Its july 18 2:11pm, i just called ask to speak to the manager and i been getting hung up on. And some guy just answered in spanish and said no and hung up again, now that same store called me and some lady rudely said they dont need new hire thats less money. I dont think thats fair im trying to get paid too.

Went today to pick up some shiners with my son. This was our second visit to purchase shinners, so disappointed to have seven die out of a dozen and half. Hasnt been an hour and their dead. Definitely will not be recommending this bait shop to anyone.

Big lively shiners and cheaper then the usual bait shop this time of year, the lady was super nice, no complaints.

Honestly the best bait shop I been to on a long time, owner is super friendly and had gone above and beyond with his treatment of covid by far the safest place if your trying to fish but want to be careful this is the place to come to awesome prices, and plenty of bait. Id drive an hour if I have to to come here for what ever.

The owner I believe was extremely helpful and really knew his stuff. This place is very convenient when you up and decide to go fishing late at night. Quality amount of live shrimp for fair prices. Highly recommend. Will be coming back

I’m new to the fishing world. I walked in to Bird Rd Bait and Tackle and I couldn’t have imagined nicer people and service. Alex is very knowledgeable and wasn’t quick to sell me his stuff. I found him to be honest and suggested what was best for me as a new angler even if it wasn’t convenient for him and his profits. I feel like I have new friends at this store and can’t wait to go back and keep learning.

Alex provides the first-rate experience you expect from Bait & Tackle store. The service I received far surpassed any other tackle store I’ve come across. I came to the store with little knowledge on deep-sea fishing. He actually walked me through on how to set-up a good rig and how to fish for the target fish in these local water. Great sage advice on how to land the fish I want. Definitely recommend this shop for you fishing needs.

Very unfriendly service from deaf lady behind counter. They make you feel like a criminal behind the plexiglass wall. Cant touch anything. Very expensive. Also NO credit. Cash only! Will never be back.

These guys are the bomb! They know the fishing in town, inshore and offshore. They also do fishing charters and lobster trips.Im from Portland Oregon and they helped me out while Im here visiting. Before I go fishing, I stop at their shop not only for live bait but some valuable knowledge of where the fish are biting! Really cool guys !

This is the 1st bait shop I have ever been to that does not accept credit cards so that made it a little bit inconvenient, but luckily I had just the right amount of cash. The lady was very friendly, got me some fresh ballyhoo some rig ballyhoo and prices are all right.

Purchased some shimmers today at Bird Road Bait and Tackle and was very happy after taking with the owner. He gave me some great tips for catching peacock bass and fishing. In the area. Definitely the place to go for live shinners ! Ended up catching 3 peacock bass and 1 jaguar cichlid at the places he recommended !

If I can give this place 0 stars I would. They had a sign on the door saying to call someone is near by. After the 4th time calling the number a lady picked up asking what we needed, asked if we were in front of the shop then proceeded to say come back at 6am. If you’re not going to be open 24hours then don’t promote it. I was just amazed how they turned a PAYING customer away knowingly we are in front of their store. I’m 100% sure it’s not the first time they’ve done it.

This place is not open 24 hours. I got there on a Monday at 10:30 AM, prime business hours and the signs says open but there is no one there. You have to call a number and the guy says he will be there in five minutes... I ended up waiting 25 minutes and left without anyone ever showing up. Very unprofessional.

This is a local shop that I like to support. She has live shrimp and shiners and night crawlers. Little pricey 5$ a dozen but shrimp were big and healthy.

Place says they’re 24 hours and I was just there and it was closed. Their open sign was even on but no one was there. The door was locked. I even knocked and nothing.

Horrible service. Does not treat his costumers right. Was charging me 50+ to buy bait.

Shouldnt put open twenty four hours if youre not really open twenty four hours.
