Great experience working with Salesperson David Brock and the General Manager Jon Narcessian. My Daughter was buying her first car on her own and David was patient and took the time to walked my daughter through the options that would be a good fit for her. After she selected her vehicle, David sat in the vehicle and explained all of the features to my daughter. I have never seen a Salesperson walk through this so thoroughly. GM Jon was engaging and on the showroom floor engaging customers and adding support to customers. Overall this was a terrific experience and I would strongly recommend this dealership for anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Rohan, Leah, Greg and Paul, all of whom were courteous, accommodating, friendly and went above and beyond to make it a great experience. I just purchased my new 2022 Hyundai Sonata at Hyundai of Newport and couldnt be more impressed with the service I received!The gentleman that took care of me was Greg Slater, Internet Manager. Although he is not their day to day salesman, I had the pleasure of working with him and was not disappointed. He took his time with me, answered every question I had regarding my lease trade in and the new vehicle I purchased, and he didnt push me to buy a car just to put commission money into his own pocket like any typical salesman (neither did Jon the sales manager when finalizing the lease trade in/purchase). Greg was very personable and took care of me as any valued customer should be. He kept me posted on the remote starter that I had installed, he updated me when the temporary plates came in, etc.Also, shoutout to Leah in Finance for making my finance paperwork so quick and painless! She too did not disappoint. She made sure to explain what documents I was signing and explained my warranty options to the T.Not to mention! I had a few little hiccups with my car after taking it off the lot. I brought it back over the weekend and the service department looked at my car first thing Monday morning. They addressed every concern I had with the vehicle, and Greg even made it a point to follow up with me on a status report before picking it up even though he didnt have to.Overall, Ive never had such a good experience at a car dealership before. I will be recommending them to all of my friends and family :-)

Make sure you ask for Dave Brock. This is the absolute easiest and smoothest transaction Ive ever had purchasing a vehicle. It took under 2 hours and my monthly payment is way below budget. I had great experience when purchasing my vehicle there a year ago and dealing with the sales staff. I did not have as good an experience dealing with the service department.When calling to set up for an oil change, I was experiencing an issue with the clip that holds my brake pad. It is loose and needs to be put back in place to stop the ringing when I drive and cause further wear. The ringing stops as soon as I tap my brakes, the brakes work completely fine. When explaining this to the service associate I was on the phone with, they told me that I needed new brakes. I just bought this vehicle last year and have put maybe 10,000 miles on it, I have driven a vehicle with poor brakes before, the car does not need new brakes. The clip just needs to be adjusted. They also were trying to tell me I bought my car in January, repeatedly said “well in 16 months... you could need new brakes”. No sir, I bought my car 12 months ago, almost to the date. To tell me you are gonna replace my brakes and charge me for it before even looking at the vehicle, I will take my service elsewhere. Very dissatisfied with how I was spoken to, I am a female but I know a decent amount about cars and do not deserve to be spoken to like I am stupid.

My husband and I went in looking to do a lease swap with our Mazda. We were told they “don’t do that because Mazdas don’t qualify.” After we just left Chevy and they said that they would do it for us (we decided not to because they didn’t have what we were looking for). We stood around waiting for 20 minutes for them to call and get a lease pay off and they realized that they could in fact do a lease swap. Their attitudes did a quick shift once they knew they could do business with us. We test drove the car we were interested in, but decided the payment wasn’t where we wanted it to be. Came back and told them we were going to look elsewhere because the payment was just above what we wanted. They said okay and we left. Super weird experience. No bargaining with us. The service was lacking and we did not feel welcomed as soon as we walked in the door. We ended up leasing a car at the Nisson dealer and the experience was much better.

I was dreading purchasing a vehicle, after having an uncomfortable experience at a different dealership, but as soon as I walked into the sales department at Hyundai of Newport, I was immediately at ease! David Brock was very friendly, and he really listened to my needs and concerns. He found me the perfect vehicle! His approach was ideal for me, as he treated me with respect and didn’t try to push me into any vehicles I didn’t want (unlike my experience at the other dealership). I feel like he really cared about what I was telling him, and I am extremely grateful for his patience. I absolutely love my car, and I am amazed at the quality at a price I could afford.I highly recommend this dealership and give extremely high praise to the sales department. Jon and his staff made my car purchase experience simple and stress free. From the first email right through delivery in the pouring rain, they remained professional and made me feel at ease. Even though Hyundai of Newport is a smaller dealership, I didn’t feel like they were rushing me, and they never pressured me throughout the entire process. There were no gimmicks and the price I paid was exactly the price Jon and I had discussed prior to heading into the dealership.Rohan was a friendly, knowledgeable salesman and talked me through all of the technology in my new Palisade, even in the worst weather conditions we had seen in a while. Great out of state purchase experience! I was in the market for a Hyundai Kona Electric which is not sold in Minnesota. I hit up many dealers and a lot of them literally told me to not waste their time. Greg Slater of Newport Hyundai answered my inquiry immediately with no sales tactics, no lets get you in for a test drive even though youre 1000 miles away mumbo jumbo. He gave me an out the door figure and let me think about it on my own without a bunch of follow up emails or asking for my number. The offer was competitive with a few other dealers but the communication with Greg was miles above the others so I went with his offer. The whole process was pretty much painless. If youre looking for a car out of state, this is a great experience.

I feel like that should have been done before the car is even on the site.Other than that tho Id Def recommend buying a car from them.

Unfortunately when we received the vehicle there were some issues (camera, cracked window, and rim marks). This location was able to fit my car in the same day I brought it in emergency. The people I dealt with were very nice and helpful!I did have one issue involving getting my car back. They finished working on it shortly before closing so they said theyd leave the key in the car in a specific location. I get there to pick it up & the car is locked with my key inside. My boyfriend ended up having to bring me back the next day after searching for my spare key.

I gave them two stars for a nice selection of used cars. But, Ive been there five times in the last three years, at least. They all look at me, but no one every comes out and ask me simple questions like hey, do you need help? Theres no magic in selling cars anymore, they sell themselves. I dont want to work to spend my money. And, I always come to dealers with financing already arranged.Typically, you get sales people who are a bit too much. In contrast, they seemed to be insufficient. I guess they dont want to sell me a Volvo. On to the next dealer.

I bought my car from them a little over a year ago and have only gotten oil changes from them. I brought my car in for an oil change to them a couple weeks ago and everything was great. Today I got a flat on my tire and had it changed at my husbands work. They also decided to check my fluids and oil. When they did, my oil was black and missing a quart of oil. Its only been two weeks and the car never leaves the island. From what the mechanic stated, it looks like they changed the filter but never the oil that I paid them to do. Thankfully my engine is still good and the car is going to be okay but clearly the shop isnt doing what they say they do. Its sad because I thought pretty highly of them and they have always done what they said they would and more. Looks like its time for a new Hyundai dealership to handle my car.

Extremely poor customer service. Had my vehicle serviced at the dealership and a few days after I noticed a few things that were conflicting with my receipt stated. I went to service area to try and get more information, I was talking to the gentleman at the counter right as you walk in and then another work who had nothing to do with our conversation started yelling at me. Being told that i was wrong and have no idea what Im talking about. Mind you, all i did was come in to see if I could figure out what was actually done, not to complain or ask for money back, nothing like that and I was instantly yelled at by a worker.

I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend Hyundai of Newport.I just took my new 3-4 month old baby (Tuscon) for its first check up. The service was excellent. I dropped off my car and did not have to wait for a shuttle. Instead an available member of the staff drove and dropped me off at my place of work. They took care of my needs timely so that I could be picked up from work at a time when I was able to take a break. Took my Hyundai into the service department for a routine oil change and other seasonal prep. Bryan was very helpful when I called to setup the appointment. When I showed up he went over the work I was asking for to make sure we both understood. While I was waiting I had a nice chat with one of the managers as well, walking around to make sure I was well cared for.From there I barely had time to read my book; the whole process took no more than an hour. Bryan made sure to explain what work had been done before I left and what the results were, and everything came to a very fair price.Definitely a more pleasant experience than I was expecting from a dealership.

Ive been working with Hyundai of Newport for years and their sales and service departments are beyond comparison! Too many car dealers are so big that they cant handle a personal sales or service experience. They just want your money and dont care if youre happy with the car or even the dealership. Hyundai of Newport isnt like that at all...theyre one of the very few dealerships that does care about the person, the car and your whole experience. They are easily one of the best dealerships in the area hands down! I contacted Hyundai Roadside assistance (FREE!) and we made arrangements to go to the dealer I chose, Hyundai of Newport, even though another was 2 miles closer. Well Im glad I did. I spoke with Brian the service manager and he was nothing but courteous, reassuring, patient and HELPFUL. Not only did he have my daughters car fixed within 2 days (needed to order a part), they also drove her home AND picked her up when the car was ready!! They also banged out the 2 recall services that we needed to have done. I have NEVER received customer service like this IN MY LIFE from ANYWHERE!! I HIGHLY recommend Hyundai of Newport and can guarantee that if my daughter has ANY more issues with her car, that they are the ONLY dealer I will go to! Absolutely terrible, if I could give it a negative I would. Within a month of buying a new car both tail lights and right headlight had moisture inside. I brought the vehicle back to them to fix, they took pics of it and said they need to get an approval from the manufacturer and should take a cpl days. It has now been 2 months, they wont return my calls and now I have to take time our of work and lose pay to go there

Negotiated everything via email and phone. Didnt need to play typical games at the dealership like most places. Once price was settled over the phone only had to spend 25 minutes inside. David Brock was our salesmen. Not your typical look for a salesmen which was refreshing. He was great.

Although I moved to Fall River, I prefer the services in Middletown. The service there is top notch, They take the time to go over the diagnostics in language I can understand, and they take the time to answer my questions. My car was cleaned and vacuumed, which is something I dont take the time to do. Water and a cookie goes a long way too. They have my business.

Im driving a 2016 model Hyundai! The auto-buttons are a little new to me, since my last car was over 20 yrs old, but Im loving it just as much, and the ad-free Sirius radio comes with a lot of good music. Of course, Rohan insisted on helping me tune it- much appreciated. Rohans just a little laid-back, and I enjoyed all 3 test drives w him! Im looking forward to visiting soon, for my new plates, and maybe some more coffee!

Horrible customer service! Service shop wont even do a basic vacuum job in your vehicle when you bring it in for servicing, that is considered an upcharge! They lost my business, now I will go off island of I ever consider buying a Hyundai again. The sad part was that the vehicle was actually a good vehicle.

Took my car in for a manufacture defect. After a week waiting for the part finally got it fixed no problem. Few days later get told my car was not actually coverd under warranty due to my vin says its a scraped car its not barely a year old. I ask if maybe they got the vin wrong? Get told by one of their service specialists that there is no possible way and how am I going to now going to pay for repair. After multiple times bring up the vin could be wrong I finally get them to check the vin and realize that they have the wrong one. Then get asked to bring my registration in to prove that I gave the correct one makes me think they believed I lied about the vin over the phone. I know mistakes get made but pretty much saying Im lying and asking how I will pay for something and not verfiying their end after a customer says something is wrong is unacceptable and terrible customer service.

Contacted this place about a Charger they advertised online and their website. Tried for 2 weeks to get much of any information about. Greg was nice enough to email a picture once and said they like to Drive it for awhile themselves before getting it to the service center and on the showroom. Never got a call or email back about it again after leaving my contact information. Come to find out it was sold a day ago. Plenty of time to at least let a prosepctive customer be in the loop. Honestly seems that is was a quick sale to a friend of the business more than anything. If this is any indication of their practices before sale would hate to see anything post sale. 2 stars given because Greg was a peach on the phone and seemed eager to assit.
