I had a fantastic experience at Eyetrust Vision! I’ve been wearing glasses since I was in 3rd grade, so I’ve been to quite a few different vision centers, and I think it’s safe to say this was one of the best I’ve been to! I was actually just visiting the Miami area and had to ask around because I lost a pair of prescription sunglasses and wanted another pair ASAP. When I walked in, the front desk staff was very nice and looked very professional. To make things even better, my wait time in the waiting room wasn’t very long at all and they offered a couple different options to keep me busy so I didn’t get bored. Once I got back into a room it didn’t take long for the OD to get to me and they were very kind and straightforward! Honestly I enjoyed my experience so much that I also purchased a pair of eyeglasses as well! I would absolutely go back to this vision center if I were in the area and I will be recommending it to anyone I can, considering I have family that lives there! I wish all vision centers knew how to be so timely and professional.

Had a good exam with the doctor. However, they told me I would have my glasses in two days, that Friday. I told them Monday was okay as I was out of town Friday. I am a pilot and rely on glasses for my job, and more importantly for my annual physical. I came here 13 days prior to my physical and was told Id have my glasses Monday, 8 days before my annual pilot physical. When I checked later in the week, Thursday, the glasses were still not done. I was promised my glasses on Friday. They did not arrive. Got them Monday, after cancelling original plans for physical. They were very apologetic, but still, 12 days, not 2 for the glasses.

I’d like to start by saying this is not a fake review as the eye trust vision team seems to put that under every negative post. I came for an 11am appointment and Dr Sara Thompson nor a receptionist was in the office! Another appointment for 11:30 also showed up waiting and no one showed up. We both left annoyed given that we had taken days off from work to come for an appointment. The security guard was no help and on top of wasting a long drive to brickell, I had to pay valet tfor wasting my time. They should be shutdown. I’ve seen several other reviews saying they were left in limbo for an appointment as well. I do not recommend this place. Would give 0 stars if I could. Stay away and save yourself some time and money!

The worst customer service I ever had, I was told one price and time frame, next day had different price it went up almost four times. On top I was told my glasses ei take Teo yo three days now the Doctor said three to four weeks to get my glasses back. And there is not warranty when I will get my glasses. I am very frustrated.

Horrible service, I went in last Monday to get a pair of glasses was told by Thursday it should be done. Some girl Maria always puts me on hold for 10 minutes and has been toying with me and stating the glasses will be ready tomorrow for a week now. She wont give me her boss info and I already payed and feel screwed. All I want is my glasses to see again! FYI, I shouldnt be calling everyday finding out the status of m glasses, also if you promise a 3-4 day service, follow up on your word .Horrible staff.

I had a terrible customer service experience with Eyetrust. I called for information and directions and the receptionist attempted to discourage me from a visit if i did not have an appointment. I asserted i was in the area and needed directions and that i had a few questions. After finding the office the same receptionist was on the phone with another client speaking to them very rude & condescendingly. She never even acknowleged my presence. I left and took my business to Cohens optical at the Dade County mall. They repaired my glasses for Free! Eyetrust wanted $20 to swap out lenses from one frame to another. Shameful of that young girl to be so rude to customers. I will never visit that location again !!!

Miami has a TON of eye doctors and eyeglass shops, and I called at least half of them when I was in town visiting my daughter for a short vacation and my sweetheart little granddaughter decided she was going to wash MeeMees eyeglasses for her by putting them in the dishwasher when her mommy wasnt looking. My plastic framed travel glasses slipped down through the cracks of the machine and ended up on the heating element and that was all she wrote.I guess Miami is just one of those always busy places because every place I called told me that they couldnt get me in for at least a couple of days and honestly none of them acted like they really cared if they got my business or not.Eyetrust was the exception! I called, they answered after just one ring, were very polite and worked me in that afternoon. Everyone was very pleasant from the receptionist to the doctor and they were very resonably priced as far as I am concerned. It had been well over a year since my last eye exam, so they worked that in for me, improved my prescription (time, I swear, is the enemy of your eyes) and then the staff helped me pick out the right pair of glasses in my price range that fit the style I was looking for.If I lived here, this would be my new eye doctor! But even so, since I visit my daughter and her family at least once a year, I am thinking this place might just end up on my agenda everytime I am in town! I walked all the way down there to get a pair of glasses because my main pair broke. I had my backup pair. They said their policy is not to copy glasses. I have had this done at many, many places for decades. It takes less than 60 seconds to read the prescription. They can do whatever they want to sell unnecessary exams but they and their listing should make clear that they do not offer the service that a typical glasses place does

Doctor Chrycy was not only on point, but his glasses fit my face like no other eye professional ive been to. My fiance and I go to Doctor Chrycy every 6 months to make sure our eyes are in the best shape. Ive been to a few other doctors in the area, and nothing compares to this guy. RUDE, INSULTING EXPERIENCEWeds Oct 12, 2016I scheduled an eye check appointment with Eyetrust on Weds Oct 12 6pm with my insurance, Eyemed. But I never made it to the center because I was contacted on the same day by a lady named Maria that they could not accept my insurance. I asked for the reason, and was told “ We don’t work with this type of insurance. We do accept Eyemed, but not this type of insurance.” I was more than confused so asked why. She went “ when I pulled up your insurance, it wasn’t automatically approved. Other patients were automatically approved. We had cases like this before, and we didn’t treat them. We cannot work with this type of insurance.”I went to my employer to ask why and my employer gave a call to Eyemed. Eyemed gave Eyetrust Vision a call while we were on hold, then Eyemed agent told us that Maria said her boss decided not to work with this type of insurance, but her boss not in office and she would discuss with her boss and call Eyemed back the following day.Thu Oct 13, 2016I called Eyetrust vision again to ask if there was any update. Maria answered the call and told me “No. We don’t work with your insurance. No. Your type of insurance can go to Walmart.” I was shocked by the tone she was saying that! But I stayed calm and asked her :”what does it have to do with Walmart?” She repeated what she said in an uglier tone:” No, we don’t take this insurance. You can go to Walmart.” The call ended.I called back Eyemed and a gentleman helped me, tracing the note in the system that they were expecting a call from Eyetrust. So he put me on hold and called Eyetrust. After a while, he came back to the line and told me that “ I wasn’t able to speak with anyone at Eyetrust. A lady kept picking up and putting me back on hold.” He apologized and I agreed to wait longer. He went back after another while and said “Sorry madam, I was still not able to speak to anyone. They kept on putting me on hold.” And he suggested me to write file a complaint then transferred me to the department that handles complaint.I then went back to my HR since I was feeling not only frustrated but also very insulted by Maria’s words from Eyetrust. HR called Eyetrust, the same lady picked up the call and HR asked to speak with a supervisor. HR waited for a while and a lady started speaking, said her name was Maria. HR told the story again to what she recognizes as the same voice as the first Maria, thinking she was speaking to the same lady for 2 days. There was no solution or agreement reached.Is it possible that Eyetrust Vision has an receptionist, a manager and maybe an owner all named Maria?

Very disappointed with this establishment, on the 2nd February i made an appointment through their website to see Dr. Matthew Chrycy at 2pm on the 17th February, i was emailed the appointment confirmation right after making the appointment. i was flying into Miami specifically for this appointment so i booked my ticket to get into Miami on the 16th so ill be there early enough to get to my appointment on the 17th.today i was told that my appointment couldnt be fulfilled on the 17th because theyre booked i would have to come on the 10th or 22nd, i explained that i already booked & paid for my plane ticket just to fly in for this and i only booked my ticket after getting their appointment email confirmation and they still werent able to assist me and only said that i cant come in on my appointment date again. even if the appointment was not available for that time they didnt even try to assist and fit me in for another time on that day or even care to email me and let me know that the appointment isnt possible for that day. its a good thing i called before going.... now i have a useless plane ticket & hotel booking. Great place to get your eyes exams, glasses, and contact lenses. Its located in the Miami area, and their service is top-notch. Compared to other places in this area, they are much more courteous, and very quick with their process. You can get your eyes examed, and have your glasses / contacts on the same day- now THATs service!Miami is a hard area to find decent optricians, this place takes the frustration out of searching around for a relaible pair of prescription sunglasses. They have everything that you need all in one office, no running around or waiting for your frames in the mail- its all handled in the same day, you can walk in, get your eyes examed and walk out with a brand new pair of glasses, sunglasses, or contacts. Great vision store, and I highly recommend it.

I recently traveled to Miami to see my sister and her partner with such bad luck that they lost my suitcase at the airport.Luckily they quickly recovered it but my glasses were broken. Not having more glasses than the contact lenses I was wearing on the trip I had to make some quick.My sister took me where she made them (in Eyetrust Vision of Brickell) and after choosing between endless frames and receiving excellent treatment I got my new glasses.In the end I bought some contact lenses and new glasses. I have to say that the glasses were a bit of a whim but because they treated me so well, they had so many to choose from and mine were there to throw away, that I couldnt resist.The main advantage, apart from an excellent treatment, is the large number of glasses of all kinds that have both sight and sun and friendly and close treatment. A good buy without a doubt.
