I went to Bridal Boutique by Barbara looking for a mother of the bride dress. Barbara was terrific, so helpful and giving great input. She pulled a few items for me to try that I would not have chosen myself. Her attitude was fantastic! I was there on Friday, and left without purchasing, but said I wanted to think about it. I went back on Saturday, to purchase a dress and the whole process was easy and smooth. I was very very happy with my experience and so glad that I got to work with Barbara! For sure they not only have a large selection but the best dresses in South Florida.

I am a bit late in providing my review (and it is a bit long), but I would like to recognize what a great boutique this place is, not only because of its gowns, but what really stood out was the customer service we received, which sadly I feel many businesses are lacking in today. This place is nothing but amazing - exceptional customer service by two wonderful and classy women who run the store that carries exquisite and high quality gowns. I was at the boutique back in September 2020. I had an upcoming wedding in one month and I still did not have a dress. Any brides nightmare. I had been trying to find one at several boutiques in my hometown; however, after experiencing very poor customer service, my mom and I decided to take a trip to Miami, which is several hours away from where we live. I had made a few appointments to some bridal shops near Coral Gables. However, after doing a quick google search, Bridal Boutique by Barbara popped up in my search as it was nearby where I was and we decided to stop there first to see before heading to the appointments. When we arrived, we were welcomed by two very special ladies, Barbara and Bibi, who really were fabulous in every way. They really helped me in finding the perfect dress and made my mother and I feel so welcomed. Their kind and warm and upbeat personalities are what made this experience top-notch! The boutique had a great variety of different styles, which helped me quickly decide what I wanted or didnt (as I did not have a certain style in mind). They gave me options and they very kind and patient with me (as I am a very indecisive person). At one point I thought I had found the dress, but had second thoughts and decided not to move forward and told her I wanted to go to my other appointments before making a decision. She was very understanding and said she would be there if I needed to come back. Boy, was she right! I went to only one of my appointments in Coral Gables and the experience was very unpleasant and the gowns were not only ugly but very expensive! I ended up canceling my other appointments and my mom immediately called Barbara and said were coming back but lets look at a few more dresses. In the end, we found the most beautiful gem of a dress, which turned out to be my wedding dress. Barbara was so wonderful in making sure that the dress arrived quickly so we would have enough time to alter the dress if necessary. She gave me tips in what to do in the meantime to ensure I would fit in the dress (as I was between two sizes). Her tip definitely worked because by the time the dress arrived, it fit like a glove! No alterations were needed! The day of my wedding EVERYONE loved the dress! Everyone said they had never seen such a beautiful dress! I think my guests reactions are definitely a testament that the gowns there are not just beautiful, but exquisite. They also not only sell bridal gowns, but dresses for the MOB or if you are part of the wedding party or even guest. The MOB dresses are fabulous, not dresses that are frumpy and make moms look dated. This place is definitely a reflection of these ladies taste and fashion wisdom. They know what looks good and that is what they offer to their clientele. I also found my jewelry and hairpiece there and they had beautiful veils as well. The prices were fantastic as well!! Just cant say enough. You will not regret shopping at Bridal Boutique by Barbara! First class wedding gown dress shop!!!

Highly recommend Bridal Boutique by Barb shop!!! We went there to get my daughter a beautiful red prom dress and left with two pink dresses instead 😆. She had two proms to enjoy this year and being her senior year why not two dresses lol. They were so helpful and kind to make her prom dress beautiful for her. If you want your day to be extra special this is the place. I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for and these ladies go above and beyond that for their customers. Cant say enough thank you kind ladies!!! I will have to update or add to this review when she gets pictures of the 2nd dress and at her senior prom.

Awesome is the only way to describe this store. The store is literally a color explosion - it is way cool to see all the variations in dress styles and colors. The staff is super friendly and helpful which is very impressive in todays retail environment. Yes it cost me a few bucks for a prom dress but my daughter is worth it. No issue with the what so ever in getting the dress.

I am very glad to be able to write a review about this boutique. My daughter bought from them her prom dress this year, and like everybody has not been able to use it, as all proms got canceled. This is not the fault of any body, much less the store. I am sure they also invested money in ordering all these dress as per the request of different girls. If you commit to an order, you have to go by the house rules. In other words, if you buy a car, and later cannot afford it, your car is repossessed, if you buy a house and dont pay the mortgage or dont pay your rent, sooner or later your are going to be foreclosed on or evicted. Ive seen all the reviews lately, which seems to be from the same person and their friends or family members continue making the same over and over review about these people. If you decide you could not afford the dress or simply changed your mind about moving forward since your prom got canceled, tough luck! Move on and get a life! The treatment and service provided by this company was amazing, and the quality of dresses they have is unique. I am sure their clientele is not going to be affected by all this none sense. Thats why I decided to do this review.

My daughter must have gone to 5 stores or more, looking for her sweet sixteen dress, with no luck. Until she got to Bridal Boutique by Barbara who we chose to visit from a friend of mine. We fell in love with 2 dresses. the staff were extremely nice and helpful, and in an hour the dress was ordered in the color and size that my daughter needed. We arrive today after 3 weeks as promised delivery, the dress was perfect, only minor alteration needed. The jewelry was found in the store and all was smooth and easy. In February I decided to look for my prom dress and had a delightful experience in this store. Thanks to Barbara (the owner), and the wonderful employees for making my experience run smoothly and helping me pick a dress that suited my figure. She took one look at me and immediately knew what dress would make my body type look just stunning. the customer service and personalization was awesome. Most unprofessional person ever! First of all she did not want to refund the dress that cost me $400 not $5 when I did not have a prom due to a PANDEMIC. On top of that when I pick up the dress the dress comes damaged according to her there is nothing that can be done and she has the audacity to BLOCK ME. These ladies are great! What a team... My salesperson was Bibi and she was just a doll, genuinely and to the fullest. On my last fitting I got a chance to sit and talk to her for a few minutes while the seamstress (also very nice...) made a final alteration. Bibi really puts a personal touch to the bridal buying experience, and I feel she truly cares about her customers.Wonderful service and high-quality gowns at a reasonable price. I was pleased with the assistance I received and she listened to every comment I made to help guide me towards my best dress! My advice... I went to Barbaras for my senior prom dress and found the perfect dress! Rashel helped me and she was so nice and helpful and made my experience 10x easier and more fun. I had such a wonderful experience at Bridal Boutique by Barbara. Every member of their staff made me feel special each time I was there. I was living in Tampa in the months leading up to my wedding. The staff members were so flexible in regard to scheduling my wedding gown fittings which I truly and greatly appreciated. Bridal Boutique by Barbara should feel ashamed of themselves!!! This boutique has robbed our senior class of their prom dress deposits for their own selfishness!!!! Our seniors WILL NOT have a prom, graduation or any kind of ceremony! My friend put a down payment for her daughter prom dress. When my friends daughter was supposed to go get fitted/altered they were closed because of COVID19. When my friend finally got in touch with the owner she explained to her that her daughters school had canceled prom. If it was possible to please return her deposit since the dress wasnt altered and the dress wasnt specially ordered because she had chosen something off the boutique rack of dresses and the owner said no to just pay off the dress and use it for another occasion. GIVE ALL THOSE PEOPLE MONEY BACK!!!!! You should be ashamed of what your doing at time like this.

Yesterday was one of the best days of my life as I said yes to my dress with the help of Barbara and her amazing staff. They brought out every still of dress so that I can try on and then pick at the end which one I really liked. They were all very kind to us from the moment we stepped in to the moment we left. Wow! What a little hidden treasure this boutique turned out to be. Barbara had such great energy, and was such a sweet heart. She respected my conservative budget and had such a great selection starting at super low prices. Experience is everything, and it was amazing. I went to a store in the Gables, and the service and selection in this boutique exceeded that large store. She had a massive mirror and stage, a comfy couch for my maid of honor to sit between dresses, and an adorable “she said yes” sign for pictures afterward. She was very knowledgable and was a true pleasure to do business with. She listened to everything I wanted and tried to make it all happen for me! Can’t wait to go back!

These people did not give the senior class this year refunds for their prom dresses even though they are not having prom. And not only that but a friend of mine spoke out about it on Instagram and tagged the boutique about it and the owner of whoever runs the account blocked her. how disrespectful and immature. These girls have been looking forward to prom for half of their live and thaf got cancelled the least the boutique can do is give them their refund. Do not recommend this place at all, they are only in it for the money and have no sense of customer service at all. Do not come here if you are looking forward to speaking to reasonable people, these people are most definitely the opposite.

Extremely unprofessional & disgustingly wicked. Withheld $200 deposit from multiple people despite prom being canceled due to a world wide epidemic. People are unemployed and have bills to pay and all she cares about it pocketing money and making profit during this difficult time. Blocked everyone on her Instagram page that commented negatively about her “worldwide policy” even though she only has one store. Not to mention she left the clients that asked for refunds on their deposit on read.

I have never experienced such kindness, gentleness, tenderness... in my life. This women made my Prom dream come true by providing me the best attention; I was going through a horrible time and couldn’t afford the dress I wanted, Barbara was so touched by my story that she decided to give me the dress for FREE, one of her old employees called Jenny did my HAIR AND MAKEUP FOR FREE, Barbara gave me free shoes as well and I looked like an absolute princess.The reviews on her get me very upset because people judge a book by its cover not knowing that this beautiful woman is nothing but a soft-hearted, loving, glamorous and extremely talented person. Till this day I will forever thank her for what she did for me!

In addition to showing me styles I thought I liked going in, she used her expert eye, and chose a dress that I never would have thought of for myself and absolutely knocked it out of the park. Its truly a work of art. Every step of the way she made me feel incredible - she has the best energy and truly cares for her brides. If you need a dress, this should be your first and only stop. This is the worst place to go find a prom dress. I walked in and immediately the lady was fixing a dress on a manequin and was blocking the entrance. She just starred at us and gave attitude. The dresses were extremely overpriced. I went to another store the next day and a dress they had at this store and the price was 750 was in another store the same brand for 300. A worker was on top of me the whole time and did not let me look at dresses in peace. She was also extremely rude. When I was trying on dresses a lady that worked there basically called me fat!!! How do you expect to sell dresses like that? It was absolutely ridiculous. My experience was horrible. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

I apparently came at a busier time. I was looking for bridal dresses and had to wait about 30 minutes past my appointment. No a big deal though, the ladies were very sweet and they do have a ton of dresses. Although compared to other places i’ve been to, this bridal shop doesn’t have much modern dresses.

If I could give a zero I would. Shame on you for taking advantage of all the parents who made deposits for their kids. They never got to graduate nor a prom and you wont give their money back. Your service was not rendered! That makes you a thief.

We paid $ 500 for a dirty dress, without a tag that of course had been used and returned by someone when we complained to the owner, Mrs. Barbara told us with a very bad attitude; If you want it, they take it if they dont leave it, a horrible experience.
