My car, a 2013 Odessy minivan, was having issues with the ABS breaking system that resulted in spongy brakes. My usual mechanic suggested I go to the local Honda dealership to deal with the problem because Honda ABS parts have computer chips that must be coded to the car. My mechanic gave me the printout of the errors code to bring to the dealer. I took the van to dealer who charged me a bundle to replace another expensive brake part, the master cylinder and a brake flush. After a hefty bill, the car worked for a few days, then the brakes were spongy again. It turns out the part has been on a national backorder for months with no delivery date. I assume that the dealership knew this and hoped that the master cylinder would fix my brake problems. I gave up waiting for the new part. Japanese Auto was able to find a used part, that has a 6 month warranty. They did not charge me to order the part and also inspected the part before they would install it. My van is working again and parts and labor were significantly less than the dealer. They also gave me the part that they removed so that I can inspect it if I want. After examining the ABS module that was removed, Japanese Auto was happy to recycle the used part for me if I was willing. I will definitely return if I have an issue with my Honda that requires their expertise. Forget the dealership who keeps insisting that 2013 Honda with 120K is an old car that needs to be replaced!

So refreshing to find a family-run business that is more concerned with quality automotive repair and fair pricing than taking advantage of clients. Carlene and Craig were communicative and helpful. Audie and the mechanic team did quality work. They took the time to look over my daughters car so I could address all my issues while it was there. Having been in auto businesses for over 50 years allows me to objectively inform you of the level of service provided.

The service was incredible. They took us in after we broke down on the turnpike 3 hours away from home. Diagnosed the issue right away and did a great job with repairs. Personable and caring owners. Its family owned and operated, the husband, Audi, works on the cars, his wife (Carlene) runs the front office, and their son helps them out. I dont usually write reviews, but these guys deserve it.

Ive owned several Honda cars and have utilized Japanese Auto Care for over 20 years. They have consistently delivered excellent service at fair prices, placing their customers best interests ahead of their short term gain. Now that Ive moved out to South Beach they are no longer convenient, however, I continue to use their services.

Took my 02 Acura in with some issues they diagnosed and fixed quickly and also they fixed a strut that 2 different mechanics were trying to sell me a full replacement when it was just a loose bolt they tightened for free.
