Been coming to this location for over 2 years and have always had a great experience. The staff is very friendly, respectful and organized. Every time Ive had issues with my eyes, they go in detail as to what could be wrong and offer the best possible solution for it. Ive always left satisfied after each visit. Highly recommend 👍🏼

I highly recommend this place. When you walk in you feel a welcoming atmosphere. The doctor was amazing very knowledgeable and patient with my children, explain to me a new treatment option for kids who have myopia. If you are looking for an optometrist for your kids this is the place to go!

Vision Unlimited goes above and beyond. I was there at the end of the day and they patiently taught me how to put in my contacts. Dr. Carcamo engineered some amazing contacts that I see the world through HD vision now! They are very professional and I would highly recommend them!

I recently got my orthokeratology lenses here at a very affordable price compared to the other doctors in Miami and have nothing bad to say about how my treatment is going and I am able to see much better now! The girls in the front desk are very inresponsible and very un professional. I went to get a contact lens eye check up for a new rx, payed out of pocket and then when I was checking out I asked for a copy of my rx to order some contacts and the girl tells me the prescription isn’t finalized yet and to not worry she will call me the same day so I can place my order and I never received a call . It’s Saturday and I won’t be able to place an order till Monday that means I’ll receive my order 3-5 days later . I work I’m the medical field and I would never leave a patient hanging like this . Cold hearted people don’t deserve a position like hers.

Vision Unlimited personnel have gone above and beyond their service and care for its customers. This is my first visit, but my husband 2nd visit in the Doral branch and is been an awesome experience with the Doctor as well as with Mary, that have been very good with the follow up with my prescription glasses and help me deciding which glasses I love the most. Great Job too to the Doral office!!!!

Vision Unlimited personnel have gone above and beyond their service and care for its customers. This is my second visit, in 8 months, and Weston branch was the first visit and they did an awesome job with the Doctor there as well Sarah and Geraldine did too. Now in this Doral Branch, these associates, particularly MARILYN PEREZ has been very good with the follow up with my prescription glasses. Their diligent work have been outstanding with the care, the attention and they saw me without an appointment, due to my urgency. However, I recommend for anyone to make an appointment. Great Job too to the Doral office.

Worse place to go! Spent 2 hrs and never received service.

The whole process was very fast and efficient. The staff is very friendly and were able to answer all my questions in regards to pricing, insurance coverage, warranties etc. Highly recommend getting your glasses or annual checkup there.

Bad customer service, no help after purchase

Everyone is friendly and the products are always good quality but I’ve been going there for approx 4 years and I’ve always paid a certain amount and when I went today after someone else told me that it would be as always same price and everything the receptionist tells me I would have to pay $100 over the amount he said over the phone. Ridiculous, I guess they don’t communicate too much. They used to have special offers too but I guess covid changed their status a bit! I was so upset because the doctor I love works there. Oh well

I’ve been coming here for 3 years now and every time, it’s a horrible experience. For starters: please don’t give us appointment times if you’re going to make patients wait for 1 hour AFTER their set appointment time. Make sure to also have friendlier staff to do that task because the entire staff is just as unwelcoming. Turn on the AC: make the wait at least SOMEWHAT tolerable.The one good thing about this clinic is that the doctor is at least friendly.

The Doctor with the blue eyes is awesome! Professional atmosphere and everything is clean. They take your temperature and give you gloves before entering the office. Keep up the professionalism and awesome work !

Update worst service ever If you have Medicare dont even think to go there [ 06/28/2021]just visited this place for second time because i like the way you guys running this business.Had a little issue con my glasses about the tinted on it .Was missing and i didnt have proof to show i had paid for this service.I recomend to give a detailed order copy to the patient as proof of what was paid for .Thanks for your service, i still have my glasses in your place to be tintedCarlos Perdomo.

I have ordered my contact lenses 29 days ago and they have not gotten to me yet and today is July 8th. Everytime I call they give me a different story but no my contacts. The last time I called they told me that I had to pay the shipping after they told me it was included in the price. I am trying to get a refund on my lenses which seems to be another odyssey. I highly recommend Vision Unlimited. The Doctors and their team always provide excellent service, treat you with respect and answer all your questions with competence. It is always a pleasure to go see them for an eye exam or to purchase glasses from their beautiful selection of frames.

I made my appointment with 1 week in advance and they called to changed and I waited for almost 2 weeks for this appointment and who attended me was a student, the main doctor entered to review the results that the student gave her.I didnt want a student to evaluate me. She never ask me for my problems.

Just want to shine some light on Maria and Rosalia at the Doral location. Not only are they completely patient but they show extreme diligence when it comes to the patients needs. Their pleasant greetings and beautiful smiles are a great welcome when you enter the office. The same Pleasant greeting when you leave makes you feel at ease when visiting the doctor. They went above and beyound to accommadate my daughter and the transfer of her medical information from out of state. The whole staff and the ophthalmologist is great! Went to my appointment and was offered my regular contact lenses brand. When I went to pick them up (after I was told insurance had authorized one year supply) they gave me “six months supply” only and charge me in addition $44.00. I told them it was not professional and acceptable. They only said “we are sorry we made a mistake”, I said a mistake?Since I knew I was not going to resolve my problem and I was not going to listen to their sarcasm I decided to come home.I am writing to my Insurance Company and to CMS.No, I do not recommend this place at all.

I go every year to Vision Unlimited to get anual check up along with a Ratanial work up. The office is very calming and clean, the staff is very nice and friendly and the doctor is great they really take the time to talk to the patient in regards to any concern. They also have a nice selection of frames from very affordable price to high end brands. Definitely will recommend!!!!!

Customer service is deplorable. try calling them i dare you. youre stuck on hold for forever until the voicemail kicks in. if you get a person on the line please hope you have good reception because they will hang up on you no questions asked. also if you do get the insurance on the glasses please note that if you brake them they will replace them but they will ask for the broken ones in exchange meaning that unless you have extra glasses you wont be able to see until they provide the replacement, not to mention the wait time if ridiculous.

My children and I are patients at this facility for about 4 1/2 to 5 yrs. Im rating this place with no stars/ HORRIBLE. Its so sad how they dont care for the patients best interest. My oldest has horrible vision with stigmatism requires glasses 247 of his life. Which would mean anything that the glasses would need additional would be paid by the insurance bc its a medical necessity. Well this lovely place says its a requirement but its additional. So for many years i would get his script and take somewhere more affordable so he can have what he needed. Then i find out that they have been just trying to make money off claiming it additional instead of claiming its a medical necessity so they can help their patients they only want to help themselves. My last apt was in March 2018 and now i have to wait 4 months for another apt. Now I call the doctors office after confirming with my insurance and i tell them whats happening and they said the doctor is not claiming its Medical Necessity. How is that??? Me and my oldest require glasses at all times how would that not be a necessity??? This awful place just wants money doesnt care for patients. Safe yourself from this scam!! Go somewhere else!!

Terrible Customer service, ladies there have horrible temperaments. They do not pick up the phone calls. Doctor was great, I suggest he hires new staff.

Place is neat and clean but not great Customer service ...poor people skills ...long wait even showed up early still waitted 35min past our appointment...they say they see children..I think they need a refresher course in pediatric services...my kids are special needs..and told and called in advance to get him sen asap and minimze his stresses....they didnt even know how to deal no communication and got the look of oh great do we really...I do not recommend this place for kids...the Dr in other hand was very professional and patient...they should reconsider the staff

Beware this fraudulent place! The customer service is fine but the eye exam process itself is downright fraud. I have sat through a number of eye exams with different doctors and this one is the shortest eye exam ever, because they are not comprehensive but charge you like it was a comprehensive eye exam. The office wait time is 30 minutes, then you get called into a room to check the front part of your eye with the slit lamp and then eye pressure with a machine that blows air into your eyes. The technician will then get the prescription of your current eyeglasses and move you to a second room to wait 20 minutes for the doctor. Dr. Mario Carcamo comes in and tests visual acuity by having you look into the phoropter and check refraction by having you read letters off the eye chart as any optometrist would do; the difference being Dr. Mario Carcamo only has you read three lines before finishing up. Other optometrists would have made you read through two different eye charts to be more thorough. Not only that, he only changes the lenses and dials on the phoropter for about 3 to 4 times before finalizing the visual acuity test. A good optometrist wouldve done at least 6. After that, the visit is over; all of what may be seven minutes. No side vision test. No eye movement test. No pupil test. All those tests are what comprises of a comprehensive eye exam according to the American Academy of Ophthalmology. If you care about your eye health which is the reason you would come for an eye exam, dont come here. Dr. Mario Carcamo is a bad optometrist and you are just wasting money.

Horrible customer service. The dress code is unprofessional.Some of the employee seem as if they woke up and without even bathing just came in to work. The employee who first sees you before the doctor is cold and had little to no patience with childrens. This is a place I will not recommend or wish to ever come back to.

The only reason I’m leaving such a bad review it’s because my prescription contacts That were at once 60$ are now 97$ so basically a 100$ for a box I’d contacts that break easily and bother your eyesight, so changing to Walmart optical, hopefully they don’t rip you off as much :/

My grandmother went to have an annual exam. They used her insurance for the exam both for glasses and contacts and still charged her almost $100 more. She was not given a proper eye exam, instead they did a eye pressure test and asked what her old prescription was and just told her to use that one. They did not do a thorough exam but then ripped her off by charging her extra. Dont trust these people.

Is expensive and the quality of care is awful. It deserves less than a single star. Not worth your money I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The frames of the glasses that cover the insurance are too bad. In May we sent my two children to make the glasses and in a period of 5 months the frames have been broken 2 or 3 times for each child ... and it is not because of how the children treat their glasses, it is because of the material of those saddles ... lousy

If you can go somewhere else go !!! I do not recommend this one in Doral, very bad attention, the receptionist is lazy from working, my daughter wears glasses since she was 4 years old and she is 11 and we have never been treated so badly in a place and more when it comes to visual health, They never asked if he could see well, they didnt try them on, that is, they dont care if he can see well or badly, I had to beg him to adjust his glasses.

If I had the opportunity to give him less than one Star I would give it. My personal experience was very unpleasant. The staff welcomes you very kindly in the 3 offices that I could go to Sunset, Kendall and Doral but the process from the beginning is very BAD, first if you ask for the information you need to know to decide if you stay with them, they DO NOT give it to you., They DO NOT know which lenses you could choose for your insurance, because they must check first, to that point I accept it, by checking your insurance they already know what it is but they CANNOT tell you which lenses you can choose until the Doctor does not see it, OK now At that point you should stay with them (they check your insurance and the doctor has already seen you), and they inform you that they do NOT have 1 pair of glasses in that office that covers Medicaid, they send it to Kendall, it arrives at that He does not have an office and it is that moment where they tell him only in Doral is that there is the Medicaid kid, when you go to Doral the kid only has 4 pairs of glasses and it takes 3 to 5 weeks. Warning if you want to get glasses from brands that insurance does not cover but your pocket will have the best service, they have unlimited brands of all but if you want to go for your Medicaid insurance, I do not recommend it. Ah !!! The whole process took 1 month and a half. NO options for people with Medicaid Vision Insurance.

Very little professionalism regarding the schedule. My appointment scheduled for 11:20 and I play a 30 minute wait at 11:50 the receptionist tells me that I have to wait for the doctor to store 5 patients ahead. Very bad appointment scheduling at this Clinic. I left and of course I do not return

There are no complaints about the visit with the Doctor. He was very cordial and sincere. However, when it came to choosing the glasses, they were very impatient and even rude. When I picked them up I lacked professionalism and they didnt even measure me. The truth was only pleasant for the Doctor and his contagious joy.

The attention is good, both from those who make the evaluation and those who take your order. The waiting time a little long, I was almost two hours inside the premises. I have not received my glasses yet. It was for today and I called and they are not ready. I hope the post sale is good.

I did not like it and I do not think to return. I went with my child on a Saturday, by appointment, which was not respected. The delay was terrible. The doctor examined the child but his insistence that he buy the $ 1500 glasses per year, which are worn at night only. I did not like it. Even telling him that this option was not accessible to me, he continued to insist desperately, avoiding other alternatives. I did not like the service.
