I found my dream wedding dress with the help of Gowns Couture! The store has a great selection of gowns and the owner was very friendly and accommodating. After searching many other shops, I found the Morilee dress there that I had seen online. They measured me perfectly so that when my dress arrived, it didn’t need any alterations other than a bustle. Additionally, I needed to expedite the delivery of the dress and they facilitated that for me. On my wedding day I felt amazing in the dress they helped me find, I would highly recommend Gowns Couture!

I gave this business review 2 stars because when I first made an appointment with them back in January. I went there and no one was there. I called several times and left messages. I didnt hear back from anyone for a whole hour and so. Mind you im not from down there so that was a waste of time and gas. Then we finally rescheduled. And i found the dress i fell in love with. I made my deposit. The owner was suppose to order my dress. He then calls to say I wont have my dress till after my wedding. Im like are you serious right now. He said yes but i can give you what we have in the store. I then proceeded to ask him, will there be any discount because thats a used dress? He first informs me no there will not be. I told him I truly think thats unfair and unprofessional due to the fact that I was paying full price for a brand new dress never worn, never tried on. However you want me to purchase a dress at full price that has been worn and tried on. And thats a little filthy, where it look like dirt and back sweat rubbed off on the dress. He says Ill take $100 off and Ill send the dress to the cleaners for it to get properly cleaned. That was our agreement. Then I proceeded to call him to ask him can I come pick up the dress weeks later. He told me he hasnt sent the dress to the cleaners, and it will take the cleaners two weeks to clean the dress. Which was strange because I didnt know that it take that long to clean a dress. Daily proceeded to call me Friday to see if Im able to come pick up the dress its ready. When I go I asked him to take the dress out the bag. I look the dress up and down in and out still the same filthy marks from there was back sweat in the dress looks like someone stepped on the bottom of the dress and then some. He stated he steam the dress himself. However that was not our original agreement and I showed him where the dress was still filthy. I would never go to him again and I advise anyone else that is trying to plan their wedding not to get their wedding dress for him either.
