Ive used Florida lumber company before, they have a decent selection but what matters to me is time.They are very expeditious and thats why I use them.I fully recommend them.

When Fla. Lumber delivered 22 12’ cedar boards, 14 were cracked all the way through and some were missing chunks of wood,in other words, pieces broken off .Had to argue for them to take defective boards back.Called office, told them I will pickup boards myself at store.when they gave me replacment boards, they were exactly ones I refused, from delivery men.I had to argue and I ended up taking same defective boards .will post pics.Delivery men didn’t speak english as well as most workers that kept yelling at me.Ended up leaving with 4 broken boards but after insisting they still replace other returned boards for 1 hour.Guess I’m lucky to get most corrected after extreme heated argument with ones that didn’t speak english.Trying to add more photos, Will try later.Side note,Fla Lumber has the best, by far, cedar boards for fence, sanded on one side to stain, if desired.Only issue is half had defects,otherwise truly the best cedar in Miami.

I bought 1 x 6 x 16 groove and tongue 60 units and 12 of them were broken when delivered. call back to get a refund they told i had to buy new ones for a higher price.. BAD SERVICE - NEVER BUY HERE AGAIN .

Very bad customer service, if you come you jave to wait so long time to be attended, workers just doesnt know anything about their job, believe me this is a nightmare. This place is the best latin nightmare example of what NOT to do with your company

Some of the worst customer service and follow up from a hardware store provider. We had numerous delays and was even told my order was sold to another customer. Stayed patient and awaited delivery only to get delivered the wrong door sizes. Called and spoke to my rep, she apologized and told me should would get back to me and never called me back. We love the finished doors but do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else and avoid the headache! Any money I saved buying from them was lost due to my own time on the phone and the fact that I needed to pay someone to cut the doors down.UPDATE Owner reply: admitting to selling my order to another customer due to covid hahaha. Additionally, I had to cut the doors down because it was delivered wrong and when I spoke to the rep she never got back to me. When I called again to tell her how disappointed I was she told me someone would call me back, that never happened. Hence the negative review. I can see from your reviews you have sharp pricing but lack of communication and customer service needs to be addressed. Best of luck!!!

Worst Customer Service I have ever dealt with. They delivered my order and didnt even tell me there would be missing interior doors until I noticed they were missing from my order. When I addressed it, they told me the doors were on back order. Two weeks later and they still dont have an answer and continue to give me the run around and tell me the following week the doors will arrive. They still have no answers but they have my money. Never again!!

Saw the reviews and thought I would take a chance anyways and I was happy I did they really surprised us with their customer service and product. I really enjoy supporting a local business that knows how to take care of their customers instead of the big box stores

Called in to request stock of certain material and was hung up by the expert in the matter. I gave him some measurements to see if he could advise of the materials that i might need and his response was that he is not an architect, and does not create blue prints. Made no sense and uncalled for, their their staff just doesnt care.

Their service is excellent! They went above and beyond to help us with the doors for our house. Rey was our sales associate and he did everything to make sure we got the doors on time and exactly the sizes we needed. I highly recommend this place.

I would like to begin stating that Im currently remodeling my 5th property and it’s the first time I’ve used Florida Lumber for my interior door needs. I’ve used other popular companies in town and this has by far been the best experience. Especially Rey Avila who assisted throughout the entire process. I ordered 9 interior doors including a custom double door order as well as baseboards. He was experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects to moldings/casings, baseboards sizing, door sizing ect ect. He always responded to my emails and calls and always allowed open communication for any questions I had. Price is also very reasonable for the quality. To say the least I’ll continue to use them from here on.

It was fast, accurate and excellent in all senses.

I send out 3 email in January and we in March and im still waiting for a call back or email back with the information i provided good job guys.

The worst experience I’ve had with a supplier. Florida Lumber are a bunch of thieves working there who don’t care about customers. They will never return calls. Juan, a Manager there, is rude to customers and has no problem to steal from you. The prices change all the time: one price to purchase and a different one when they have to give you a refund. DON’T BUY FROM FLORIDA LUMBER!

I have purchased 2, 4 × 12 ×20 I asked if I could select the timber myself as I wanted to make sure that the wood was in good condition. Well after selecting the wood and informing the sales rep Arturo Brito who guaranteed me that the wood I selected would be delivered. Well that was not the case. This place is very knowledgeable, committed to excellence, extremely well staffed, offer a surprisingly wide variety of goods and services, and operate in a customer-centric manner. There is no question that this is where I will be buying lumber from now onward.

If you see a positive review it must be from one of their employees. Between the horrible store hours and extremely week customer service.. I can only wonder why this place has not closed down. Also, their prices are not even competitive.. Might as well go to Home Depot or Lowes... Never shopping their again after two recent discouraging attempts.

This place is terrible. First of all, I understand there is a large Hispanic population in Miami but its a huge turn off when you have a hard time finding someone that speaks English fluently at a large store like this. They are understaffed or just staffed by people that dont really care. I work as a contractor and my shop is 2 minutes from their store but I happily drive 15 minutes out of my way to Shell Lumber in Coconut Grove to get what I need now. Better selection, English speaking employees and Im welcomed as soon as I walk in the door. Screw this place.

Wonderful service and products at a fraction of the cost of some of the other stores I visited. The staff members were very knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service!

Bought some sound Barrie sheets they charge me to cut down, and after a week I call back and they told me they were too busy! To come and get it, or get a refund, after a week of waiting for them! Why they say that they can cut it and now they are too busy to take care ofA client! I guess they only care about big companies!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE. They will take your money and you will NEVER get it back if something happens. I ordered some material and after weeks (a couple of days before the product was supposed to be delivered) of the order being placed, they called me and said that the product was not available. I had to go with a cheaper material and they never gave me the difference.

Came to look for materials for a small personal project. Staff was not friendly and irritable. If youre a woman dont even bother. You will walk in and feel helpless and be treated like sh**while everyone stares at you with hungry eyes while you walk around to look for the materials you need. Thanks for nothing yall. I walked in and no one even looked at me. I guess they were too busy talking to each other. After about 20 minutes of walking around the store looking for things for myself, I asked one of the raunchy, loud, and rowdy staff for help and he didnt speak English. In fact, no one in the store speaks English. I walked out and will never walk back in. I wish I had two more hands so that I could give them four thumbs down.

Liars and thieves. Theres a liar there named Anwar. Their manager lies and steals from customers. Literally stole products off my order and reentered them in her inventory. That thief scribbled a line on a delivery order and says that proves delivery. Liars and thieves. Thousands of dollars Ive spent with them and that _unt is gonna steal $110 from me? Out of principal, I will never do business with them again and recommend you do the same.

Horrible!! Jorge Castillo from the plumbing department is horible at customer service. Be careful with him. He wont return anything. Always looking for a way to say NO. Also Castillo has no experience with plumbing what so ever. Would never buy there again. Home depot or lowes is the way to go!
