I really like this place. Very friendly vibe, especially behind the bar, couldnt ask for nicer people. Music soft enough that you can talk to people without shouting. Amazing variety of beer. Funky stuff like Cookies & Creme Popcorn as bar stuff. I hope they never change, its a winning recipe.

Cool little spot. Really comparing this to Union I’d say I prefer Union. While Union feels like a bar with to go beer, this feels more like a beer store with some drafts available on site. Decent options, but not as good as Union. Craft beer by and large also seems to be pretty expensive in Miami

Awesome brewery. Its a sweet spot that you should check out for some cold and crisp beer. Narrow and rustic lay out with a yard in the back with pick nick tables. Had a couple beers and I enjoyed my evening. Nice job!

Low-key place to hang and nice selection of beers on tap. Nice mix of bottles to go as well. Plenty of paid parking on the streets and a few nearby lots. Lots of stuff to do within walking distance.

Chill craft beer bar with a great rotating selection. A quick walk North from the main Wynwood strip. They keep adding nice improvements as time goes on. From originally having their beer list on butcher paper on the wall to flat screens with the rotating selection.

Arrived on Monday April 8th at 11pm to find the front door locked but the bartender inside still pouring beers for a group sitting on the back patio. The engraving on the door, google maps and the website all say it closes at midnight. We walked around the back to find the bartender smoking cigarettes and drinking beer on the patio. He told us it closed at 11pm. Please update either your hours or remind your employees what the opening hours are.

Nice place, and the beer is very good taste

Decent but very expensive for the beer and quality. I’ve heard rave reviews for the selection. The beer on site is decent. The to-go cans and bottles, I felt, were fairly limited. Better than most else in the area but nothing crazy.

Great, great place! Considering the location, Wynwood, this little hidden spot is where the real chill is practiced. Came here on a Friday for a couple beers and absolutely loved the variety along with my selection. I had the Mother Puncher, Belgian IPA with a hint of Passion fruit. It had a bright, crisp taste to it... one of my new faves. My boyfriend had the Kentucky Fried Chiquen- kind of robust, reminded me of having a BBQ. a friend of ours had the Neon, another bright beer. They have plenty of selections so Im sure you will find the perfect one for you. They can also help recommend the right one for your taste. OMG, and the POPCORN! I was so tempted to get all of the flavors but I settled on the Truffle, Black Pepper, garlic Parmesan - it was so delicioussss. Definitely a must if you come here. Have some beer and popcorn and hang out to some great music in a local/industrial feel environment. I really loved the interior of this spot, the Edison bulbs, bricks, and warm feel. Loved it, will go back very soon!

This place is a lifesaver. I usually come here to pick up last minute groceries for that spontaneous baking night or fish stew (I dont think they carry fish but you can get your canned tomatoes, tomato paste, fresh herbs, etc). they have a great selection of basics as well as Italian beans that I dont find elsewhere. Great tasting produce as well. The staff is super friends and the checkout experience is usually quick.

Miamis original and best craft beer bottle shop, bar none (pun intended)

This is one of my favorite bars in Miami. They usually have a great selection of beers on draft and to buy and take home for later. Ive been going there since they opened. The owners are really cool. I use to like it better when they were the ones behind the bar all the time, but it is still a great spot for beer.

My absolute favorite bar in wynwood. This bar is very atypical for wynwood. Super chill. Great beer selection. They have quarter barrels that they change out throughout the day as they run out of them. Come here, get some popcorn. Enjoy some amazing beers.

Great atmosphere. I stopped by to get some bottles back from Miami. Not a huge selection. I was looking for Florida-specific beers which they had but not many. Still, plenty of Jester King, American Solera, Cascade, and other amazing beers. I still dont know where to go in Miami to get some good local beers.

One of my favorite Wynwood places. The dim lighting and extensive beer selection invites you to stay here for a while. The addition of El Bagel was clever and unique, but they also make their own quality snacks.

New, cool place to really experience a great selection of local, national, and worldwide beers on tap and bottled. They also have a wide variety of wines available as well. Menu rotates every day or so. Bar area is large and has televisions view-able from any seat, combined with a very knowledgeable staff. Close proximity to other Wynwood hot spots and great hours make this a great place to visit.

Fantastic atmosphere and venue with convenient parking (in the lot you pass if you come from South East). Pricing is reasonable as well. One of those places that leaves you wanting to go back and become a regular.

Visiting from Canada Monday April 8th, and came the night before we fly back. Arrived at this place at 11:05pm (closing time at 12am apparently) and noticed the sign inside and door locked. We tried to see if there was an entrance at the back because there were a group of people smoking and drinking beers, and asked the staff member if we could come in. He said no because they close at 11pm, when the website and sign on the window clearly states closes at 12pm. Very disappointed. Please update your hours if your employee was correct.

I thought this place was an actual brewery but lo behold it is just a beer store with alot of taps. Regardless, the ambience is cool. Strong selections of beer from across the nation. Great selection of craft beers and the place is great. Customer service is very poor though. Bearded tattooed guy is just rude and would get defensive when told anything about beers tasting one way or the other.

Came here before a Yelp dinner event. Ive heard of Box Elder before but I thought it was located near the busy strip of 2nd Ave. This modest size brewery is right next to Palmar where we had dinner.Barstools are the only seating offered here and theres a very long bar. They offer over 20 drafts from light ales to port plus red and white wines. I think I got 22nd Anni-Matter from Stone Brewing. Its a double IPA and I really loved it. Plus its 9.1% so one was enough :) You can also purchase unique bottled brews from the retail display. The bartender is very friendly and knowledgeable so dont be afraid to ask questions. Drafts are from $7-$13. Several growlers start at only $14.This is a cool place to chill and unwind. Will need to come back and try other interesting drafts.

A bit of Manhattan meets Wynwood here at Box Elder, where the owner greets you with a smile at his bar counter with genuine hospitality. They arent a brewery, can you say over saturated here? Its a beautifully designed tap room featuring rotating local crafts like Guayabera from Cigar City and Maple Bacon Coffee from Funky Buddha. You can also grab a carrier and select your own bottled varieties of beer. Theres a back patio if you like al fresco drinking. Overall, a hidden gem with cool beers, cool vibes and cool people.

I love this place! One of the best small but very clean and well taken care of bars in Wynwood. Theres always a food truck in the back, they have their own selection of bar snacks (the bacon jerky is out of hand), reasonable prices for their amazing selection of beers, and their are not many places in the city that also have other beer selections for sale to take home. The music probably my favorite thing about this place as its one of the few bars in Wynwood that plays classic rock. The staff are very friendly and helpful too if you cant pick what you want to drink.

Love this place. Chill vibe. I go for the Kombucha which Ive been drinking (all different brands) for years, but this place recently served me up the best Ive ever had! A divine elixir called Citra dry hopped Kombucha from a local brewery called Non Prophet. Cant wait to come back soon for more!

Avoid this place at all costs - and if you must go, make sure not to use a credit card! I went here with some friends on Art Basel weekend. I charged my bill to a debit card and signed my receipt while keeping a copy for myself as I always do. When I logged into my bank account a couple days later, I saw that they charged me 25% MORE than the total amount (with tip) that I had signed for on the receipt! Now I am having to deal with my bank to get the money back that Boxelders employees stole from me.THIS PLACE IS FULL OF CROOKS AND WILL TRY TO STEAL YOUR MONEY!! STAY AWAY!!!
