Sephora is strategically located in the center of JCPenney. Smart! I personally had never been inside considering I do not wear makeup all that often, but have passed by plenty of times. I was in need of foundation, I lost my MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation and was pressed for time to walk to a MAC department store, so I was forced to go in as I was done shopping at JCP and passed the unavoidable Sephora store. Surprisingly, a nice experience!As Im walking in, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the crew. Celena was more than happy to assist me. She was professional, pleasant and attentive, and very accommodating to my skin needs. I informed her that I have sensitive skin and get skin allergies very easily, so she was mindful and tried on a couple of foundations from different brands.I took a chance and ended up purchasing Bare Minerals BarePro Performance Wear Powder Foundation for $31.00 plus tax. Looks good on my skin, hides the ugly sunspots, and doesnt give me a rash. Before today, Id never heard of this brand. Ive learned theyve been in business for over 20 years, their makeup is hypoallergenic, and most of their products have a natural sunscreen: titanium dioxide, or zinc oxide. Suitable for all skin types, including those with sensitive skin and those with acne concerns, rosacea, psoriasis and eczema.Celena was also kind enough to give me samples of a product she highly recommends to diminish sunspots, OLEHENRIKSEN Truth Serum. This product contains a strong amount of vitamin C, which she believes I need. I love the fact that she wasnt pushy and trying to sell me products before putting them to the test.Thank you Celena for a wonderful customer experience!

If I could give zero stars I would. I bought a gift card and was told it can only be redeemed at the store, I understood and let the person who received the gift card know. When the purchase was made online the store cancelled it (who knows why) and the person lost the value of the gift card. If youre going to cancel an order at least notify the purchaser and still give them the value of their gift card back.

The attencion was nice and rapid.

This store used to have nice staff but the staff that is there now is very rude. Customers beware you are better off walking a bit more and heading over to the main Sephora store inside the mall where the staff know how to treat their customers right.

Walking into this Sephora is like stepping into a beauty danger zone when Im strapped for cash. This beauty haven has everything and anything you need to pamper and make yourself look better than before. Their Make Up Forever Line is probably the best. The fact that they have the best products displayed makes it easy to find what youre looking for and sample it. Oh, I love sampling products and knowing what Im buying here, yet even with this, they have an awesome return policy. If you dont like the product after several trys bring it back with a receipt and your money is returned.

Love the product selection and this store location has free makeup classes every other Sunday for free. During the class the makeup artist teach the students how to contour, apply eye makeup and other make up techniques.

When you schedule a makeup consultation, you have to buy a giftcard for $50.00 before seeing the results. The biggest problem is that they dont tell you this until you arrive for your appointment and have already had the customary struggle for parking.
