I love this store specially for organizing its great you find everything you need. And the building a closet the best specially when youre doing it yourself no handyman needed.

I was there on Saturday, September 11th, and I always forget how nice the staff is. We spoke to 4 different employees while there and every single one of them were great representations of the company.

I have usually received very good service at this Kendall store which is why I was so surprised at the rudeness of the older lady who helped me today. She might have been having a bad day but being rude to a customer is never okay. I asked to have my two bookshelves unboxed so I wouldnt have to take the packing material home. I have purchased a total of 10 bookcases and this service was never a problem before. This lady actually huffed at me and basically told me to unbox it myself. If it is not store policy to do this, a simple explanation would have sufficed, but the people who had unboxed my previous bookcases had never made it seem like a problem. Very shocked at her behavior.

Love this place. Everyone is very helpful. The cashiers are a little slow in ringing you up so there is a bit of a line to pay but other than that its great.

Amazing place but we had an awful experience.There was an extremely disrespectful staff named Christopher. At first he was telling us to properly wear our mask which is understandable; however, we have plenty of doctor written notes a stating we are not forced to wear it because of our severe respiratory issues. I understand the store has it’s own rules but come on, the store was empty and closed and no one was nearby, it did not bother him at all. He was also talking bad about my mother to another staff member and making it very obvious, which is unacceptable for someone serving a customer. After that, he was very rude and while we were in line waiting to pay for our stuff, he assisted the people behind us and after that started talking to the lady assisting the people in front of us. After confronting him, he says he has to assist that lady helping the person in front of us, but then we told him that’s not his job and to please help us at the cash register because we had been waiting for a while. Thinking that was the end of his disrespectfulness, we were shocked when we saw him looking thoroughly & with detail into all of the stuff that we bought making sure we weren’t stealing anything. We spoke to the store Manager, Monica and she seemed to not care at all. Great place, awful staff.

Waited over 45 minutes to get a shelf unit that they had in stock. They insisted that they didn’t after the 30 minute wait time, expecting me to leave without it so they didn’t have to look for it. After they “found It” the wait line was absurd.I had gone a day before and the staff was 1000x better. The morning staff on Friday August 3rd was THE WORSE.

If you like to organize them I suggest you check out this place

I dont mind paying their OUTRAGES HIGH prices when service is premium but BAD SERVICE and HIGH PRICES simply doesn’t do it for me anymore.THIS STORE IS RUN SO BADLY - headquarters should pay attention (?).I own rental property and i have done ALL my closets from the Container store but recently their service is practically NONE - THE STORE IS A ZOO with staff who are either completely incompetent or simply not trained properly or it MIGHT just be THEY simply they just dont care- either way coming here is NOT LONGER PLEASURE.Waited 40 minutes to have 4 shelves cut when the store was practically empty.BAD SERVICE!!!

Friendly staff, just do not like the almost constant line for the cash registers when there are lots of people in the store. There seem to be enough staff that the management could jump on the register for 5 minutes to eliminate the line. I have actually not bought anything here because the line was stretching to the back of the store and it was not a pre-holiday time or anything.

Got helped by Felipe for the initial design of our new master closet, and then Sharon for some revisions. Both times the quality of customer service was top notch. We need more people like this who understand how to treat customers. I felt like family walking in, and Felipe even remembered me with a mask on and only seeing me once. This is my 4th closet design. Ill continue to always bring my business here. Thanks again to Felipe and Sharon.

Extremely badly run store. Long wait times at checkout even when they supposedly say don’t wait in line to collect online orders. They basically ignore you until they choose to serve you. Staff always seem harried and flustered no matter the time of day and are consistently rude.I love the store concept and it’s products and honestly if I didn’t I would just stop shopping here. Terrible, terrible customer service.

Great store with innovative and life-transforming systems as well a cool stuff for home, office, and business. The Elfa systems I have are a blessing in my life! Cant live without them.

It’s always a good place!

Poor customer service. We got an item from a rack but the cashier told us that the price was incorrect. They had all the section messed up with wrong priced items, very confusing to any consumer. And rather than fixing their mistake and honoring the price that was on a rack, the cashier refused to help. He said no to our request to speak to their manager as well. In todays world the retail must be organized and provide an excellent experience, so the customers will be happy to come back. I hope they will fix that.

I went to the container store for the first time today. I was looking for some specific small glass containers which I found. I needed 12 of them. I also needed a container to hold these. I asked a store associate near the area if they had a container to hold the 12. She said, no sorry I don’t and walked away in less than 2 seconds and made no effort to help me. I felt this was inappropriate and disrespectful. She obviously had no desire to help me as a customer. It was disheartening. It’s the container store, this is the whole purpose of this store. That said, I looked around and was able to find a container that held all 12 glass containers. It took me a while because I did not know the store. I really wish the service associate would have at least pointed me in the right direction and provided some options.

Love this store but its a little pricey for me.

Im giving the employees five stars for working short staffed and not walking out of there. Employees were furloughed and 4 hard working people were working the whole store on a busy Sunday. Truckna arrived and they didnt have the manpower to stock the shelves. Hope they hired the people back. Very helpful staff. If its like that the next time I go in there Im taking 2 of my stars back (shakes index finger at management and corporate).

I wanted to write a review about the Container Store chain in general, and because this is the one I shop at, I chose this one to review; I really wanted to review their good customer service.I bought something here and it ended up breaking quickly; bought another and it, too, broke. So, I wrote a review on the Container Store website, gave it a one star, and didn’t hesitate to express my displeasure with the item (I rarely write bad reviews).Within a day or two, the Container Store posted a response that someone would contact me (I didn’t request anyone contact me, I was just venting about the product). I then received an email, and an offer of a replacement of the item; they offered me a higher-quality item that was more expensive. I was asked to provide my address and they would ship it to me. I provided my address. A day or two later, I received an email confirmation that the better item had shipped. Then, I received the better, replacement item within a day. I was shocked at this excellent customer service (again, I hadn’t requested a replacement; just wrote a review).I received the better item within 2 weeks of posting my review. Hence, this review. I love this store and all the cool gadgets they sell to help you organize. But, what I really love is this great customer service. THIS is the way a business should conduct themselves; they saw an unhappy customer and fixed it – that cost them very little and made their unhappy customer happy. I VERY much appreciate that. I am going to try and edit my scathing review to note that they did this; but, I don’t think the website allows edits. I stand by my review of the product, but am very happy at the Container Store’s response.As for this Dadeland store. It is very convenient to the mall, plenty of free parking, employees are always nice and helpful. The store is clean and well-organized. There isn’t anything to not like about the store. Normally, when I buy things there, they are of good quality – the item I complained about, that was the exception. When I spend my money, I appreciate a place that stands by their products and that’s what the Container Store did – and they did it quickly. I am very impressed!

The staff at this location are extremely helpful and accommodating. Monica is very friendly and goes above and beyond to provide stellar customer service.

Call today to ask a simple question on how to remove the Elfa Utility Board, the lady answered the phone did not have the slightest clue and hesitated to transfer my call for someone to help me. Afterwards she put me on hold for 15+ min, no one pick up the call to assist me. I hanged up and called again and they picked up my call and hanged up on me. I called several times after and no one picked up my call. They complete ignored my calls.

This location is always clean and in my experience every person is always willing to help.I love their products, always in my list when comes to organize.

I am giving the container store 1 star in order to post. My issue is with customer service. They don’t answer the phone. They don’t respond to emails or requests for call backs. They reply on Twitter with canned messages in order to portray their goodwill only to ignore your replies. Before you buy online from them check all of the complaints on Twitter. I ordered in March. After waiting over a month I canceled my order. A couple of weeks later they charged my credit card and shipped the canceled order. Now they are ignoring all of my attempts to reach them. They might be going out of business. Beware before ordering anything from them. Horrible Customer Service!!!!

Great finds and things hard to find elsewhere

I love organizing and this place has it all! I have their Elfa closets and shelving units installed in all my closets and pantry and they withstand very heavy items on them. Installation was fairly easy and they helped me design what was best for my needs. If you have an organizing issue tell them about it and they will probably have some gadget to help make your home look more organized and your life just a little simpler. Although you can find comparable items in look and function elsewhere for less, they dont last as long and in the end as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.

My first impression was that the store was very nice and organized and has many decently priced items to make your house look great. However I came in for one item and I was in a bit of a rush. I asked the first customer associate I saw if he knew where the moving blankets were. He then told me that they did not sell those. I then explained that I saw online that they did sell them. He said if they did that he didnt know where theyd be. So I had to go isle by isle to find what I needed. Then when I got to pay there were 4 people in line waiting, and at least 4 employees in the area but only 2 people working the cashier. And right when it was our turn the cashier said I needed to wait for the other cashier because she needed to organize the hangers. Mind you I only had ONE item to pay for!!! The actual cashier who finally rang me up was nice but the employees were not considerate of the customers wait time.

Always find what I need at the container store. Today it is a rubberized tray from Copenhagen to hold shoes next to the front door.

Stuff here comes from China and its just a slightly more expensive place than IKEA . Ikea has a ton more with way better prices. If you have the money to burn on cheap stuff this is the place for you. You can also drive in traffic for a bit and enjoy a better shopping experience at the Ikea by dolphin mall.

Great store that has a solution for all your storage needs at reasonable prices. Extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff with fantastic customer service. Allen designed our closet and he was phenomenal.

The products are Amazing!The Elfa shelves are Outstanding!The Staff not so much. Staff needs to be more attentive, they are lacking customer service skills. If it werent for such a Great product, I wouldnt return. I have owned Elfa shelves for over 10yrs and would not use any other system. I am torn with this review.

Worst customer service! After passing three sales associates and waiting for custom designer, no one spoke or acknowledged me while shopping. They were NOT currently busy. Don’t waste your time and money at this location.

Place pretty nice and with variety, thought is pretty expensive. A classic metalic archiver cost here 200$ and the same in Walmart by 40$ . Employees are nice and educated. I dont give it 5 stars only for the prices.

Worst customer service. I was with my screaming toddler and I asked quickly one of the employees where something was located and she straight out told me revert rudely I can’t help I’m busy. Last time I shop there.

I felt everything in this store was over priced. Knowing that office Depot was next door and majority of all the items can be found within the area or to save a drive, online for way less. But the price wasnt the issue, the cashier who didnt want to adjust the price for me because I didnt sign up for the marketing promotions was my issue. So they lost the sale. I dont give my information to any company, not a email nor phone number. Its not a issue what the price is just dont force me or anyone to give personal information.

Great place for those of you in need of containers

There is no customer service. Elfa sale going on but there is only 2 people doing designs & sales & +10-12 customers. usually they take yr name & give u a number but no one doing that either. 1 guy at the front register. the guy who is supposed to be at the back register is milling about. i asked him where the design staff is & the number systrem but he was worthless. CS train yr employees a little better.Bottom line CS lost a loyal customer.

For anything home and organization related, this is the place to go! I love coming here.

The Container Store sends people to your house who do not work for the store and do not work for the person they claim does their installations. They send out persons with unknown names, unknown identities and the people are just moonlighting for the installer who does not do any installations himself. Beware! I do not recommend find another person to do your closet installations and another place to have your closets re-done. Customer Service is very rude and very very poor.
