Incredible store. Wonderful people. Great service. Have used them ever since they opened. My kids even go there when they come from out of town.

Dr. Hernandez is an amazing doctor who takes his time with each patient and explains everything very thoroughly. I have a huge eye phobia, but he is able to keep things calm and cool. As steady as can be! Highly recommend.

Dr are important but two person in his staff are amazingROXANNA and MAURA really addressing any concerns on timely manner, professional and efficient. Dr Hernandez won’t provide excellent without those two employees.My only complaint is that even when most of the Bussiness are already back on regular schedule he still with very short schedule 10-2pm.

Be Aware!!! Don’t go to this optical, they only care about the money. Very tight schedule, expensive and the front desk ladies are rude.I take my daughter there for a yearly exam and because she ran out of contacts. They give her a new brand of contacts that cause her irritation and we can’t go there to get it checked out because of there right schedule she got a pink eye and after that a stye. I paid $259 for the consult and they wanted to charge me more to see her eye. Blaming her, like it wasn’t the contacts. She is has been using contacts for 6 years, and this has never happened before. They didn’t give me a refund, now I have to go to another place and pay again.

Dr. Hernandez is a real pro. He and his staff are knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and good listeners. I’ve been going there for about 5 yrs and hope I always will.

A friend recommended Kendall Optical and Dr. Hernandez. My husband and I both had a visit to check our vision and eye health. They offer hours on Saturday, which is great because I work during the week. They have an amazing diagnostic system, where you look into this machine that looks like Eva from Wall-E and it takes a picture of your entire eyeball with all of the veins and everything to make sure it is healthy. There is another machine that makes an image of the surface of your eye. Then, Dr. Hernandez did an ordinary check up, including looking at text in small sizes on the wall and up close, eye pressure, and dilating the eyes. It took an hour for the whole appointment, and my insurance covered it. I dont need any corrective lenses, and Dr. Hernandez was honest with me about that which I appreciated. My husband needed reading glasses, and Dr. Hernandez gave him several options. He also has a nice selection of frames. I highly recommend Dr. Hernandez and Kendall Optical!

Both my fiancé and I had a great experience at Kendall Optical. For me since it was my first time that I needed to get glasses it was all new and both Dr. Hernandez and the staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable throughout the process. On the other had my fiancé has worn glasses for most of her life. She has been to the eye doctor before and had countless eye exams. With all that experience after our visit she did say to me, “that has to be the most thorough eye exam I have ever had”. That validated to me that Kendall Optical is the place to get your eyes examined. Then you add the large variety of frames for you to choose from and it’s a perfect match.

I live in Key Largo but will drive an hour to see Dr. Hernandez! He is extremely thorough and puts yout through of battery of tests and explains everything When you leave you know that your eyes have been in the best hands possible. The staff is also very friendly. I wont go anywhere else. Neither should you.

Very poor service... I bought a pair of Versace frames. After 1 year & 6months, a metal cylinder fell out from the frames.I brought them back to them and they only offered to call me if the have an extra cylinder. Never offered to ORDER the part. Also, the cleaning cloth that came with the frames never cleaned as clearly as the one thwy used to clean my frames when I brought them back. They didnt offer me the better cloth, I had to ask for it. VERY POOR SERVICE ALL AROUND!!!

Dr Jerome Hernandez is fantastic. Unfortunately the staff has no knowledge of how to correctly bill you or the insurance company. Beware of over charges. Went in today to pick up glasses and the tech scratched them. No call back after I asked to speak to a supervisor or the doctor. Again they can care less . I wont be going back any time soon. Save yourself the aggravation.June 19, 2017 got a call that my glasses where ready after the scratched lense issue. Arrived only to find out that they placed a very thick cheap lense on the right eye that doesnt match the left. I guess I want supposed to notice. They must think that I am an uneducated fool. So the saga continues another two more days they claim. The correct lense is on its way. So why not wait for the correct lense? I paid for expensive custom progressive lenses not a cheap bottle thick lense. Most interestingly is that Dr Hernandez still hasnt shown face in this entire issue. Leaves the room and has the incompetent staff give me attitude. This is almost a game now with the staff at Kendall Optical. How much can we mess up with one client. Please visit Kendall optical you are sure to leave frustrated.

There staff is very friendly

I used to use a lens to see up close and another to see far away. Dr. Hernández prescribed me and made me multifocal contact lenses. Now I see well at all distances even in front of the computer.
