Beware of this guy. Took him boat on Wednesday June 3rd due to a starter problem. He had quoted me $140 over the phone and I fully described the type of setup I had. After I left the boat he told me that the work would be $400 because he was confused on model of engine and it required more work... understandable I suppose. Made me take the boat back saying he needed to order gaskets to remove the exhaust and that the gaskets would be ready by Friday or Saturday. I called him the following week and he said couldn’t do it because he messed up and ordered 1 of 2 gaskets needed. Mistake #2. He gave me another day to bring in boat a few days later. I called him the day before and he told me he still couldn’t do the job. He gave me 2-3 other dates in which he kept on canceling and postponing over excuses. On Wednesday June 24 I texted him to see if I can take the boat the next day and he said ok. I arrive in the morning and he is upset because he thought it was going to be for Friday instead of Thursday and by his words he doesn’t keep track of the calendar and was confused over when “tomorrow” was! This guy has zero respect for his customers! He kept changing the date on me for over 3 weeks. His response when i became upset over this was that he was doing me a favor by putting my boat in ahead of others. Last time I checked a favor does not cost $400 and I do not ask for favors but instead expect to be treated with respect and honesty.On top of that he removes the exhaust and then tells me I have to take the boat back because the bolts are rusted and he would need to remove the entire engine to do the work. At this point I didn’t even ask for a quote because I was done with this guy. Nonetheless, he proceeded to charge me $363 for the labor and gaskets although he did not resolve my starter problem at all.I hate to do this because I also own a business but disrespectful and unprofessional people people like this should not be in business. I hope this is sufficient warning for future potential customers of his.

Horrible! Had my full confidence but eventually realized he would quote and then raise the dollar amount. My last experience was in excess of $387.00 without prior authorization from me. upon objecting, he would not release the boat. Stay away from this guy. He lost a customer today!
