Its located within the campus is terrible especially for handicap and disabled people. They really need to consider relocating it closer to the main entrance.

They never answer the phone and I have called multiple times to discuss an expensive book return, I am convinced no one is at the store ever.

They cancel my order without letting me know why my order was canceled

Nice, slow,disorganized,and inefficient.

The campus parkings are all closed. I went to drop off my sister for her CLEP exam and we couldnt even park and wait for her in the car. Im confused how closing all parking will stop the virus

For all your scholarly needs. Cozy bookstore, very clean. The staff is very nice and knows what they are talking about. Its always best to purchase your textbooks before peak season so youre not caught in a long line.

The place I think of when I think of books. The smell of a comfy bookstore is amazing alone, but the wide variety, friendly service and guidance, and sales are something to behold. They sell and trade in used books, and have wonderful organization that makes sense. Stephanie and Lou were extra helpful! Cant recommend this place enough.

The place is clean and all, just theres no communication between the employees. If you order a book online be prepared to wait a bit for it. Rush hour in the store has an hour wait in line so prepare yourself mentally for that. Its a nice bookstore, just has its quirks.

I bought a book (used) almost a week ago. I really needed it for my class. I was waiting for the confirmation to picked it up and nothing. I called them, no one answered. I sent email and it was forwarded to someone else and nothing. I went to the store and after 40 minutes I was told that the book was not there and luckily would arrive between Monday and Friday.Employees are polite but couldnt solve my problem. Will end up with two books (the used one whenever arrives and the new one that I had to buy to get into class).Bought it there because I though that I was going to be faster than ebay or Amazon. Dont buying books at this store again.

They instructed me to get the wrong book now I’m here to return it during operation hours which they have Mon-Friday 10am-4Pm. It is 2pm and they are closed early smh

Its cheaper and More convenient to order from Amazon. I waited in line for two hours to pay for the book which they had to order. They called me to say they had the book a week later so I waited in line for two more hours only for them to tell me that they couldnt find the book. Then another week went by and I had to wait another two hours to get the book, meanwhile I havent been able to study for the exam without the book.Theese people need to get organized.I will never buy a textbook from this bookstore again. Its embarrassing to have such incompetent people in charge of the bookstore.

The place is clean. During the begin of a semester, youre going to deal with having to hand over your bags to the employees so you dont still expensive books...I wouldnt blame anyone. To shop here you have to be on top of what I times you want. Also, if you dont like waiting in line find out what times are least crowded. Its all in your hands.

Went twice to rent my books, I travel 30 minutes commute. Reason as my class is out of their operation hours, they said there was an error on the collateral payment couldn’t process it! Twice!?? After an hour waiting!!! Horrible service. They don’t know what they are doing. The Hialeah bookstore manager supposedly fix the issue and they (North) still didn’t know How to handle! Here I am waiting for my books with no money! As my financial aid hasn’t kicked in! Thank you for noting !

This place is horribly mismanaged. I was a this location trying to get books for my daughter. We were waiting in line for almost an hour an a half. The employees handling the book vouchers looked robotic and preoccupied. Several other employees were behind the register talking and joking around with the cashiers. I asked for the manager and was told her name was Cecelia but no one could find her for us. Disgraceful. Staff needs to work on their communication as well as their customer service skills. In the future, I will definitely try to find my daughters books and supplies elsewhere.1/14/19 UPDATE-I had to return to this bookstore once again for my daughters books for her new semester and must say I was dreading the experience. However, this time, I was pleasantly surprised at the service we received from a young lady named Stephanie who was friendly and extremely helpful. In the interest of fairness, I have to compliment this employee for going above and beyond to help us. Thanks Stephanie! I wanted to tell her manager how professional and helpful Stephanie was but we were still unable to locate her.

Wow! They opened a NEW cafeteria this year. Amazing cafeteria. I love this campus for so many reasons, just got better.

I rather spend my money on Ebay than this bookstore. They say you can rent your books or sell them, and in reality, you cannot. I purchased several books and was told by the supervisor at the time that I can Rent or Sell the books after my class ends. I passed my class (didnt even need the books) and proceed to the MDC Bookstore, where an employee immediately told me that I cannot rent or sell the books at all.What kind of bull is that?!?!He didnt even bother trying to explain the reason, which I can only presume the lack of training from him.I will be returning to speak to your supervisor about this, and if they also have this type of attitude, then you can kiss your job(s) goodbye!I will NOT return to this place.

They closed at 12pm on a Saturday when the hours clearly state they’re open until 2pm. The people that work there have no regard for others and just close when they feel like it. Just plain wrong.

A representative was readily available to assist me in finding my book quickly, and the wait in was not as long as before. I was most thankful for that The overall service from the bag handler to the cashier surpassed my expectations. Thank you MDC

Theres such awesome alumni clothing a d gear as well as supplies and books you can rent/borrow so to speak. Nowadays I just go there to get the cozy sweaters with the big logo, my sweaters are lifesavers lol.

Employees are very friendly and nice. It is always cold I go in there; this is like a no no for me. The shelves are well organized. Its a very nice place

This is the WORST College bookstore in the world! I called because I had a question about an Access code I purchased and they put me on hold... I got in my car, drove 40 miles to the North campus and I was still on hold. I got there and still had to wait 30 mins. for some one to help me. They were suppose to email me a new Access code because I could not wait there for them to resolve my issue. Its been 3 hours now and I have not got my new Access code yet 😠

Its great, many things to offer for any and all college students. Does get a bit crowded the first week of a semester but that is as expected.

The book they rented out to me was in terrible condition when I got it and when I tried to return it they didnt want to accept it because they said it was in bad condition and I woud have to pay the difference. They didnt even try to be helpful.

Never went but Google asked me to rate it..Seems nice maybe Ill check it out sometime

Great deals on computers great deals at MDC book store.

I waited about 40 minutes for them to tell me my order wasnt in. They need better system than having the student aid clerks which take 30 mins to process 1 students books be the same clerks to check for online prepaid orders. Those customs are looking for promptness....there was plenty of workers and front chasiers available who couldnt help.

For a big campus its not enough direccion and you can see your self getting lost.

The bookstore itself is nice, the staff is nice and helpful but the books and other items are so expensive!!!
