Best vinyl store in Miami hands down. Been shopping at this location and all the other various locations for the last 25 years. Evan has a great knowledge and always is helpful. Store may not be as flashy or trendy as some of your other Miami shops including techniques. However prices are fare.

I love this small record store! Ive only been twice but will definitely be back more often now that Ive gotten into records and I see why the hobby is so addictive. Crate digging is a ton of fun. Great selection and well organized. Decent prices and the owner is super knowledgeable and friendly!

Delightful experience! This was my first record store experience ever but it was so much fun. I went w a friend and we spent some time finding fun records. They have a serious collection and I found a gem there that was very reasonably priced. This particular record goes for 3 times what I paid. The owner is really sweet and extremely knowledgeable. When he cashed us out he shared some cool tid-bits about the records we were buying.

I was surprised with a trip to this gem for my birthday today. Upon walking in, I was pleasantly surprised at just how VAST their collection ranged.But... as I dug deeper and started looking with a fine-toothed comb, there was MORE. MORE GEMS! RSD re-prints, imports, re-issues, sessions, live vinyls. This place has everything. Legitimately everything from comedy to punk to jazz.If youre looking for rare finds, you NEED to check these guys out.

Record stores and coming back, but few have stayed so long so true to themselves as this one. I’ve been here many times and never a disappointment. Evan is as knowledgeable a man as you’ll ever meet one, especially if, like me, you’re into sixties and seventies music. True, prices are a little higher than your average store, but the more you learn the more you understand the reason for it. It’s a record store you grow into, and the more serious you get about collecting, the more you will love it. I’ve been to record stores in over ten states and three counties, and this is still one of my favorites.

Been going there since the early 80s when I was in high school and the original store was just 4 blocks from my house. It was a rite of passage and great place to hear and get Indie music. Revisited the new location, been there several times. Always helpful, the new owner. Every time I go there takes me back to my punk and hardcore says. They participate on record day... it’s worth it.

This place is incredible. Thank god covid left this place untouched. Its a haven for serious collectors and casual collectors alike. The owner is charming and kind, and very knowledgable when it comes to music. The only complaint I have is that the location is very small and packed, which makes it difficult to traverse the aisles when theres more than 2 people inside. Amazing record store, deserves your business.

Love how intimate it is and how great you get to interact with the owner and other buyers. I would highly recommend this place because it has rare gems and all the vinyls are in great shape and condition. If you ever need to order something online that you cant find anywhere else, they got you !

Great place if youre looking for classic oldies vinyls. Everything is organized so its easy to find what youre looking for. The place is very tight and not sure if the cashier is the owner but he was very helpful.

I have about 140 vinyls from grandpa who passed away and didnt know what to do with them. I passed by when the owner was there and he took his time to go through all of them and pick out what he was interested in. He was very nice and I did not feel rushed nor felt like oh someone else that doesnt know anything about vinyls trying to drop off stuffI had a good experience selling and while I was there I saw how he took care of all his customers with care. You can tell he loves his clients and his business.So if you have some vinyl that you dont know what to do with go here, if youre into purchasing i say pass by here as well.

This is the record store equivalent of an old bookshop. Stacks and stacks of vinyl pouring out of every conceivable place. Things are hard to find and you definitely have to dig, but more than any other shop in town, youll come across the unexpected.If you go, make sure you leave yourself plenty of time, you wont regret a single minute.

I visited and I was really impressed with all the Record that I saw, amazing place, my son is only 18 old and purchased something from the 80 wow.

I just called to get information ( I am looking to buy as a gift) and the nicest gentleman who answered the phone explained everything in detail and extremely nice. Will visit store later today for sure.

This is THE vinyl store to go to. These guys are an INSTITUTION in South Florida. Owner Evan is a musical encyclopedia. I have been going to Y&T since original owner Rich Ulloa opened shop in the early eighties and I got turned onto a lot of cool music thanks to this store. Rich has since moved on (I believe he went to work for the US Post Office) but Evan continues to carry the torch. Dont bother going to any other store if its cool vinyl youre looking for. This is THE PLACE!

Great little shop, every time Ive been there and had a question they were very knowledgeable. Not a thrift shop; so the prices are more like prices if youd buy it new today, but its because the selection they have is in excellent condition. Very much seems like they hand pick the items, instead of getting a huge pile that someone is throwing out, and turning around and putting it out there for sale without reviewing it.You are able to bring a portable turntable to sample the content of things that arent sealed but only with a new needle/excellent shape needle. Or they have offered to play some stuff on the house deck if need be.I really dont even look at other places around town when looking for a record.

Small room, tight paths walled by colorful stacks of record sleeves. Nice clerks. Will allow you to test a record before buying. Interesting collection from across the decades. Most of it is music, some of it is stand up comedy, or novelty stuff.

Im reluctant to write a review because Yesterday and Today is a Miami landmark. In a city with little love for physical media collection, I always want it to remain the small, tucked away vinyl library gem that I fondly remember.The owners love to check out your selections and guide you toward suggestions, revealing obscure picks youre guaranteed to fall in love - and show off to your friends.I love this shop - its not flashy but I could spend hours digging through the rare imports and unreleased pressings. Go to Sweat for new releases but come to Y & T to uncover your next favorite late 60s psychedelic band.

Great record store with a big selection of music. I bought my girlfriend a record player about a year ago so we are not too knowledgeable on records. The man there is very helpful and knows a lot about each record in his inventory. Any full price record has a 30 day guarantee that if it doesnt play you can come back and exchange it for another and hell order the same record for you if he doesnt have anymore. Parking is very limited and small and the store itself can get pretty tight with just a few people in there but it is definitely worth it.

Evan the store manager, is very down to earth type of guy! He really helped me picking out that Otis Redding record during Record Store Day and even got me to buy another record there! He seems to know cool 60s freakbeat/psych garage bands!! So go to him if youre looking for some obscured 60s psych stuff!!!

Owner seemed nice but....here, I bought some bargain vinyls..then when paying and went browsing some more while he makes the invoice, the owner went quickly to compare the vinyls with the regular price ones ! To see if I have switched them ! Inconceivable. What an insult! Then changed price of some albums and overcharged me. No way Jose. He can keep his records. Never coming back again.

I want to love it. I do. I want to support my local record store. However the prices do not make that possible. Take a brand-new multi-disc album that is $14 higher than Amazon. I expect Amazon to be lower due to pricing power but come on. Used albums can easily cost 4x the price what you can find on discogs and 3 x the price on Amazon from individual sellers. They have plenty of equipment but none of it is for sale and the guy who works there really cant explain why says they will be for sale one day but who knows. It is sorta crazy

Recently went to this record store and, yes while it’s a teeny little place, i absolutely loved it! THEY HAVE EVERYTHING!! the staff is really friendly and will find you anything your looking for (its a tight space with a lot of merchandise so your better off asking). Came out with an original print Fleetwood Mac Album in limited edition color (imported from England) and an Elvis album. I honestly wish i could buy everything bc the vinyls are kindly priced. Definitely pass by!

It is an amazing little shop and the experience is awesome. Its uncomfortably small, however, overpacked with merchandise and just a bit disorganized (they do have some alphabetically ordered sections. though!) so be ready to shuffle around every once in a while if theres more than 1 shopper. Definitely reccomend to anyone looking for vinyls.
