixing it, and they still had to come out again and fix it again because it was leaking again, can’t wait to see when the next rain fall comes .

If I could give negative stars I would. I am still trying to get my car fixed after 8 months. They replaced my windshield but said I had to come in to get my eyesight recalibrated. I went in twice, sat outside (because of COVID) and they couldnt get it done. They said they needed to contact Subaru directly and some other insurance stuff. I never heard back from them. I couldnt get in touch with them because they arent answering phone calls because of COVID (makes not sense). I had to physically go in the shop and complain. The manager gave me his card. I called shop directly, and again, got the same run around that they need to put in the paperwork with insurance and Subaru. I have been driving a car that has the safety features turned off for months now. Do not use this place. The problem is, because they started the work, I cant even go somewhere else to get it fixed without paying out of pocket.

They did an excellent job on our truck, since we paid out of pocket they gave me a coupon, that’s going there extra mile! They were friendly and had the work done on time.

These guys did a excellent. My trucks windshield was replaced in a timely manner and the staff vacuumed the truck out and made sure everything was I. Place and clean. Definitely recommend them.

The appointment was easy to make, they handled all insurance issues. The person I felt with when dropping off& picking up was great & the installer was great. The only complaint I have is a big one.. They never explained there needed to be a full take of gas when dropping off the car. I explained I was dropping the car off & making other arrangements to get my husband to work & would pick it up later in the day when the car was finished. Because I was not informed I had to drop off my husband, return back to the shop take the car to fill it up & then return to drop the car back off which set me back approx 45min. My only hope would be to inform your customers so it doesnt happen again. Otherwise great service.

In and out with a chip in windshield.come early so they can explain warranty they know what their doing and have the customer service to back it up.

Every professional and very helpful. Had a warranty service before I even was it of the car they met me at the car. They had my car in the bay and repaired in an hour. Great service

William was a fantastic worker and got the job done quickly and effectively. He managed to get all my important stickers (registration, etc.) off the old windshield and onto the new one flawlessly. He even vacuumed the car which was a nice surprise.

The man very rude to the customers waiting for repair. Been almost 2 hours still waiting for a new wind shield. When asked well how long does it take for the replacement. He responded it’s not like it’s the 1970s. What the hell does that mean??????? Rude unprofessional an bitter.

I made the appointment by phone and it was fast and easy. They came to the house I didn’t have to be there which means I didn’t have to miss work, I got the email of when It was done and a detailed receipt. I defiantly recommend their services.

Safelite in Middletown is fantastic and amazing. Great and friendly staff and prompt service. I was in and out of there in no time . My windshield was replaced by Eric and he did an amazing job.

The technicians came out to replace my glass. When they were moving my stickers (registration & inspection) they voided my inspection. They left without notifying me & thankfully I noticed it before I drove the car. I called the customer service line & they told me that when moving the stickers, this could happen but agreed that I should’ve been notified. They then advised me to print out some forms & bring them to the DMV to get my sticker replaced. That information was incorrect & I spent a lot of my day on a scavenger hunt to get my sticker replaced. I finally got correct information & now I have to pay for a new inspection sticker. Since I have to wait for it in the mail, I am expected to carry around my safelite receipt so I don’t get a ticket. This experience would not have been so bad had the technician just informed me that my sticker was voided.

They came to my address and 40 minutes later new windshield.

Worst experience and a perfect example of why I hate corporate. Safelite postponed my appointment and what they advertised as a 10 minute procedure turned into a week long ordeal

So after doing some digging my used car had a windshield replaced by this branch of Safelite on 04/26/16 before I bought it. My insurance adjustor was able to pull this information up by the cars vin number. Moving on, the windshield seal was bad ( no damage to the windshield itself though) and recently started leaking and caused quite a bit of damage. There was mold growing on the passenger side carpet. Apparently their warranty isn’t transferrable through owners even if there is proof they were the last ones to replace the windshield. I won’t ever do business here not only because their windshield seal couldn’t hold up for 2 years but because I had to pay for the damages done to my car not caused by my negligence but buy this Safelites. Shame on you educate your techs better. I hope all of you that go to this location no the risk of going here after reading my experience.Updated:The dealership has contacted a Safelite technician that they told me has worked with their dealership for years and they feel confident that he’ll fix the issue. This technician from Safelite said the windshield was not sealed properly or installed correctly. He couldn’t believe that this was installed by another Safelite location until he saw the report from the adjuster. This is huge issue and if any of my family would of gotten hurt due to this windshield not being adhered to the car correctly and got into an accident ur warranty wouldn’t of held up in court. I’m absolutely taken back by this whole situation not only the money aspect of it, but that the windshield wouldn’t of held up if we got into a serious accident all because of a sloppy installation job. Over $ 2,000 in damages done to my van bc of poorly installed windshield from this Middletown Safelite location. Oh and it’s been 6 days and nobody from Safelite has reached out to me. Do ur self a favor and avoid this location completely especially if u have a van.

Glass fixed...in a timely fashion

Had a new windshield installed on my 2017 Honda Pilot AWD Elite. I was worried with all the tech in the vehicle that the install would cause issues. I have had the car back for 3 days now and safelite in Middletown, NY did an amazing job. Not only was the windshield replaced with an OEM replacement but they also re-calibrated the camera system that controls the accident mitigation braking system. It was an amazingly clean and professional install with NO defects whatsoever. Everything was neat and clean in the car after service and I could not even tell the windshield was replaced except the crack was gone. Thank you safelite of Middletown, NY for an amazing job!
