I went to that FIU Recharge for so many years. Always paid for everything. Earlier today, I bought Caramel M&Ms when they werent in shelves for a while. I paid at the register, the cashier thanked me and I left. As I walk out, another employee asked me if I paid for the M&Ms. I said yes. I walked back over there and asked the cashier who ringed me up, and he said I paid for them.I couldnt believe they thought I stole the M&Ms even when I paid for them. I will never go back here. I dont care if theyre the only place at FIU that carries caramel M&Ms. Ill buy them somewhere else where they wont accuse theft at people who purchased products.

Loved the Cafe staff but one of the baristas did not wear a mask the whole time I was tended. Im trying not to get Covid and Id definitely hate to get it where cleanliness is a requirement.

I kind of wish they had a larger and wider selection of books like a regular Barnes & Nobles. A lot of FIU apparel, souvenirs, and other branded items. But overall, very clean store.

I go here primarily for the cafe; great food at a reasonable price, and some of the shortest lines on campus

Fantastic book store that caters to the FIU student. I have had to run there on short notice to buy small things like calculator and pens and no issues.They just remodeled for the textbook area and where all the FIU apparel is. Looks very sleek.Great deals on books for my kids. Love visiting here.

Ok, so if you order online fiu clothes and you want to return it, on their site they dont have easy returns info. Basically you have to call to find out how to return the clothes. They just tell you write the order info down and include it in the box and you have to get a label paid for and ship it back to their address. Good info to know.

I ordered my book for the up- coming Fall semester. I was already anxious because I orded the book on Friday. My class is scheduled to start on Monday. To my surprise the book arrived Satutday morning how impressive. There were also no shipping charges. Thank you, Barnes & Noble!

Best customer service and fast .

I ordered my books and they were shipped right away. I called to check on hours of operation and got a different answer than those on the site. I ordered two shirts and it took over a week for them to tell me one was on back order. I got charged full price for an item instead of the sale price advertised.

I love this store. Amazing selection of used books. A haven for any sci-fi/fantasy geek. Extremely organized, friendly staff. My only complaint is that they dont have much of a graphic novel section but other than that, this place is rockin the universe :)

Probably one of the best campus bookstores. I really like the smell of coffee on the second floor. I just love that I have a bookstore like Barnes and Noble at walking distance from my classes.

Friendliest place youll find, fellow sci-fi and fantasy nerds! I asked the owner about a certain series I had been reading (the Deverry series by Katherine Kerr, a fellow Miami, and helluva writer) and the next thing I knew, all 13 books were on hand at the store and ready for me to pick up. In fact, I need to go back---I think shes completed another one!Go see em, and their bald cat, Ripley, too.

I called to see if they had a book that I was interested in getting and no answer.i went there in person found the book and was told they dont price match to their own website.i called over the manager and was waiting for over 10 mins and left.very poor service.i end up getting the book @ Wal-Mart for $12 cheaper.i would say that worked out in my favor.

Very impressive Barnes and Nobles in a university setting things are neat organized and mostly in stock cafe area upstairs is a great place to get work done or snooze between classes. Advice: Avoid the crazy first two weeks of school rush for textbooks.

Book rental return process was entirely too difficult. Charged me for unreturned textbooks while in transit (and sent out before due date). I am online student across the country, so of course it is going to take time to get the rental there (using their return label). Called about the charge, was told to call back when book received. Called back when UPS showed delivered. Could not find my package, even thought UPS said it was delivered. Then, without hesitation, they said a refund had been issued and would take a week to process, which is dumb because they were holding $400 of my money. Stupid store with useless employees who could not care one ounce.

While they offer all sorts of unique little goodies that arent offered at other Barnes & Nobles,they sell college text books at ridiculous prices due to their outrageous mark ups.Do your wallet a favor and buy the books from the manufacturer or a second-hand online retailer like Amazon.

Been at FIU for a while now.. AND Im stilling waiting on the day they buy back my text books after I buy them from the bookstore. Every semester its the same thing over and over new edition coming out we arent buying this one back --- its a science text how much has the information changed to warrant you bring a new edition to the university every semester. Waste of money. Never buying from you guy again. Worst experience as a student.! Are you people aware that you are dealing with students where am I to get money to buy new textbooks at full price every semester!

Overpriced. Doesnt have a good selection of books. Staff is friendly, but sometimes some of the floor staff seem to be having personal conversations. I prefer the regular Barnes and Noble stores.

Fast service

Books here are 2 to 3 times the cost of textbooks available online (including rental prices). Its a little sad that they would only give book advances that can be used here and then price gouge students.

Its really a great place to hang out and eat, i dont recommend studying here, it gets very loud during the day
