Came in there 2 weeks ago during my visit in Miami, definitely clean and definitely stocked. Hope this location stays for many days to come despite the company falling apart over the years. Great store 🏬

Fairly well stocked for one of only two Kmarts left in Florida. The other being in Key West, FL. Pretty clean store, we’ll managed and some of the best employees you’ll ever meet! Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff! Highly recommend a stop at this Kmart if you’re in the greater Miami Dade area!

Two portions of the store is closed off! I’d say a good 0.3333! The staff is very friendly and the store is well lit! How much longer will this store last. The merchandise is kinda eh.

Its one of the last open locations and its kinda sad how it looks now, but I am glad its still open and it offers a lot of 90s style toys for girls and kids besides the typical hardware and clothes, I loved it, I wish they would update a few things but its really impressive how well organized they keep it, Lets help them stay afloat, thanks for holding on

I really miss Kmart. There was a down-home friendliness about the old ones. A snack bar where you could sit and chat with new-found friends over a fresh-fried egg and toast - not just a microwaved pizza slice in a box or a $4 paper cup of coffee. I miss the excitement of blue-light specials, even knowing that the savings were not huge. I miss Kmart products that filled a special niche -- affordable but fairly good quality -- sort of like a Harbor Freight offers today. But over the years Kmart got better with products we didnt want and size we didnt need while our governments let internet sellers slide on taxing sales. Deep down I hope a new, leaner Kmart may once again grace our neighborhoods. Walmart needs competition.

Store is very organized; neat and well kept. The prices are good and they have a lot of items on sale as well. They have great variety on most of their items, especially toys! I also love that it doesnt get disgustingly crowded with people like other places do.

They need to revamp this store that looks old, hasnt changed in 40 years and reduce some prices too. They cant compete with Walmart. The only thing they have going is they have plus sizes. I like the cotton Jacqueline Smith panties. I bought a pajama for my mom and then went to Marshalls nearby and found a nicer one and cheaper there.

This store has been here for as long as Ive lived in Kendall .. probably go in once every 3 months looking for something specific and its the same .. few customers, 1 cashier, A/C barely on.. store is mostly stocked but definitely no foot traffic like Walmart - I suspect mainly due to not having a full grocery and some of their pricing .. went there this past Saturday and I was only the 10th car in their lot .. sad.. worker said they have no plan on closing yet 🤔

This being one of the last Kmarts in the Miami area it is pretty dirty, very dated (exactly like a scene from a 1980s movie), and expensive. Needs a facelift, hopefully with some greenery.

Should close this store, they close the one in 8 street and 122 Ave in Miami, was a beautiful well maintained place and keep this one in Kendall open, nonsense decision.

Great store still open 11-6 everyday as of right now and yes must wear mask and only one worker. Still good store to be old and shutting down. Along with last one in FL.

Good selection of merchandise; found everything on my list. Could use a broader selection of items. Not crowded like Walmart which is a bonus in the COVID era. Although the infrastructure is dated, looks like its being kept clean and tidy. Ill be coming back.

Bus route 88 leaves one close to here. Saw easy access to disabled parking and restrooms and also a burger king close by you eat inside. Ate with my mother. Also clean restrooms.

I usually avoid this store because of the rude employees (even had one drop an f bomb by the checkout in front of my child). But I went tonight and looks like Kmart is improving their training. The employees were extremely friendly and courteous. Our cashier Christopher was so cheerful, and it was the end of the night. We will definitely return again.

The most unprofessional, rude people who work there. I purchased stuff online and I went to return them at 14091 Sw 88th street Miami, Fl 33183 and they told me that the things i purchased online were not sold at Kmart and I couldn’t return the items! This is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!! If i purchased it online in Kmart then clearly it’s sold in stores so there shouldn’t be an issue for returning the items!!! If I could give negative stars I would!!!!! They need to learn how to treat the customers with respect and go above and behind for your customers. It’s called CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!

This is one of the best does here in Kendall... The only problem they have is the long lines. They dont have enough cashiers, and sometimes it can take you more than half hour to pay for your products.I gave the store give starts because they help you to find the products you need and the people there are very nice. Worst customer service, order online to pickup in the store and after waiting they just said to go and get it while employees were just walking around. Definitely not recommended. No wonder they are running out of business.

9 November 2020I have always liked K~Mart stores, but they all went belly up out of business since 2018 in California, Colorado and Florida.Only 1 open in Miami and one in Key West.Sears has also gone belly up in bankruptcy.I was surprised to find one in Miami still open.

Its always been my go to place.

Not many good things. Prices are not extraordinaries to make nobody to want to go back.Dark. The cashier was rude.

Almost every Kmart we have been to has a strong smell of moth balls including this one. That is why we dont usually shop there. This is a last resort for when everything else is closed or too packed. Some good selections for household items. The Little Cesars Pizza at this Kmart was replaced with isles of baby merchandise.

I dont know if the store is going out of business but it was mostly empty and products were expensive considering its KMart.

Placed an online order for something that was available in the store (wanted the online price which was better) employee told me when the employee in charge of online orders gets in, then they start the process. She didnt bother to help me process the order which was 1 item. Figures why shes working there. Horrible service . Cancelled my ordered and bought the item elsewhere. After that experience, I rather pay double.

Its close for good too bad my favorite store..

Went on to get pajamas for my elderly mom. The place is a mess. No decent selection. The only reason I gave this rating two stars is because a very nice Dominican lady helped me find what I needed. She went out of her way.

Make sure to check carefully whatever you buy because all sales are final. You wont be getting an exchange or return since they are going out of business.

The collapse of the last non-closing Kmart in South FL is imminent. The cut back in products tells the story. The bad customer service is the nail in the coffin for this location.

I HATE coming to this store!! They look at you funny as if youre going to steal. The store IS always dirty and the racks are a mess!! You NEVER find your size!! The clothes rip/tear easily and last 4 washes and shrink after first wash!! The Customer Service SUCKS!!! Rude people. Dont care about customers. Lines are ridiculously long!! This store is awful... It is the worst big box store I know. There are 2 to 3 cashiers open TOPS. They used old outdated IBM point of sales from the 80s. The employees are awful and no one cares about anything. Its the equivalent of county employees working in a retail store. Even the online purchase / store pick up is atrocious. Took me almost an hour to pick something up the one time i placed an online order. I knew the store was the worst but I figured well, its just picking something up, how bad could it be? BAD... I dont know how this store even stays open to be honest.

Worst. These people arr the worts. I placed an order online and paid with my husband’s credit card, and the system automatically put his name as the pick up person. I drove all the way from FT. Myers and they just won’t give me the order. And customer service wont change the name picking up the order. There is no respect.

Rude employees but great prices

I dont understand why it has a huge banner saying 24/7 but I arrived at the Kmart at 9:55PM and the manager has literally kicked me out before even entering the store. Extremely rude will not be coming back to Kmart ever again there are better options like Target or Walmart for a much better price.

Incopedent employees with no customer service. Came in for exchange at the customer service register and it was taking regular purchases with more than 20 items, the manager, talking on the phone about her personal life. What is this??No wonder is going out of business

Im giving one start because I have no choice. Manager is disrespectful. Do not place one orders here!!!! Youll place an order, they dont have the quantity so theyll give the 1/5 of what you order and charge you the same. When you advise them of the mistake the manager is super rude and tells you that you either keep it as is despite them charging you for the full ampamo or you return it because its not their problem. Honestly, its the most poorly run store Ive ever encountered. I hope the manager doesnt have to run any other stores or it will be run to the ground. Absolutely terrible experience!!!

Love their clothes

I was in the Kendall store today looking for a pair of work slacks. I asked the person whom was working on the floor in that department if she can help me or at the very least direct me to where I might find them. Her words to me were, What you see is what you can choose from. Also if you dont find it is because youre not really looking so go ask someone at customer service. Needless to say, I was appalled by this womans response. Whatever happened to customer service? So naturally, I left behind my FULL cart of items that I was going to purchase and took my business elsewhere. To Wal-Mart to be exact. Never again will I shop in this particular Kmart.

Misleading prices and extremely horrible customer service! HORRIBLEMy som received a t-shirt for a gift, so we didnt have a receipt . It is too large. We tried to exchange it but they wouldnt let us. I understand the policy, however when you receive a gift it is common not to have a receipt. So as you can see this policy does not support good customer service. I asked for corporate phone number and they gave me four bad numbers. I had to find the information myself. This was just for a purchase costing less than 20 dollars. We didnt want money back, just an exchange. I talked to someone on the complaint line and they wouldnt help. This is why Kmarts are closing. Target and Walmart doesnt make it this difficult to exchange a gift. I will never use your store again!

This place is horrible!!! Placed an order for pickup, got the email to go pick up. These people are rediculous! Was there a hour and a half would have been there longer if I didnt go into the layaway area find the freezer I ordered and throw it in a cart myself. Manager never showed up after associates tried calling her for 45 minutes. No wonder Kmart and Sears are gonna be gone soon!

TERRIBLE! I went to kmart to shop for some plants with my daughters 8 and 5, while i was in the garden center the door was locked on us; we realized that the door was closed when we were preceding to pay. We started banging on the door for 20 minutes, we call the store and nobody answered the phone.The manager of the store locked me and my daughters outside in the gardening center, it was over 90 degrees! I continued to bang on the door my fingers are sore, my daughters were very scared, after a while finally another customer came and tried to open the door but he couldnt, it was locked, he managed to unlock it and let us in. When I went to tell a cashier she apologized and told me to tell the manager.I went to talk to the manager and she scolded me saying everyone knows the gardening center closes at 6pm, and I closed it, there was noone there I WAS, she then said there is another door you could have used that door is not easy visible, she never apologized or tried to make it right, she neglected to identify her self and basically let me know it was our fault.Its no wonder the store is in such bad shape, bad employees create bad customer satisfaction, never going back, you just lost a customer.

I do not understand how Kmart is still surviving!This place is horrible cave, the cleanliness, decoration, and lighting horrible.The customer service even worseI went to pick something I ordered online and I couldnt find where The puck up desk was. When I asked the person who work there they just pointed at the end of the store without willing to help or anything. I went to the end of the store! And guess what?! It wasnt there and I had to find it myself!

Sad...I took my son because he wanted a fishing rod and we were close by. When we went to go pay, I had to endure the conversation the cashier was having with her boyfriend, who was slouched against the counter. After hearing several profanities (MF) I just HAD TO comment about the foul language! At least it shut the guy up - I will avoid this place. Very bad customer service. btw, my son loves the telescoping fishing rod.
