An okay experience although there was a big miscommunication. Hard contact lenses are not measured there (now it’s obvious to me lol), they make them there but you need to have the measurements done by a specialist.Frames and lenses are overly priced for those without insurance. Didn’t feel right to spend $600 on 2 pairs of glasses when I can go to goggles4u.com and order 8 pairs of glasses for that price.

Beyond agitated, I did my eye exam in SEPTEMBER and they promised to ship within two weeks. It is now November and after calling several times Ive been told excuses and false information, such as the glasses were already picked up, meanwhile I am out of state, and that they are being shipped its been nearly two months and after dealing with this for so long I have called an asked for an immediate refund. Irresponsible, uncooperative, and unhelpful. Waste of time, money, and energy.
This is a big store with a huge selection of eye glasses. I had an exceptional experience, I was treated with such care by Gema and by Amanda, they are awesome, both made sure I could see perfectly and helped me find the best fitting glass. I was also highly impressed and pleased by the stores cleanliness and they followed all COVID-19 guidelines for cleaning, they cleaned all the glasses I tried. I would recommend without hesitant, this is my new annual stop.
Worst place ever. Broke my original expensive Ray Ban frames, dont carry them and cant replace them or special order them, which any big company can do. Took wrong measurements for lenses. Eye test technician rude and maskless. Priscilla, the store manager/sales associate, was extremely rude and unprofessional. All she would say is have a nice day to my complaint. Took 4 weeks to make simple glasses. Avoid at all costs, horrible experience.

The ladies working there are extremely friendly and accommodating. Together, we found the perfect eye glasses for me, as both Tamara and Gema helped me pick the ones I bought out. I can be very shy at times and these ladies made it easy to shop and find what I needed. This is a great location!
I stopped in for a quote and clear prices BEFORE I scheduled an exam. The lady there explained the price breakdown to me and even showed me the glasses that were included in the promotion. I called a week later to schedule a Saturday appointment. On Saturday 10 in the morning was seen within 10 minutes. The eye exam was performed via a zoom like program and Im assuming the doctor was controlling the machine through her computer.Once it was time for me to go pick my glasses the lady that attended me was very nice and professional and patient she answered my questions even suggested different styles and or options that would fit my budget. I have no insurance and she made me feel secure in my purchase. I am hoping that my glasses are coming soon but so far the experience has been great! It is a little bit farther from my house & not the closest location but due to the fact that they took time to explain everything to me BEFORE I went for my actual appointment caused me to drive a little bit further just to go back.AGAIN, hopefully glasses come in soon & last (got the warranty for both pairs )... its only been a day... So I have to wait...

A terrible experience! First, they NEVER mentioned my 83 year old mother couldn’t do the digital exam, so they made her appointment anyway. We got there and learned this and had to leave. NO ONE CARED. The parking is also a nightmare. Stay away from this place!!

We showed up for the 2/$59 special. First, an inadequate selection of only 7-8 styles to choose from for men/women. Second, we had to make two trips as the two pairs were sent separately for pickup. Lastly, the reading prescription glasses were terribly out of focus.
Priscilla was very helpful in getting me the right glasses, with the options I needed and even got my contact prescription updated without the need for a retest saving me from having to come back a week later! Definitely an over achiever for the customers experience!
I wish i could give it 0 stars... no costumer attention whatsoever. They always have only one person helping everybody so a quick trip will be 1 hr at least guaranteed dont even waste you time coming here.

Dont bother the eye examination equipment wasnt cleaned after a previous patient nasty and grimy, ordered 2 pairs off readers got 2 pairs of god knows what couldnt see a thing went back they ordered 2 pairs off readers a month later went to pickup and i got 1 pair readers and 1 pair off god knows what cause i cant see with them. Save your $$$ go to a reputable place or even Wal-Mart this place is a joke! Dont waste your time and money...Owner responded quickly to my revue. he should be @ store and make sure customers are treated correctly not playing down revues.
Oh my goodness. DO NOT FALL for their promos. 1st they tell you that youll be in & out in 20-30 min & when I went I was waiting almost 2 hrs before I could leave. They are EXTREMELY short on help AND their customer service is terrible. I called after to try to change my order & they said theyd call me that night & never did & then I called everyday 2x a day for the following 4 days & got everyones name I was dealing with AND they still never helped or called back & when I asked to speak to a manager they said she wasnt available & they couldnt try again AND then I asked for the managers name & they said theyre not allowed to give that info out. Now a week after my eye exam still ZERO call back, LARGE hold times, many attempts to reach by me AND STILL NOTHING. So I would still to a For Eyes or somewhere else thats not so gimmicky as here they promise buy 1 and get 1 for $99 & almost NONE of the pairs cost that much PLUS its misleading as the lens are a few hundred - so truly nothing special about the prices in the end AND terrible service - therefore NOT worth coming here & thinking youre saving - as you will not plus youll get terrible service
Worst customer service ever. Will never go back. Ordered 4 pair glasses on Dec. 10. They were supposed to be mailed. Only two showed up. Called 4 times. Always apologize and promise to resolve and call back. They never do.STAY AWAY!!!

The worst of the worst, the only pro is the cost cheap but of course you get what you pay for glasses I can’t even use!! First of all the eye exam is with a Dr by video who changes the slides extremely fast and doesn’t let your eyes even adjust. I order two glasses the second I put one on I can tell something was off. I went in for a second exam with an actual Dr in the room she confirmed I needed a different prescription on one eye great so they redid the glasses 2 months later they are ready and I still feel that there is something off about them because I feel dizzy with them every time I wear them. Mind you I have been wearing glasses for 27 years and I have never felt dizzy while wearing glasses. I hate to say I rather waste the $ I paid and not go through the hassle of going back for another exam. I don’t use the glasses I purchased here, I keep using my old glasses that don’t make me dizzy.

I am a first time customer of this establishment after a friend encouraged me to try them. I was pleasantly surprised by the staff who greeted me and provided impeccable service. Once I received my new eyeglasses, I noticed I was not able to read print with them, which is so important because I do a lot of reading personally and professionally. My mistake was declining the progressive lens(Oops!).I returned to the Little Havana store and was greeted with the same great service by everyone. Mr. Ivan was awesome and solved my issue with a new order!Always remember, great customer service is treat the customer with a smile when they purchase, but more importantly, treat the customer with a smile too when they have an issue. What a great service and very clean store. The eye exam uses the latest technology, perfect for thesituationwe have with COVID. The optician Gema, took her time with me, making sure I could see correctly, I was not rushed (which has happened at other optical locations). Amanda was also very helpful and carrying, she explained everything and was ableto find my perfect glasses with all the things I needed. The eye exam machine was cleaned in front of me as well as the glasses I tired, very impressed.

I’m super satisfied with this place. I went recommended by my kids pediatrician once and now it is my go to place. My last visit Gema was the one that took care of me and she was amazing! From my the start before my eye exam until the end. I ordered a new pair of glasses and Changed the lens on my old glasses, the price was decent, Gema was wonderful helping me out to find a good price! I also had to change my daughters glasses that had broken and she resolved it super quick!! I was soo excited!! I thought it would take days to get it done. She took minutes! Thanks Gema!!! 🙂😌
I went to get my prescription and at first I was very satisfied. They only had like 2 people working but even then I was satisfied. They ordered me an extra pair of contact lenses... its been almost 2 weeks and they havent even arrived anywhere. You call the store and it goes to a call center which take 10 minutes to answer the phone just for them to be un helpful. I had to call 5 times before I even got an answer to my question. The customer service is HORRIBLE after you visited so save yourself the hassle of having to call over and over for something you paid for.
Im not in the habit of writing a review, but I had to make an exception for My Eyelab Flagler location.From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with the most warm welcome, and from there on, everyone was just wonderful. However, there was one person who stood out and that was Claudia.I can only describe her in one word:EXTRAORDINARY!!!!! She went out of her way to make sure I was satisfied with the frames she helped me choose. She was not only helpful and efficient, but kind, friendly, and caring. I had the most wonderful experience at My Eyelab earlier with Claudia.When I first walked in she was helping out 3 sets of people at the same time! He timing was incredible. Not only was she super knowledgeable but she knew exactly what I needed. She never tried to “up sell” me and she never came across as pushy.All her customers left with huge smiles. Went to store Saturday 13th 2020. Waited 2 hours to be seen. Had made appointment for contact lenses and Glasses. after the eye test, I asked about the lenses?, service for lenses was stated when I made the appointment. Was told I would have to wait another turn for the contact lenses. Customers were agitated because of the long wait, agents did not provide correct information as to why the long wait. One did say, that even though we had appointments, it was first come first served(Because they are making appointments at same time for multiple customers). Too many customers in the store at once, no 6ft distance between chairs. A customer was just asking about the wait, and was treated in a unprofessional matter. I left without being seen for contact lenses or given a prescription for glasses. Called corporate also, still waiting for office to call me about my vision test. Very disappointed with this stores service to customers. No Stars for me. Be ready for a long wait and a store full unhappy customers. Agents seemed very stressed and yes it is very stressful when you have a store full of customers that you can not attend to.
What a pleasant and welcoming experience I had in the Little Havana brunch compared to the one in 163rd st. North Miami. As soon as you walk in someone gets out of their way to assist your needs, everyone, but specially Diana who just wants you to feel helped and will go beyond to make you feel happy and comfortable . I would drive all the way there just to get her marvellous service . Even though the 163rd st is closer, I would not come back there, I waited and waited to be seen but I only got ignored, thet staff was too busy chatting about their life or in the computer . Not even a hello a…I spent two and half hours there (even though I had an appointment) disorganized and rude.

I marked one star because I have no possibility to select zero.Several person with bad results there told me do not go to this place, but I did. Big mistake...I ordered my glasses and never could use it.Bad measurement of lens in frame. My wife ordered glasses too and had a lot of trouble.She had to wait more than 2 month for it and had trouble too with the measurement, frames and glasses.I had to go another center to get a new glasses. I lost my money. I do not recommend this place. Nobody contact you to help or clarify the situation. Repeat... I do not recommend this place. Do not lose your money there. Any questions can call me.

This is a few wrong tries but finally done very right review :) and all thanks to the current manager, Mr. Ever Cancél, who took full ownership of problem and insured it was all done right for the customer one final time and in full satisfaction.Thank you!Just want to add an observation to keep in mind this centrally located store is one of the busiest branches i have seen and i have been a faithful customer at My Eyelab since 2015.With that comes a high volumen of customers and a staff that is trying its hardest to accommodate all and work steadily fast but errors do show sometimes. Perhaps adding staff to meet the demand at store would be a needed and welcomed improvement.

Extremely unhelpful, bad service, disorganization among other things.1- i did my eye exam on September 18. It was done by a Doctor in a TV by camera . Then I called 2 weeks after because I never got a call from them that they received my Lens.2- when the Lenses came, they didn’t fit, it was another prescription. . Then I have to wait for 2 more weeks, did an Appoiment with the oftamologist in person ( one Thursday ) the only day they have an “actual ophtalmologist “3- they ordered another pair of lenses to retest again .Lenses took 1 month to arrive “because they were supposed to be an special prescription “4- when lenses came, just double prescription for the left eye came . Instead of one for the right one and one for left eye5- I have to order another one again for right eye .6- it took another month to get it . I was able to have my lenses around December 30 .All process started Sept 20 and I was not able to get my lenses until dec 30 .3 Months ( 90 days and 10 days - total 100 days to get my vision problems solved )I will never use this company again

I got some prescription glasses made at this store, warranty everything. Drop the glasses from a table and the frame broke, now I have to pay another $134 que get a new frame. Whats the warranty a discount from the original price. This warranty is a joke, I never go back to this store and dont recommend to anyone to spend $400 + for glasses that have no warranty just a discount. Bad quality frames, no respect for customers money.

Please save your time, money, and health and go somewhere else. If there was an actual audit of this place, it would be shut down because they are so reckless and careless to detail and could actually hurt your health. But first, let me tell you how I got here...When I first saw EyeLab in my neighborhood, I was honestly excited. I thought it would be like Americas Best (which is where Ive gone in the past, this ones just closer) and I love the model because I dont have vision insurance.I made an appointment for me and my partner. I needed to get my contact lens prescription renewed and he wanted to try contact lens for the first time.First of all, my entire eye exam was done through a Skype call (or something like that). I love telemedicine and thought that was cool and a smart business model.The problem is though that after my exam it showed that my prescription had dropped .75 points. For those of you who know eye prescriptions, thats a huge drop in a year. And weird. So I asked the man attending me how it was possible that my eye prescription has gone down so drastically in such a short amount of time. He literally shrugged his shoulders and asked me what number I thought I should be. I went to an eye doctor and they asked ME what prescription I wanted.I honestly should have turned around then, but Im really forgiving. So I was like, well I feel like my number has gone up a bit. So he handed me a pair of contacts that were 0.25 higher than my current prescription and asked me to go walk around with them and see how they felt. I asked if I could have another exam and he said no, the best way to tell is just look at how it feels and how you can see with the new contacts.This kinda felt like a guessing game, but I responded in earnest, tried the contacts on and went for a walk outside to see how they felt.Anyways, I ended up ordering a years prescription worth with this new guesstimated number. Right before I paid them, I asked them again if I could get a other exam. They told me not to worry, that I know best and that the solved my prescription by rejigging it in the system to reflect the prescription I had asked for.I wasnt even planning to leave this review, until my husbands experience which was also reckless and stupid, but now that theres two bad experiences between the two of us, I feel morally obligated to share.He got an eye exam as well, but as I mentioned earlier this was his first pair of contacts, he has never worn them before.They gave him a prescription and he bought six months worth.We waited about 1 month and never heard from them, so we called to see if our contacts werer ready. The lady who answered the phone told my husband that they werent, but told us call back again in a couple more weeks. What? We have to call you?When I finally went to go get my contacts, I tried to pick up my husbands as well. They told me to just take mine because they wanted to teach him how to put his contacts in. Which I thought was nice.So I picked mine up and left his there.When he went to go get them, they told him to go home and practice it on his own.For the last 5-7 days, he has been wearing his new contacts but complaining that didnt feel right or that they were too blurry. The first couple of days, I just thought that this was normal. Contacts are kind of hard to adjust to the first time.Today he called me and told me that after working for hours and having such a hard time seeing his computer, it had to be something wrong. As an experiment he switched the contact lens (put the L on right eye and the R on the left eye) in case they had gotten it wrong. NOW HE CAN SEE. THEY MESSED UP HIS PRESCRIPTION.)Im a fool for putting up with them the whole process, but also this place sucks and you really shouldnt go here. Its completely incompetent.The only saving grace I can say here is that the staff is actually really really nice and I hate to hurt them with this review, but this is health were talking about and NO ONE should be putting that in jeopardy by coming here.

I brought my wife, who has very bad eyesight, in for the $59 eye test + 2 pairs of glasses promotion. It turned out because of her heavy prescription, the whole expense would be $150. Almost triple the promotion.We were surprised, but faintly understood. So we paid half and would pay the other half when it came time to pick up our glasses.We waited 16 days before the manager, Rixter, called to say that they were out of stock with one pair and the other pair he did not have an explanation for, but they also did not have it.When we asked for a refund, he refused to authorize it without us coming into the store.I was admittedly a little furious. After they had bait & switched us and inconvenienced us for more than 2 weeks, Rixter wanted to inconvenience us even more by making us come into the store to get our money back.I am handicapped and I explained that to him. Minus 10 star or even minus 100 star or dont even deserve star. We went to buy glasses because we saw the deal 2 pairs for $59,95 with free eye exam everywhere. I got eye exam and my eye condition is not good so I definitely switch to glasses from contact lends. The Doctor and the staffs were very nice, staffs at glasses was also very nice. So we picked 2 pairs of glasses(the price of both frames I picked is $19), And he said its gonna be $300 or something and we asked why kindly, he said its because the left and right has different prescription. We were very surprise. And he said alright so how about $150 for both lends, and plus the price of eye exam. So we agreed, and purchased.15days later, I got phone call, the guy said hi, the lab broke one of your glasses, and the other frame is not so available, so you have to come store as soon as you can to pick another frame, and you need to wait 2 more weeks . I usually dont upset because things are happen some time thats life. So I asked Do you mind I cancel them because I live little far, and I dont want to drive because I might have accident without glasses. I want to pay just for eye exam, And he started upset said No sweet heart, You must come to store to cancel or refound, We cant do on phone.Im neary 40 years old and I might sound younger but he started talk/upset to me like Im kids. I felt little uncomfortable but I was still not upset, and I was going to say thank you for calling see you soon but he hang up around I said th .I asked my husband to call them because I thought they treats me that way because Im asian. I live in another countries and United States for 12 years, It happens so I understand.And my husband called them and he said the same, and also he hang up on my husband while conversation. Basically he was saying he doesnt know what happened to mt glasses but He doesnt want cancel over the phone because its lots of paperwork.We call customer service, The lady name Luth was very helpful, she said there is no problem to cancel on phone. She took care and she solved issue in 3 minutes. Big thanks to Luth.After that same day, we went to Warby Parker, The staffs said my eyes are not complicated, of course they make glasses the price we advertise $95 includes of course prescription lends and also free shipping. I will receive my glasses in 5 days.Please everyone dont waste your time at My eyelab. It was worst experience Ive never had.
Horrible!!!! The ladies were good, but we spent 2h no people, and I repeat the eye exam 3 times and finally I left with no glasses because the technology never worked!!!
