Went into the his Drivetime office and worked with Derek. He was beyond amazing, he showed me all the cars i was interested in, gave me options, accepted my feedback, and worked to make sure i was satisfied. You can tell he loves his job, he may be a salesman but he treats you like family, making sure you’re getting the best deal possible and it’s within your means. Beware, this company sells salvaged vehicles. From the time we took it off the lot 2 years ago we have had to replace one part after another. 4 months after purchasing the vehicle I was pulled over by a police officer because the VIN didn’t match the color listed. Here to find out it was purchased in NY at a salvage auction and repainted and we bought it at DriveTime. We called DriveTime, their warranty, and the loan to tell them what we found out and that we were having (and still having) issues with our vehicle and they refused to help stating we signed the contract we owe the money. We have put over $10,000 into this vehicle (pretty much have had to restructure the whole engine) on a vehicle that is now only worth maybe $3,000 that was purchased exactly 2 years ago for $13,000. We can’t even trade it in or we would bottom up. This is a crooked company and we are now seeking legal advice since this company will do whatever they can to make a buck. Including sellingsalvaged cars. Take the VIN and look it up prior to purchase and not just car fax cause car fax doesn’t have all the info.

They completely rip you off. That’s how these places work. You’ll never get ahead and you’ll always owe more than it’s worth. We put $7000 down, it lowered our monthly payments but they never once took it off the total amount.

I have thousands of dollars ready to put down on a down payment, I’m approved, and had my vehicle picked out. I was informed on the phone that they could not move the vehicle for me due to COVID 19. Which is odd considering I would guarantee they have new inventory brought in regularly. But if a customer is ready to buy a vehicle, you can’t move it? You lost a customer.

I will never buy a car from anyone again. I bought my first car through drive time and boy do I regret it !! I had good credit and I was very naive and just needed a car. It’s been 3 years since I bought it and I refinanced it last year at a 780 credit score and I STILL owe 8k for a 2013 Chevy impala only worth 3k. I am now married to a dealer and would be more than happy to buy a decent car in cash but I still have this monkey on my back.

From the get go communication was clear, represented well and easy to understand. I never felt any pressure, only kind assistance in finding the right car. I’m building my credit from the bottom up so I have a high interest rate but I got a great car that runs great, drives great and has all the bells and whistles. I waited to write this review after I drove the car a while. I bought it 2 months ago, drove it all the way to California and back and never had an issue. I did not purchase the extended warranty as I felt aftermarket car warranties are often a hoax. I definitely recommend DT especially if you have poor credit.

I applied for financing and was told I was approved. I made it very clear in both an email and a phone call that I had a specific type of income. I was assured each time that I was approved.Fast forward to my appointment at the dealership. Will they accept my income? Nope. Were they the least bit apologetic that I was twice misled? Nope. Did it make a difference when I showed the salesperson the email where I explained my income and was assured approval? Nope.They appear to have a decent selection of nice, reasonably priced vehicles. Their customer service, however, is non-existent and not a priority. Their customer service agents are misinformed and unapologetic.If it were possible, Id give zero stars.

Bought a car there the only thing good about them was there sales people were nice but other than that they will rip you off with interest rate and all their warrants suck I had to replace the engine in my car they wouldnt cover it. I put a 1500 dollar down payment and still pay a 21% I shouldve said never mind but it was my first car and I was 19 at the time of purchase. I will NEVER buy from drive time ever again and Ill never recommend anyone to buy from them.

I probably won’t be back. I explained that I just relocated to OH and my car was totaled a week ago. I needed a car to get to a new job on Monday. Paul K forgot my name and threatened to keep my social security card because I had an out of state drivers license. He never looked at any of my documents and seemed bothered that I came in. He scoffed at my down payment amount. I felt so embarrassed that I offered more money. He really made me feel like a criminal. Even though I needed a paystub which I understood, I want Drivetime to know that he seemed very interested in my new job, the location, how much I would be paid and who to contact only to turn me away.*After receiving a satisfactory reply from DriveTime, I went back. I was treated like a person this time. The terms of my online approval were honored! I was able to purchase the vehicle I wanted. Bernard helped me this time and he was awesome! Kudos to the Ohio management team as well. Everyone was polite and professional.!

A very nice, friendly and pressure free environment. We were seen as soon as we arrived, even though we were a bit early from our originally scheduled appointment time.
