Don’t order contacts in store ever. If you order by email or by text you will pay less money. In store they’ll upcharge you and then try to tell you it’s because you only ordered six month supply and the special price is for a year supply, but the price via email and text are also for six month supply. Skip the store just order online and then pick up at store.
Really bad service didn’t help me out and reacted badly when I was trying to get help from them. They should change the staff because I have been a client for years and their products are good but they should try to hire more understandable people.

She was so friendly and kind in assisting me in putting in my trial contact lenses. The doctor was thorough, very professional and took his time to get my prescription right. I love my new glasses. I visited this doctors office referred by my insurance. I had a bad experience with the doctor i went to last year. This visit was very different the doctor is very pleasant and had good recommendations, unlike the previous doctor i went who seemed to be in a rush and annoyed to be doing my exam. The staff was very courteous and informative. It is good to inform that i had gone to my providers site and basically memorized my benefits and all i was entitled to but i still played it like i didnt know just to test the place. All the information i was given was exactly as my insurance information stated. I cannot comment on getting frames since i saw frames somewhere else that i really liked and unfortunately they did not carry it. But i definitely will keep visiting this location for my check ups.
The staff was wonderful and very friendly and attentive to my elderly dad. The doctor was truly amazing as well. Very patient and knowledgeable. I will be going back for my own vision test next.
Great staff. Recently bought my Gucci glasses and i am in LOVE!! i was so indecisive with so many options, but they took the time to show me their selections and i couldnt be happier with my purchase. i will definitely be back to purchase new sunglasses. i recommend this place 100% :)
Rose was professional and proficient in handling our appointment. I was extremely happy to find online appointment setting available and then the follow up for the confirmation of the appointments was promptly received first thing in the morning of the next day after I had scheduled the appointments. Dr. Lagomarsini was great at explaining the reasons for the procedures done at the appointment. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for the ease of online appointment setting and the professionalism of all the staff in the office. I do not really care for Dadeland mall, however, their location is conveniently located in the less crowded part of the mall and there is ample seating available close by to wait comfortably while the pupils dilate. ☆It would help if the patients could pick out frames before having their pupils dilated☆ Glasses were ready for pick up at lightning speed. I was notified via email once they were ready.

For the past seven years Ive lived in Miami I have been a patron to this optometrist, however, customer service has never been there best quality. Optometrist is excellent and probably the best one I have ever experienced but that front desk staff treat you like you are a second rate citizen. Oh and believe I see how the other people are treated. Well you lost a loyal customer. I dont even live on this side of town anymore and havent for five years but yet a drive almost an hour to come here. Never again
I am reviewing based on the doctors visit/ eye exam.The doctor is amazing!!!! I went for an eye exam and felt wonderful about the entire process. Everyone was kind and friendly from the start. The doctor made us feel at home and was very friendly, its rare to find a doctor that cares and has a sense of humor. He actually explained everything including why certain glasses/contacts are fit a certain way. I have been to many eye doctors and this one is hands down the BEST I have ever been too. I will be telling everyone this is the place to go! Thank you!

Ive purchased several pairs of glasses from here and always receive great service. The Dr is also fantastic. I have my annual exams there and always have a great experience. Highly recommended. Customer for over 5 years now.
I came here to get my eye exam here, the Doctor is great. the only problem was my glasses prescription is not right. Brough back my glasses twice to get it corrected and still can see clearly at all. Still have issues with my left eye side. I have to go and get me a new pair somewhere else frustrating will not go back. Brought my glasses to get adjust, the manager at this location is horrible no sense of caring. I will definitely tell everyone I know not to come here worse customer service.
They did not disclosed the return policy. I went 15 days after to return a pair of sunglasses I have bought, and had to settle with something I did not love. $400 waisted ... feel robbed and taken advantage of. 7 days is not enough to try a pair of sunglasses you dont use everyday.
It doesnt get any better than Optical World. There is a reason they have been so successful over the years -- top notch service, incredible selection and genuine, intelligent people to assist you in store! I personally have shopped at more than one of their locations and have ALWAYS had an A+ experience. I highly recommend Optical World to anyone I know and have been proud to send friends and family in over the years. As a matter of fact....I think it is time to visit again and buy a new pair of Fall specs! If I could give 10 stars I would....
I have been using Optical World for 26 years and my loyalty should speak for how pleased I have been with the experience. Only once in all those years did I deal with a subpar employee and he did not last long. Appointments are easy to make and doctor is always on time, friendly and answers all questions. Highly recommend.

Don’t bother making an appointment in the evening they Not honor it I wasted my time Driving all the way over to their store and then was told they don’t see it online. Big waste of time and I’m usually someone who Spends money annually on eye-ware oh well there loss just wish they would not have wasted my time why make appointments available if you can’t honor them.
I have used glasses since i was 13 and have gone to several optical. Rosa is by far the BEST! If you need eyeglasses you have to stop by Optical World and ask for Rosa.
My husband and I have been going to this store for over 10 years. We have purchased at least 20 designer frames I.E, Cartier, Tag Heuer, Maui Jim, Chanel just to name a few and prescription lens as well for these framed from the location in the Dadeland store. Customer Service and quality of this store is exceptional. We wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else for our glasses.

Scammers.I went because they’re in my insurance network. I had been there years ago and liked their selection even though its often over priced.So I show up end of the year to treat myself to new glasses. A girl w long hair and glasses “helped” me out. She went online to explain the terms of my policy. I have an allowance + discount per year. I was misinformed and told it renewed “calendar year” and not “year from purchase.” In short I was persuaded to use my discount before the year was up because I thought it would go to waste. So I rushed and bought a frame w/the old prescription (no appts avbl to update the lenses until after new year)* You cant buy frames w/out the lenses includedI went back weeks later thinking I could update the prescription because my discount had renewed. I sure was wrong.I explained to the mgr how Id been misinformed and basically I got “Too bad, talk to your insurance.”I thought ok I’ll at least update my lenses except the estimate was nearly $400. Not progressive/bifocal/xray just normal lenses.No need to to back there again especially after getting duped like that.I suggest going to Bascom Palmer (UM) or ChrycyMuch better selection and pricing.* Reply to their post *If I made this post 8 minutes or 8yrs later it doesnt change what happened or how the mgr reacted. You showed no interest in helping before but the attempt to discredit me shows where your company is at with customer support. You know who the employee is. Nobody remembers because the only person aware was the mgr on duty and theres no need to make a scene.***** EDIT 8/12/19 *****I passed by on Saturday August 10 2019 around 6-7 PMI saw a girl working with long hair and wait for it...glasses.I dont need to describe what she was wearing but you really lied about an employee instead of owning up to what happened. Really bad experience I pay for a pair of Cartier glasses $945.00 on October, first the glass they used the first time was really cheap, they broke new like a month after a bought them, like a month ago they just went loose and their excuse they are frameless and that make the glasses fragile, even though they Kept the glasses for 15 days, after that time one of the managers called me, and told me to pick them up, they changed the screws for the ones that come with them and washed their hands, very disappointing because of the money that I spent on the Cartier Glasses, the worst glasses that I have bought in my life, I would never go back to that place, I spent almost $1700.0 en two pairs of glasses and I felt treated for the manager the worst, it looks to me that he felt that he owns these optic, and what he does is damage the place, a manager is to work out with the client especially in a situación like this, shame on him, and I hope someone above him reads this review and take care of him, I told him about my review and I don’t think 🤔 he cared about it, so please be careful to buy glasses in an Optic world at Dadeland mall, for me the worst experience after the amount of money that I spend. I forgot to said that the Cartier Glasses are still under guarantee it expires till October 2019I won’t answer, you as an owner should review more careful your employees, the day I went to have my glasses fixed I was told that they didn’t have technician at the moment, but anyway is a bad optic and I felt that it is the worst buy I had done ever. Went for new glasses and even after being a 5 year (ex) customer, they didnt even care about attending me. After 30 minutes of waiting and asking for help, they didnt care. I left and ended requesting new glasses in a different place in the mall.
