Went in and I saw two people by the section I needed help with, I asked, do any of you work here? a fat man in a black polo turned around and said Cant you see I am helping another person? Super rude, mind you from the back their Polo shirts dont say Ace or have any logos.Suffice it to say I assisted myself, which is why I dont go to Home Depot.First and last, so much for The Friendly PlaceWhen I brought the items to the registed the Cashier was no better.She asked me how much was it, I said, I dont know, I dont work here.What a mess.Quality of customer service in this store has gone out the window.Transaction at 1:05pm #D12331

I and my father, which he is no longer with us due to Covid-19, have been their customer for almost 40 years. When the Everglades was in the rear of the store. There is no place, like this, where you can find almost everything you need. Not even Home Depot has those almost hard to find 70s and 1980s items or parts, without the use of the internet. Old school, rocks. The owner still goes to the store at 3:00 - 5:00 am to make sure the store is well stock. I should know. I walk the Miller Shopping Area, with my black female German Shepard, while they are unloading the goods off the Ace Hardware delivery truck. Keep it going, Sir. Thank you!

If I had the option to select NO stars I would.On Sunday April 18th, I went in to make a purchase at this store. It will definitely be my last time shopping there. I cannot support a business that has no respect for employees or customers. The owner is extremely unprofessional and rude. As I was at the register checking out, I couldn’t help but overhear a conversation taking place at the counter just steps away from me. The owner was addressing an employee in front of other employees and several customers. Apparently she made a mistake and was being reprimanded in front of all those people. To the point that she began to cry. After I had heard enough I told the owner how unprofessional it was of him to address an employee in front of her colleagues and customers. He was actually insulted and began arguing with me as if I was wrong. The owner and management staff clearly need to be trained on privacy laws that protect employees. Employees should never be addressed in front of other employees and definitely not in front of customers! This poor woman was humiliated. Owner and Management need to be educated on HIPAA laws as they also brought up personal information regarding the employees health.

On Saturday January 11, 2019 at 12:33 pm, I went to the store to purchase some items and to return a few items. My home was recently remodeled and I had a few items only that were not used. I only had the receipt for one item and the other item which was a Ace screen/storm door chain stop($6.99) I was unable to find. The cashier returned the item with the receipt and charged me for the items I purchased and called a on duty manager. The manager responded and scanned the item and told me it’s been 30 days there is nothing I can do for you. I asked if he can check the system since I purchase all of the items using my credit card and he again told me it’s over 30 days. I proceeded to explain to him that I have been a loyal customer for over twenty years and that rather going to Home Depot which returns any items I choose to support local small business in my neighborhood.I then asked him if he was willing to lose a customer over a $6.99 item. He just stared at me and told me to have a nice day in a condensing manner. I was very disappointed and told him I would be contact the business owner regarding his lack of support and poor customer service skills which isn’t good for business. I did not get his name but he is a short Hispanic male with black and gray hair and wears glasses.I sent an e mail to the store regarding this issue and I never received a reply.The company I work for is local and we also purchase many items from your store. I’m writing this review to inform you that you have lost a loyal customer and I will not be authorizing any business purchases at your location.

My favorite part of Ace Hardware store is the nuts and bolts section, better organized then Home Depot and a large selection. May time while working on my cars or projects, nuts get stripped and/or bolts break. I go over to Ace and find the needed replacement. The store associates are friendly and do there best to satisfy your needs.

Good hardware, large variety of bolts, but some cashiers girl may not like working there, watch out when pay, a cashier girl charge me 4 items I didnt bought, I had to wait a week for the manager to get a refund.

I have been a customer for over 25 years. Most the employees have been kind and helpful. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic I recently bought an item online and after ordering it, I noticed I ordered the wrong item. The website did not allow me to cancel since the order had already been processed (understandably so). When I received the call the the item had arrived, I explained that I wanted to return it, so the caller told me that they couldnt do that on the phone, to come by and they would have to process the credit when I came in, at which point I told her I would be go in. When I went on Sunday morning I explained to the girl that I came to get a credit on my item, and then who I am assuming is the manager, owner or attendant came to explain that I would have to come back. When I disputed that I couldnt understand why they just wouldnt process a credit, the gentleman ( and I am being nice calling him a gentleman) proceeded to tell me that He was just trying to help me (in other words lady shut up) in a quite offensive tone. I was never offensive or aggressive with him, so I was surprised by his reaction. Anyway after he explained that they could not process the credit because the girl in the office that does that was not there ( I guess because its Sunday?) who knows. I told him, I just wanted a credit and that I was absolutely not coming back the next day as he insisted. I was not willing to take a risk going out again, over a $16 item.But that is OK, not worth getting aggravated. What really bothered me most was his hot headed attitude towards a customer. Thanks but no thanks. The 25 years of customer loyalty just went out the door. It was a bad experience and he very much embarrassed me because his attitude was uncalled for. I understand these are trying times but people are seeking the familiar convenient small places like Ace to try to continue with their lives and at the same time support the neighbor shops, which is what I was doing. I have never had an experience like that before and I am not a young woman.

You can find some stuff here that you cant find of the Big Chain hardware stores which Im very appreciated of

This is my go to store. They are family friendly and very helpful. Today I needed a 5 gallon drum of paver sealer (and I could not go pick it up) and Sandy made it happen and had it delivered to my home on a moments notice. Now, thats what I call customer service. They are are great people.

Bought some wrench socket today to find out that it was $11 cheaper at Autoparts. Returned a few hours later and NO, we dont take returns on tools, is written in the glass door, door I did not take a look at because the guy helping me had already opened. The tools were unused, not even finger prints. SHAME ON YOU ACE HARDWARE. Way to go on treating the people who makes your business go.

Best place for hardware, never failed me they have any nut bolt screw you will ever need. Staff is the best unlike the other places where your literally playing “hide and seek” to get some help and when you do find someone they can’t help or they’ll tell you “sorry not my department”. At Ace the staff approaches you, simple as “how can I help you?” so satisfying knowing that someone actually wants to help you because they are knowledgeable.

The staff here are very knowledgeable and will help you find anything you need quickly. They also stock HVAC capacitors which are hard to find on a weekend because most electrical suppliers are closed on weekends. I bought a capacitor from this location and I was to repair my A/C unit the same day.

This is the second time I have gone here and the second time I got zero helpful assistance. It seems if you want to correct a problem with something at home these guys just want to tell you it has to be redone instead of helping you come up with a fix for it.

My wife snapped her house key on the door. I removed the lock and took it to Ace to see if it could find a replacement piece but the associate who made me the spare wanted to try and remove the broken key. He eventually managed to get the piece free and I was able to reassemble the door lock without issue. He really went above and beyond for me and I really appreciate it.

Those people there are very helpful and know everything.

My AC was not working. At beginning I thought its bad Capacitor. I took the SH capacitor to many stores such as Homedepot etc but Homedepot does not sell it any more.Finally found ACE hardware.They are super nice to check my rusted capacitor for free and find its good. And they suggest me to check out the relay. I checked it and yes its the problem of relay. It cost me only less than $18 to replace a relay and my AC works again. Im very very very happy about the experience with this store. They did not just sell, they care.Recommend to everyone!!!!
