I give orders city furniture I pay already, they said tomorrow is coming, l call again they said We bought the sofa set. We waited for 1 month, they said it will come today. did not come. They said it will come tomorrow. now they have pushed the date back 1 month later. Disgrace, lies, everything. dont buy anything. City furniture liar

I bought 2 white leather sofa the service was great . But the City Furniture offered warranty service of course this is not free.... I thought that this is a good idea!!!!The problem started with the leather sofas very quickly and I wanted to use my warranty service... I payed the full amount on sofas and after 1.5 year still I dont get nothing service from warranty company!!!I try to call Them about 2 hr phone hold...They are promising everything... and nothing happening...Nobody called me Nobody come to fix the problem...Well the City Furniture offers a warranty company and they are never available...Im very disappointed....
My experience at City Furniture Midtown was nothing short of perfection. Daniel Bolivar my sales rep recently helped me completely furnish my condo in Miami Beach. His communications and customer service was second to none! The delivery team that delivered twice to me was absolutely amazing. The worst managed company that I have encountered. Specifically told them about my time restraints from the designer to the sales representative.I was promised delivery on Monday-and they cancelled.Promised delivery on Tuesday and they canceled, and now they have no idea when they can deliver.I had to come up with money to reserve the elevator 2 times, flew down here under the promise that they could handle this.The only thing that they did well so far is take my money.I can’t believe that they do this for a living and they can mess it up so bad.
The products themselves are good and store staff is helpful. However, as an organization, City Furniture is very disorganized and there’s TERRIBLE communication (lack of communication in fact) with the customer. Delivery services are HORRENDOUS! I ordered a sectional in January, was supposed to get it in Feb. Product was on back order, I got HALF OF THE SECTIONAL (seriously, WTH?!) delivered in April. The other half was supposed to get delivered in AUGUST (maybe) - originally ordered in January!!! NO COMMUNICATION about this in between. I ended up returning half of the sectional back.Additionally, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of anyone when trying to coordinate a delivery and they never seem to able to “confirm elevator reservation”, even though elevator reservations are there from day one. TWO of the deliveries were 1.5 hrs after the scheduled 3 hour window, which caused as HUGE headache and tons of problems with getting the products up to the apartment as the deliveries were past elevator reservation time. 5 stars for furniture. ZERO stars for delivery and communication or lack or thereof.

Non-existent customer service. Everything from the sales associates, to customer care, to the warehouse, up to corporate is horrendous. Multiple delays in shipments after a “guaranteed” delivery date given by the salesman trying to make a buck. It’s also nearly impossible get in contact with sales associates and management. My husband had to physically GO TO the store to get our refund issued. Trust me, you are way better off spending your money at any other furniture store.
I received yesterday my dinner set that I bough a month ago, for my surprise after the assembly, the delivery guys told me that 2 of the 4 chairs is out of stock.I wish to return everything because I bought all set and was delivered only 2 chairs with an excuse that the chairs is out of stock.This is the 3rd time that I bought something at City Furniture because is very conveniente for me since I live in the same building as city furniture and, all the deliveries I do had an problem… I don’t know what else I can do!!!! because the sales man always is helpful and gentle but when comes to delivery looks like city furniture is a big mess store.This is the last time that I bough something at City Furniture.I’m completely dissatisfied with delivery.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE.OBS: My husband’s anniversary is tomorrow and we invited an couple friends, where they will sit? My target today was finding a new bed and mattress, I was going all day from store to store and could not find what I was looking for. So my last stop was city furniture in midtown. My sales representative was James Garcia.I want to let you all know how helpful and extremely patient James was. He was able to understand what i was looking for and was going trough the store with me and showed all the option there was. I loved that he really did take time for me and my husband, my husband came later to look what we have put together. James was Genuinely interested in our needs and tried to match it, I really appreciated that. Thank you, keep it up.Now I just hope the delivery will be on the same great service.
On January 2nd 2021 I placed the large order at the City Furniture store. James Garcia and his manager did an excellent job to convince me that I need to buy the furniture for my entire apartment at the City Furniture store and guarantee me that if I will pay everything in advance I will be 100% guaranteed to the entire order to be delivered on time. However, today is April 21st and I still missing some furniture. The customer service department is not helpful at all. Very poor service. During the entire almost 4 months process since my initial order, I am under constant stress by trying to find the person who is responsible for the mess ! I even changed the bedroom set 3 month ago in order to receive everything on time. However I still miss the bedroom piece. Very poor customer service. No one is responsible for anything! I don’t live in Miami. And I am constantly buying air tickets to get to a Miami in order to except the delivery of missing piece. This is my 3 rd trip and I still did not receive my full order.
This was truly a dream experience! I could not have been more grateful for Sidney Meide. He was super helpful, patient, and kind! He knew what my vision was (Sleek Miami Modern) and really took the time out to understand what I need. This is my first time furniture shopping and we needed furniture from complete scratch and he was able to help put everything together seamlessly! I recently chose City Furniture Midtown to buy the furniture for the new place I was moving into.My sales assistant was James Garcia.I want to take a minute to stress how seamless and joyful James made my experience. He was extremely patient. I walked into and out of the store about five times.Making my decision took about a week, and every day I visited the store James welcomed me with a smile and happy greetings. He walked me through every step of my decision giving me pros a cons of the furniture and rugs I was trying to purchase.My delivery had a few bumps in the road.The delivery group didn’t arrive at the time they were supposed to, and honestly speaking it was a very different experience to the attention that all the employees would cordially extend at the Midtown location.I called James Garcia and he was prompt to put me in contact with Costumer Care to try to fix the issue I was encountering with the delivery crew.The end result is beautiful, my furniture got home delivered in perfect conditions! Thank you all and specially James for all your our dedication and hard-work! It doesn’t go unnoticed
My sales agent in the store was very friendly and personable. He was able to find a couch for me within 30 minutes of being in the store. No problem there.As for the delivery - it was totally unacceptable.Last week - The delivery was supposed to happen between 10:00-2:00. It was then pushed back to between 1:00-4:00. I was waiting around the condo for over 6 hours waiting to retrieve the couch.My building manager made it clear that at my condo building, we are unable to take deliveries after 5:00 PM. The driver finally showed up after 6:00 PM.I was able to look at the 2 couch pieces in the back of the truck. They looked to be in good shape. I called City Furniture to reschedule the delivery and during our phone call I asked if this happens a lot. The store associate said, unfortunately yes, it happens a lot. That was interesting to hear.We rescheduled the delivery for today - the delivery time window said 8:00-11:00 AM. I received a call from someone at the company at 10:45 AM to let me know the couch isn’t coming today and it won’t be available until 5/8/2021.I need to cancel my order and be refunded now.I’m currently on hold with the location I purchased the couch from (- 28 minutes right now).At this point, I don’t have any more patience for this. Now I have to call Chase Bank to have them initiate the refund process.I’m not sure how City Furniture can make this right.All I can say is WOW.
City Furniture has quiet possibly the worse customer service EVER! I’ve waited over two months for a couch, finally receive it and it’s damaged waiting another month to get the couch replaced JUST to receive another damaged couch and now I won’t get a call back to have the couch replaced! WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

My delivery drivers were amazingly helpful! I got two different deliveries and they were so great! Timely, careful and organized. They quickly assembled my items and took all the wrappings with them. Shopping at city was a great experience too! Each showroom is filled with incredible associates, all motivated to help you find what you need!
We just had the worst experience trying to make our first purchase at City Furniture. My wife and I found a bedroom set that we really liked, after which point we spent more than 2 hours in the store deciding about this and other things. At the moment of checkout, after the amazing help of Dario Lado, we were informed that part of the bed was backordered until late July (4.5 months from now). There was no sign posted on the bed or anything that advised of this problem. We then spoke with the store manager Alexander who was less then sympathetic about the backorder problem, in a very elegant way telling us that we were wasting his time multiple times “because due to company policies he could not help us”. We were told to “move forward”, without any resolution or options to offer us an alternative (pricing discount on the rest of the set.... offering us the floor model, etc). It’s a shame because we were ready to purchase a complete tv room and bedroom set from this store. We are not buying anything from the store at this point due to the very bad service experience overall.

Complete Nightmare - Still Dealing with over Charges 6 months later. I ordered over $10k worth of furniture from them and had issues with almost every step.One issue was I tested out a Purple Mattress at the store and decided I wanted to purchase it, but I did not want to purchase through City Furniture because I found a lot of better deals from mattress stores around the corner. The GM came over and promised me they would match the price as well as the same 60 month 0% financing. They also matched the free pillows that the mattress company was offering and put it on my receipt as a Discount. I figured I was already there and would give it a shot. Then he told me that because they done usually offer those types of financing deals, I would be charged interest, but not to worry, that the interest charges would drop off in no longer than 3 months. I felt skeptical about his response, but I decided to trust his word. It has been over 6 months, and I reached out by phone multiple times with no call back. I had to physically go into the store and speak to a NEW manager, who said he would look into it and get back to me the next day. It has been 4 days and he still has not gotten back to me.I also purchased a couch, and when I purchased it, the delivery date was set for the 5th of January. When the 5th of January came, no delivery. Then they called and said it was pushed back 4 weeks. Very frustrating, but somewhat understandable with the lack of supplies due to COVID. Finally, I get a call that my furniture will be delivered, at this time, Ive been waiting almost 3 months for. The day before the delivery, I get a phone call confirmation from my sales rep that the furniture will be there the next day. The delivery comes, and they only BROUGHT HALF THE ITEMS. At this time, my building requires a COI to delivery furniture, which I had to call multiple times to receive it from City Furniture, and they said they would send it, but never did UNTIL THE DELIVERY PEOPLE ACTUALLY SHOWED UP and the building refused to let them in. I also had to rent the elevator time, which was a cost to me. So NOW I am stuck with only half a couch after I was promised everything was coming. I finally called my sales person and told them that I no longer wanted any of the furniture and to refund me everything and come get the half the couch they delivered. After I insisted on this, the GM called me and apologized and he does not understand what happened, but promised me after the rest is delivered, he would give me a 5% discount on my order to cover me for the cost of me having to reserve my elevator. I finally did get all of my items, but I never received my discount. So now I am being charged interest on a 0% interest promotion and no discount. When I went into the store to talk to the new manager, he looked at my invoice and told me that the original manager gave me enough discount and he didnt think it was necessary to honor the original managers deal he made to me. I reminded him that the discount I was given was to PRICE MATCH a competitor and that was all. I also asked the sales person AND the manager to send me emails with everything that they were promising, and they kept saying they would but they never did.So now I am currently stuck fighting to get the interest taken off, dealing with multiple unorganized deliveries, and overpaying for items that I shouldnt have. I also brought in a friend who purchased some furniture and she also suffered from a similar experience and said she too would never step foot in that store again.STAY AWAY FROM CITY FURNITURE.
Went to the showroom twice. Each time I was sold a simple set of lamps I was told were available. Each time on the day of delivery I got a call from the wearhouse telling me its not available. Took 2 days off work to wait for a lamp that not delivered on neither occasion. If I could give City Furniture Midtown negative stars I would, but then again stars should not even be an option for City Furniture Midtown. They are so far away from getting things right.
Furniture (all pieces) arrived damaged. Called and emailed (with photos) same day, no response. Called 2 days later and spoke with a very helpful person who directed me to file a claim online. Filed claim with pictures and explanations. 7 days later no response. Called and kept on hold for 45 minutes and finally disconnected. Buttttt, everyone’s nice. It’s complicated! Would like furniture replaced ASAP though.

Amazing furniture and selection but THE worst customer service. They don’t honor what they say when it comes their service. They lied about the price and when delivered added charges. Then the electric cord broke on a couch and tried to up charge us when we had a warranty on it. There was faulty wires in couch and wanted us to pay out of pocket for it. Then on top of that there is a wait for 4 months for someone to come out and fix it. What!? Lol insane. Highly recommend going somewhere else that has same quality of furniture. Customer experience is key in business.

She made some amazing suggestions and brought my living room to life. Actually, she picked my furniture for me and I must say she has good taste. Good deals, but please do not dig into customers lifes to try to understand if they re wealthy or not!! The sale process was a little annoying. Associate was diligent and neat, but manager was repeating all the 1000 questions she already made us and tried to sell us what we already said no to. It is really irrelevant if I rent or own when I am buying (in cash!) a single piece of furniture!

I waited 15 days for them to deliver the wrong item and then seven more days for them to tell me I cannot return it when the first day when I received it I advised them it was not the same color. THEY JUST DONT CARE!
Ok, here is the deal, I purchased outside wicker seating set, after 2 years its is disintegrating, literally crumbling at the touch, also we always seem to have a little issue with delivery. Sorry City, El Dorado has an edge.Im looking at Costco now for replacement.
Working retail furniture myself I walked in expecting the same attention I gave my Clients and thats what I got from James. I already knew what I was looking for but he was very attentive to my needs. I am rating 5 stars not only for the great service but also because most furniture stores give your a delivery period of 2 weeks, but when I asked James when will my bed be delivered he told me it will be delivered in 3 days! Delivery was right on schedule and set up was very quick. I am very Happy with my purchase at City Furniture :)

Midtown store, served by Keith who was two weeks into his job. Great service and great product. There is a little up sell at the end but it makes sense so I took a three year protection plan and delivery. Quality price is unbeatable, even online. I walked out feeling very satisfied with zero buyers remorse.
Do not use this furniture company. my experience has been awful. I paid for a couch with the promise of a March 1st delivery date. The manager frank is the one who I placed the order with. Frank then emails me telling me the delivery date got pushed to March 20th so I decided to wait. Then emails me yesterday saying never mind and the delivery will happen on the 1st as promised. Then this morning the customer care team calls and says it will be April 4th before delivery. Theres no organization and no one seems to care that theyre giving me false promises.

Honestly, dont waste your time here unless youre working with Brian. I worked with Raul (sales) and Sarah (assistant manager) and they were anything but helpful and clearly take no pride in providing good customer service. I reached out to them both several times to make a purchase and for post sales support and never received a call back or response. Eventually spoke to someone in customer service who got me in touch with Brian and he was super helpful, customer focused, and a great attitude fixing my issues - and he wasnt even making a sale!
The sales Representative Raul Fernandez was very professional, first time we are on a furniture store and receive all details and information on all choices available to buy a mattress including the best price, quality as well as what is new on the enormous Mattress selection. My husband and I went to City Furniture Midtown in order to buy a new mattress. We had an awful experience with a brand new mattress purchased online two months ago and this tine we wanted to have the opportunity to try mattresses in-person to prevent the same mistake. James Garcia helped us first to go through their selection and we decided to go with a Tempurpedic. He convinced us of the wonderful benefits of this mattress and we trusted his judgment. Andres Bonilla helped us as well to choose for the ideal mattress pad and pillows to matched our election and we went again for Tempurpedic. First time shopping with City Furniture, didnt even receive my order yet because they are late, and I already REGRET IT. I placed my Order online with Dania Heaney she was very helpful. The reason Im upset with City Furniture services is because everything sounds great while youre placing the order not knowing that is not sure that they have the idem in stock, it shows in stock online but is actually NOT. I had to change my order a few time until they got it right. I had to change colors and style of the furniture as well, because nothing was available but showing available online. Finally got all the furniture changed and delivery scheduled not knowing that more stress was coming. They give you 3hrs window for the delivery BS Ive been sitting at home since 12:30pm missing a day of work. The delivery was schedule in between 12:30 to 3:30pm is already 3:53pm and no sing of the delivery. I text my sale representative Dana and she told me she has no control on that and gave a number to call, Ive been waiting 30min no one has assist me yet. You can online on their website to track the delivery but the information is wrong, time of the delivery and truck location is completely wrong. This is very disrespectful with peoples time. As I said my delivery was scheduled from 12:30pm to 3:30pm I called the costumer service number and I was in hold for over 30min. Finally the driver called at 4:15pm telling me that they were on the way and that they would be arriving in 30- to 45min. what a disrespect with peoples time and money. Im mind blown right now.When I thought the nightmare was over, wait until you read the rest.Delivery arrived at 5:30pm way after the time they said they will arrive. I was waiting on the line for costumer service over 30min when I received a call from the delivery guys, I was a bit relieved until they start unpacking my orders. They couch was two different colors, yes you read right two pieces two different colors, I literaly almost start to cry, I thought was a prank. After all I went thru with this specific order. Tried to call costumer service and of course NOBODY answered even after 30min. I had to call again my sales represetative Dania Heane which she was embareced with the whole situation. But she was very polite and helpful. Later at night e set down at the table which was another idem for my order and guess what, I realized that one of chairs was damaged. Very disapointed with everything but trying to be patiant with the situation. Now if you ask me if I will recommend any of my friends and people that I know to shop at City Furnfiture I will definitely say NO. First time shopping with this company and Im very disappointed.

Beware, they don’t let you leave honest feedback on their website for specific furniture. We bought a Couch over a Year ago, overall we were super happy, it was very comfortable, the quality of the material is made from doesnt degrade easily to the naked eye. the only main issue is the quality of the cushion you sit on that got very bad, now it is very soggy and destroys your back if you sit on it over 30 min, I have done over 20 chiropractor sessions and still wasnt able to fix damages to my lower back caused by this couch. Supposedly the Couch material was covered by the manufacture warranty for 2 years, but it was a fake claim as when we asked for insurance to kick in they said this particular couch does not have replacement parts, I think it is a classic false insurance scam.

Theyve taken two orders from me and delivered zero. Complete joke, have fun finding out on delivery day they are actually out of stock. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM THEM IF YOU ARE MOVING AND NEED ANYTHING BY A CERTAIN DATE. THEY HAVE NO CLUE IF THEY CAN DELIVER THE PRODUCT OR NOT. EMPTY PROMISES GALORE.

Visited the Midtown Miami showroom during their fourth of July saleAndres Bonilla was my salesperson extraordinaire not only did he walk me through the store and pick out the pieces that complimented my style but most importantly he was able to procure a white lacquer queen bedroom set that was out of stock. I asked him to pull out his magic wand ....and he did: working his magic & hunting down the furniture, getting it deliver to me ahead of schedule!During these crazy Covid times, Andres took the time to care.Kudos & Thank You Andres...I’ll be back!!

City Furniture has really stepped it up! Dario in the Midtown location is absolutely amazing and such a pleasure! Ralph at the Palmetto location is great to work with! The quality of their furniture, rugs, art and even accent pieces has improved tremendously. They are competing with these highend furniture companies.
This is the worst store in Miami. The manager never answer and the employees never follow up on our questions. 50 minutes to speak with someone one. And now they don’t even know when my items will be delivered. Never l coming back and asking for a full refund on this . Would never buy here and I will go to the GM is if necessary.
